The new prophetic year has begun.
Each prophetic year finds its climax at the Feast of Tabernacles. Then there is an interim period of a few weeks before the next prophetic year begins.
This year the Feast of Tabernacles ended on September 30, 2010. The interim period extended a bit longer than usual this year, ending on November 21, when the new prophetic year began.
Each prophetic year starts with two periods of 76 days, because 76 is the biblical number of cleansing. Each year goes through a double cleansing cycle, which takes us essentially to the time of Passover.
Once we come to Passover, then that is the obvious feast to watch how the divine plan develops and to learn the revelation being given at the time. Next, we watch Pentecost, followed by the rest of the feast days.
The three dates surrounding the two 76-day periods give us the general theme or pattern for the coming prophetic year.
On April 22-24, 2011 we will be holding our third and final Passover conference in Manassas, VA. It will be hosted by Stone Kingdom Ministries as usual, and I am scheduled to be one of the speakers.
So the three dates above are watch dates that reveal the on-going divine plan in this coming year.
On November 20, Sunny Day had a meeting in Eau Claire, Wisconsin that was entitled: Manifesting the Glory. This set us up for the Prophetic New Year that was to begin the next day. At the meeting, we read an excerpt from Bill Britton’s book, Light out of Shadows:
“Out from behind the veil will come a company of Sons who will have the message of the EVERLASTING GOSPEL, the same message of the fullness of God that Jesus preached and will do the works of Jesus and even greater works, because of the glory of His Presence in that Holy of Holies into which they have entered.
“There will be no failures. Jesus had none. They will manifest the glory of the Father, as Jesus did. They will have the Spirit without measure, as was given to Jesus. There will be no limit to the power of this Sonship.
“They will strike the kingdoms of this world at their very base. All powers in this world will be rendered weak and helpless before the mighty demonstration of these Sons of God. Wherever they are heard, their message (or trumpet) will sound the finish of Satan’s power and kingdom. All the prisoners will be loosed from all bondage—sin, sickness, and finally death will all be destroyed.”
This and much more was discussed and pondered. This gives us the first hint of what is being established in the coming prophetic year. It is consistent with the revelation that I received at the Tabernacles conference in September at Sweetwater, TN.
I believe that the quail and manna theme is foundational to what is coming, and so I wrote of this in my October FFI. God is merging the two streams of spiritual food and setting the table to feed us that which is necessary to take the gospel of the Kingdom to a new level.
Those who do not like the quail that God is sending us will not understand the plan and will find it difficult to be part of this new flow of the Spirit.
Those who do not like the manna will be left behind without truly experiencing the glory that is coming and the empowerment of the Spirit in this next move of God.
As I awoke on the morning of Nov. 21, I heard the Father speak, saying, “Declare Your Identity.”
Having just studied Romans 7 and 8, I understood this in the light of the two “I’s” in Romans 7, where Paul spoke of his Adamic “I” in contrast with his Christ “I.” We are identified either with the first Adam or the last Adam. Paul says in 1 Cor. 15:45-49,
45 So also is it written, “The first man became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit… 47 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
We have two identities, one from each “Adam.” We are the son of whichever Adam we claim as our father. If we claim the first Adam as our father, we are declaring that we are “earthy.” If we claim the last Adam (Christ) as our Father, we bear the image of the heavenly Adam.
We will do the works of the Adam that we claim as our father. The first Adam was created in the image of God, but as it turned out, he became the man of sin. The last Adam, however, succeeded where the first Adam failed. If we identify with the last Adam, we will do His works and bear His image.
I was led to post this Declaration of Identity on the mirror, to look myself in the eye, and to speak directly to the Christ “I” within me in this way:
YOU are a son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, a child of the Promise. YOU have been given the Birthright with all of the blessings of heaven and earth at your disposal, to be used in accordance with the divine plan that the Spirit is outworking in the earth daily.
As part of the Body of Christ, positioned under the Head, YOU have been given all authority in both heaven and in earth. It is YOUR calling to have dominion over the creation itself and to exercise that authority as Jesus Christ did when He ministered in the earth. YOU have authority over time and distance, governments, principalities and powers, nature, disease, and death itself.
YOU are the righteousness of God in Christ, called to show forth the glory of God to every creature, that all may know both the character and the works of God through YOU. So come forth this day and subdue all things under your feet. Bring order out of chaos, deliverance from bondage, light out of darkness, health out of sickness, and life out of death.
I have never been one to claim authority that was not mine. Neither have I been quick to claim authority until I am ready to use it properly. I have understood from the beginning that there is a training period for all authority, a school of discipline and discipleship, during which time I am not much different from a servant (Gal. 4:1).
Paul spoke of this in Galatians 3 & 4 in historical terms, showing how, historically speaking, we were in training under the Old Covenant. The advent of the New Covenant brings us into the place of Sonship, where we are able to exercise God-given authority as mature sons.
However, when this principle is applied to individuals, we find that each of us must go through the same pattern as seen in the overall historic picture. When we first become believers through faith, we must then enter a time of obedience training, where we learn to be good servants.
Yet if we remain servants only, we miss the whole point of the training. It would be like a perpetual student at the University, who continually piles up degrees until he dies of old age without ever actually using his knowledge to make the world a better place.
The time ought to come when we graduate from school and begin to put into practice that which we have learned. It is not that we stop learning, of course, for we will continue to learn by experience every day. But we ought to come to the point where we are able to use our training to build the Kingdom of God.
Our schooling is mostly on-the-job training. With each lesson comes a measure of work that we are able to do in building the Kingdom of God. Thus, even our training is beneficial in building the Kingdom. But there is also a turning point in our lives where we move to the next level.
I believe that we (as a generation) are at that point now. We have been seeing the signs of Joseph for the past two years or more. I saw it as early as 1982, but did not really understand where this would lead. Back then, I only knew that I had entered the “dungeon” on November 12, 1981 to be trained “as Joseph” for the next 12 years.
That training period ended Nov. 12, 1993, and nine days later we began our Jubilee Prayer Campaign, which would continue until Oct. 7, 2006.
At that point, we began to see the emergence of the patterns of both Joshua and Elisha. We saw this as an extension and a completion of the Moses-Elijah pattern. Moses’ work was being completed by Joshua, and Elijah’s work was being completed by Elisha.
In a way, Moses and Elijah were fulfilled in the first coming of Christ, while Joshua and Elisha complete the work in the time of the second coming of Christ.
As I wrote in the November FFI, Joseph has been found, and it is as if he has been raised from the dead (Gen. 45:28). Joseph’s life prophesied of a long period of time in which it appeared that the Birthright holders had been lost and their Birthright given to others.
We are now at the time when the true heirs of Joseph’s Birthright have been found and have re-established their claim to its blessings and authority.
When Joseph was born, it was immediately understood that he was the heir to the Birthright that Jacob-Israel held. Even so, he was 17 when he finally was given the “coat of many colors” (Gen. 37:2, 3), which marked him and set him apart as the heir.
He then had two prophetic dreams in which he saw his brothers and parents bowing down to him. They all understood this to mean that he would be given authority over all of them. The brothers were jealous and angry at their younger brother for his impertinence.
The day came when they sold Joseph as a slave to traders who were on their way to Egypt. The brothers dipped his coat in blood to make it look as if he had been torn apart by wild animals, and they allowed their father to assume that Joseph was dead.
So the promise ended after 17 years. Joseph was “dead,” and it was assumed that the Birthright would probably go to Judah.
Many years later, at the age of 30, Joseph was made second ruler in Egypt, so that he could spend seven years in preparing for the prophesied famine. When the famine struck, Joseph’s brothers came to buy grain in Egypt. Joseph recognized them, of course, but he did not identify himself to them that first year of the famine.
He finally revealed himself in the second year, when he was 39 years old. Then he sent word to his father, Jacob, asking him to come to live in Egypt. When Jacob arrived, he told Pharaoh in Gen. 47:9, “The years of my sojourning are one hundred and thirty.”
So we see that when Joseph was re-established as the true Birthright holder, Jacob was 130 years old. Jacob still retained the Birthright for as long as he lived, and he finally died at the age of 147.
Gen. 47:28 says,
28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years; so the length of Jacob’s life was one hundred and forty-seven years.
When Jacob died, his Birthright was transferred to Joseph. Up until that point, Joseph had only received the promise, because one cannot inherit the Birthright until the previous holder had died.
So we see that there were two 17-year periods in the life of Joseph which related to the Birthright and its transfer. The first began with the birth of Joseph and ended with his “death” in Egypt. The second began with his new birth, his “resurrection from the dead,” and it ended with the death of Jacob.
These two cycles overlay upon each other as a double witness to show us that the number 17 is important in understanding the transfer of the Birthright to Joseph. It just happens, then, that 17 years ago, on Nov. 28, 1993, we presented our petition to the Divine Court that the true Birthright holders (the overcomers) would be given their inheritance.
We know that we won our case. We just did not know how long it would take for us to receive the Birthright. It is now 17 years later (as of Nov. 28-29, 2010). In the past few years we have seen many signs of the resurrection of Joseph, but only now are we arriving at the 17-year mark.
It occurred to me earlier this month that if we are now at the time where Jacob dies and transfers the Birthright to Joseph, then Jacob must have been “born” 147 years ago.
So I checked Timetables of History and was reminded that Lincoln issued The Emancipation Proclamation to free the slaves on January 1, 1863. This was 147 years ago as of January 1, 2010. If we think of this Proclamation as being the birth of Jacob, we can see how it was like a Jubilee to all the slaves being set free. Certainly, they themselves considered it to be a Jubilee.
Secondly, they also identified themselves with the Israelites coming out of slavery from Egypt, as if to identify with that first Passover, where Israel left the house of bondage.
Once I made that connection, the revelation of Jan. 1, 2010 became clear. On that New Year’s Eve, I was led to attend an all-night prayer meeting, where I was asked to teach the people from about midnight until 3 a.m.
The main reason I felt led to go to this meeting was because of a revelation given to Oklahoma Bob that this was to be considered a “New Year’s Passover.”
This was a bit strange at the time, because I had never thought of New Year’s Eve as a Passover. But now it is clear that it was, in part, to connect it to the birth of Jacob in 1863. This in turn connects it to people coming out of Egypt at Passover.
Hence, Bob’s revelation at the time was a clue to this 147-year time cycle depicting the life of Jacob in relation to the 17 years leading up to the transfer of the Birthright to the Joseph company in our own time.
The pieces of revelation are now beginning to come together, and the picture is beginning to emerge.
In the story of Joseph, he had been ruling Egypt for many years already before Jacob even discovered that he was alive. Yet he had not yet obtained the Birthright from Jacob. In other words, even before receiving it, Joseph was already exercising the authority of the Birthright.
So also it is with us. We have been functioning as heirs for a long time in various ways, each in our individual manner according to our callings. But none of this negates the appointed time of the Father. In fact, the heirs of the promise are characterized by their actions ahead of the formal time of transference.
This is what it means to be functioning as sons today, without having to wait for the full inheritance, which is the glorified body. We are to recognize our calling, and as we mature spiritually, we are to exercise the authority of our callings more and more as the days and years pass.
The Declaration of Identity is designed to speak to your spirit-man and empower Christ-in-you to go about doing the Father’s business. This may take time to develop, but it is one way to develop the faith and confidence necessary to overcome all things in the days ahead.
Michael Drosnin has a third book out now, entitled The Bible Code III. This “code” shows a high probability of danger in 2011 of a nuclear terrorist attack, not by some enemy government, but by non-governmental “terrorists.”
The names of three cities are associated with this attack in the Bible Code: Washington, New York, and Jerusalem. The Code suggests that this has been in the planning stage since 2006 but will be carried out in 2011.
For many years, I have understood that God will grant us the empowerment to overcome, even as things get worse in the world. In other words, as things get worse, God will manifest Himself increasingly in us, so that we can be overcomers in all things.
So when the Bible Code reveals hard times ahead, with some sort of nuclear incident in 2011 and full-blown economic depression by 2012, it tells me that the glory of God is about to increase in us. I believe that we are going to see signs and wonders in an unprecedented way in the months and years ahead.
I do not see doomsday ahead, except, of course, for the Babylonian system. I see God bringing doom to Babylon in order to set His people free. Those who have no faith in God, or who have not experienced His deliverance and power in their lives, may have a difficult time as Babylon falls around them. The solution is not to deny reality, but to know the divine plan and to recognize God’s hand in all things.
I have long believed that Jerusalem would be destroyed by a nuclear device, as described in Isaiah 29:1-6. Verses 7 and 8 tell us that the Palestinians and Arab people, who are “hungry” to reclaim Palestine and Jerusalem, will come up empty as well, due to the nuclear fallout. No one will occupy it in the end, because it is God’s intent to “cast out the bondwoman” (Hagar-Jerusalem; see Gal. 4:30).
Physical Jerusalem has long been a contender for the promises of God, because its Old Covenant “children” love their “mother.” But Scripture makes it clear that it is the New Jerusalem that is our mother (Gal. 4:26), and as her children, we are the heirs of the promise (Gal. 4:28).
The reason America is coming under divine judgment along with Hagar-Jerusalem is because of our political and religious support. One cannot stand with Hagar and hope to remain immune from the plan and purpose of God. Much of the Church has misunderstood the role of the old Jerusalem. They simply do not believe Paul’s discussion in Galatians 4, and so they will be shocked and horrified when God finally casts out the bondwoman and her son.
You, however, know the truth and will not be shaken.
