Recognizing Joseph in 2010

We did not see the ninth sign of Elisha fulfilled at the conference in Manassas, as I had anticipated. It appears that we will see it at the time of the Second Passover in early May. But it is too early to report on this.

Other than the teaching and fellowship which we all experienced in Manassas, the main accomplishment on the spiritual/prophetic side was our prayer and anointing for protection in the days ahead. This was done as the result of a number of different people discerning parts of the overall revelation. When the time came, it was all pieced together and became clear that we were to do this.

My question, then, is why is protection needed in the days ahead? It appears that we could see some dangerous or difficult times soon, though I have no specific idea about the timing or nature of those events.

It is quite possible that it is connected to the fact that the Israeli state has now passed its 62nd anniversary since 1948. A few months ago, I began to discern that there was a link to Daniel 5:31, which says,

31 So Darius the Mede received the kingdom at about the age of sixty-two.

To understand the significance of this number, we have to start far back in Scripture.

Israel’s First Captivity to Babylon

In Judges 3:8 we read about Israel’s first captivity to the king of Mesopotamia (“land between the two rivers”). This is the old name for Babylon, the land between the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers. Not many realize that this was Israel’s first captivity to the king of Babylon.

Because it was their first captivity after entering the land under Joshua, it was also a pattern setter. It is more important than the other captivities from a prophetic view. The captivity lasted eight years (Judg. 3:8), and this was a prophetic type of 8 x 414 years’ captivity in the long-term.

The first two cycles of 414 years bring us to the fall of Babylon in 537 B.C., ending the time of the Babylonian Empire that had been in existence for 70 years.

FFI-262-1.0.png

The 414-year cycle is, of course, “Cursed Time.” It is a grace period given to Babylon in which to repent and to bring forth the fruits of the Kingdom.

Israel was God’s vineyard that He planted in Canaan, expecting to receive the fruits of the Kingdom (Is. 5:1-7). But Israel failed in their responsibility, so God “sold” them into the hands of this Babylonian king for eight years. The legal principle is based on the law of restitution (Ex. 22:3).

God put Israel under the authority of Babylon for eight years, and in return, Babylon was required to pay off the debt that Israel owed to God. Babylon became responsible to bring forth the fruits of the kingdom, which, of course, they failed to do after eight years had passed.

And so God foreclosed upon Babylon and restored Israel to its position as the “chosen” people, along with the responsibility to bring forth the fruits of the kingdom. I believe that Babylon was given seven periods of 414 days in which to fulfill the requirements of the divine court. This amounted to nearly eight years in all. Specifically, it was seven years and 343 days.

In applying this to the larger picture of 414-year cycles, Babylon fell on Cursed Time for failing to fulfill their responsibility to the law. They had enjoyed the benefit of Israel’s slave labor as judged by God, but Babylon had not fulfilled its responsibility to that same law of captivity. Hence, they fell on Cursed Time, 7 x 414 days in Judges 3:10, and in the bigger picture, the Empire fell after 2 x 414 years in 537 B.C.

But this was an eight-year captivity and prophesied of eight periods of 414 years in long-term prophecy. And so we find that another six cycles of 414 years were required to complete the prophetic picture. These cycles ended in 1948 with the formation of the Israeli state.

FFI-262-2.png

So the Israeli state was established on Cursed Time on a cycle connecting it to Babylon. What is that connection? In the book of Jasher we learn that Esau killed Nimrod and stole (usurped) his garments by which he ruled the earth. Nimrod’s men chased him, but he escaped and arrived home safe but famished. This is when he sold the birthright to Jacob for some red pottage.

I believe that this is story prophesied of a later time when the descendants of Esau-Edom would usurp the authority of Babylon and rule the earth by the power of the flesh. We know that Esau’s descendants eventually were conquered and absorbed into Jewry in 126 B.C. and that Edom ceased to be a separate nation from the Jewish nation. This is known to all historians.

What is not generally understood is that all the prophecies of Edom (or Idumea) could only be fulfilled within the Jewish people who absorbed them. The Jewish people are also fulfilling another set of prophecies that pertain to the remnant of Judah, but that is a different story for another time.

According to the laws of tribulation, Israel and Judah themselves were not allowed to “return” to the old land until they had repented and acknowledged their hostility to Yahweh (Yeshua). We find this law in Lev. 26:40-42. For this reason, the Israeli state could not be established under the banner of Judah or Israel, but could only do so under a different claim to the land.

Esau-Edom did have a claim to the land according to Isaac’s prophecy to him in Gen. 27:40, because Jacob had usurped the blessing in an unlawful manner. At some point in history, Jacob would have to give up the blessing and return it to Esau in order to give the prophecies of God time to work out in the correct manner. It also served to give Esau time to prove himself unworthy before God took it away from him and gave it to Jacob.

This is what happened in 1948. Jacob, represented by Britain (“Union Jack”) gave the land back to Esau. Also, because 1948 was the end of Babylon’s 8 cycles of 414 years, God allowed Esau-Edom to “kill Nimrod” and usurp the authority of Babylon in 1948. This was the year that the United Nations was formed, and one of its first acts was to divide the land between the Jews and Palestinians.

It has now been 62 years since 1948. The age of Darius the Mede is given to us as 62 years in Dan. 5:31. For what reason? Is it merely Bible trivia that has no purpose? I do not believe so. I believe that it was a subtle prophecy that Babylon (as controlled by Esau) would be overthrown after a 62-year cycle—in other words, in 2010.

The Latter Rain Movement

The Holy Spirit was poured out on February 14, 1948 in Canada in a movement known as the Latter Rain. In my view, this occurred as Babylon’s time was about to come to an end after 8 x 414 years.

In other words, in long-term prophecy, God had “sold” Israel to Babylon for 8 x 414 years, ending in 1948. When this time of judgment ended, God intended to judge Babylon and to give the birthright back to true Israel. The Latter Rain movement was the fulfillment of this blessing. It was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that was cut short only because the blessing had to be returned to Esau.

And so once again, the Church had to wait its turn. It had to wait for Esau to exercise his rights to receive what was lost in Genesis 27. The Latter Rain movement, then, died out after a few years, but not before the revelation had been given about the manifestation of the Sons of God and the feast of Tabernacles.

They expected to receive the fullness of the Spirit and to see the promise of the Father given to them at that time. However, they were disappointed and did not understand why it passed from them. They did not know the bigger picture because they did not understand the connection to Esau and to Nimrod. They did not know the time cycles in which they were living. They did not know the law of God nor the rights of Edom in the divine court.

But in the interim 62 years, we have come to see all of these things. We understand the history of Edom and the laws of the Kingdom. We understand the history of God’s vineyard in Isaiah 5. I wrote about this more fully in my booklet, The Debt Note in Prophecy.

So we are now at the end of 62 years. Darius is now 62 years old, prophetically speaking. We have now come to the court date for Esau-Edom as of April 19, 2010. This was the day the Israeli state celebrated its 62nd anniversary on the Jewish calendar.

Esau has proven himself to be unworthy of continuing to hold the birthright and the name Israel. The birthright has now reverted back to the true Israelites (overcomers). That which the Latter Rain movement had to give up in 1948 has now been taken away from Esau and given back to Jacob-Israel.

The effect of this is that the true Israelites have now been given the divine mandate and responsibility to bring forth the sons of God through the feast of Tabernacles. Many throughout history have been willing to do this and have tried hard to become a manifested son of God, but in the end they have not held the divine court documents giving them the right as chosen people to do so. And so it has always passed on to a future generation.

Until now.

The Importance of 2010

I have written in the past about the importance of the year 2010 in the history of Israel and its connection to American history. But here is a summary.

Dating from the fall of Samaria, the capital of Israel, which occurred in 721 B.C., Israel was sent into a very long captivity described in Jer. 30:7 as “the time of Jacob’s trouble.” This is specifically a time cycle of 21 years or 210 years (long term).

Twelve such cycles of 210 years comes to 2,520 years, ending in 1800 A.D. with the building of America’s capital known as Washington D.C. There is 210-year cycle for each of the tribes of Israel. There are 12 land-owning tribes plus a 13th tribe (Levi). So also America began with 13 colonies as a direct parallel to ancient Israel. That 13th period of 210 years brings us from 1800 to the year 2010.

FFI-262-3.png

So the year 2010 is the end of the long “time of Jacob’s trouble.” The good news is that we should be coming out of this soon.

Another very important time cycle associated with the House of Israel is found in Ezekiel 4:5. It is 390 years.

FFI-262-4.png

In both of the charts above, we can see that these very important dates in American history are tied to the fall of Samaria in 721 B.C. In other words, the captivity of Israel, beginning with the fall of Samaria, ends in America.

The first chart shows that we are completing the time of Jacob’s trouble, first in the year 1800 and then in 2010.

The second chart shows that the time of captivity began to end in 1620 and then again in 2010. The number 390 speaks of “no king in Israel,” as I showed in Secrets of Time, chapter 13. Hence, we should soon see evidence that Jesus Christ is being proclaimed King.

We have already had a preview of this back in 1997, which was 390 years after the Jamestown colony was established in 1607. The Promise Keepers descended upon Washington D.C. in early October of 1997 to declare Jesus Christ as King. Now we are watching the second witness take place, dating from the Plymouth colony in 1620.

These two colonies brought about the establishment of America as a nation.

All of this shows us the importance of the year 2010 in the big prophetic picture. So when we factor in the 62-year cycle from 1948, this year becomes even more significant.

The Decree of April 20, 2010

In monitoring the revelation pertaining to this 62-year cycle, we took note that April 19, 2010 was the day that the Israelis would celebrate their 62nd anniversary of independence since 1948. This was according to the Jewish calendar (Iyyar 5). Another possible date to watch will be May 14, since they declared independence on May 14, 1948 (which was Iyyar 5 in that year).

April 20, 2010 is also 1290 days from October 7, 2006, when we gathered in Babylon, NY to pour out the seventh bowl of water and wine into the air, according to the pattern of Revelation 16:17. As we did this, we spoke the word, “It is done,” as it is written in that same verse.

The number 1290 is mentioned in Daniel 12:11. It is the number of the abomination of desolation.

Seeing these time cycles led us to watch April 19 and 20 to see clues as to what God would do. We did not see any particular event reported in the mainstream news, but on April 20 we were led to make a decree at a meeting of intercessors that I attended.

The intercessor leading the meeting told of a dream in which a pastor invited her to dinner. At the dinner, a large bowl of vegetables was put on the table. The pastor took the entire bowl and dumped the food on his plate, leaving nothing for her or the other people with her.

She wondered what this meant, and she found the answer in Ezekiel 34. There God judges the shepherds of Israel for feeding themselves but not the sheep. Verse 2:

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds, Thus says the Lord God, Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves. Should not the shepherds feed the flock?

This chapter is about the lost sheep of the House of Israel, whom the shepherds refused to search for and find. As a result, God says in verse 11,

11 Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.

These lost sheep in Ezekiel’s day were the people of the northern House of Israel, whose capital was Samaria. The lost tribes of Israel were to fulfill the same prophetic pattern as Joseph, who was lost in Egypt and presumed to be dead many years earlier.

Conversely, when Joseph was found and reunited with his father and brothers, it was like being raised from the dead. Joseph was the inheritor of the Birthright (1 Chron. 5:1, 2) and the one called to fulfill the promise of Sonship. But that Birthright was in doubt (from man’s perspective) until Joseph was found.

Joseph was separated from his father for 21 years, and this established one of the two times known as “Jacob’s trouble.” Joseph was 18 when sold to the Egyptians, and he was 39 when they were reunited. This 21-year period established the current pattern being fulfilled in long-term prophecy of 210-year cycles.

The year 2010 is the end of 13 periods of 210 years from the fall of Samaria, when the sheep were scattered and lost, as Ezekiel 34 describes. The establishment of America and the building of our nation’s capital in 1800 after 12 periods of 210 years was a prophetic marker for the final 210-year period ending in 2010.

So when the intercessors were led to Ezekiel 34 and shared this specifically on April 20, 2010, at the end of the 1290-day period of the abomination of desolation, I could not help but see that this was highly significant in the history of the Kingdom.

We discussed the “Covenant of Peace” in Ez. 34:25,

25 And I will make a Covenant of Peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Take special note that these Israelites are to “live securely in the wilderness,” not back in the land of Canaan from which they had come. This is consistent with the promise in Hosea 2:14, where God speaks of the House of Israel being brought into the wilderness, where God would “betroth” her to Himself (vs. 19, 20). Verse 23 continues,

23 . . . and I will say to those who were not My people, You ARE My people! And they will say, Thou art my God!

This is not done in the old land of Canaan, but in the wilderness—that is, outside the land. The Jews who have returned to the old land without repenting are not the lost sheep of the House of Israel. The Jews trace their origins to the House of Judah, not to the House of Israel. They followed the pattern of Judah, rather than Joseph. Judah was not lost. Only Joseph was lost.

For this reason the Jews are not fulfilling the prophecies of the lost sheep of the House of Israel in Ezekiel 34. The Covenant of Peace is not being made with them, but with those whom Christ has found when He came to seek and to save that which was lost.

As I showed in my books, Who is a Jew? and Who is an Israelite?, those who were justified by faith have joined the tribe of Judah; and those who come into Sonship as the manifested Sons of God are the true Israelites.

This year 2010, then, is bound to be a very significant year in the history of the lost sheep of Israel. We have been seeing signs of Joseph for the past year, as I have already reported in earlier FFI’s. Perhaps this is because Joseph’s brothers technically saw him a year before they understood who he was.

If we may draw that parallel, then 2009 was the year when Joseph was discovered, but 2010 is when he is to be recognized for who he is.

The FFI dated November 2009 told how the hidden treasure was found in the field. This prophesied of Joseph, and we understood that we were coming into the time of the revelation of Joseph. Now we are in the second year, when Joseph’s brothers are to come again to buy grain in the famine.

As a result of these revelations and discernments, the intercessors on April 20, 2010 decreed the casting out of the bondwoman (Hagar-Jerusalem) and the establishment of the free woman (Sarah-New Jerusalem). In essence, it was a declaration of Joseph being recognized as the inheritor of the Birthright.

We will now see how this works out in the world.
