On Monday, October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy brought in the new Prophetic Year. The previous year, known as the Year of Awakening, will phase out between now and the first of January.
I do not yet know precisely the name of the year ahead, but I believe it has to do with getting up after awakening out of sleep, getting dressed, and going to work. I believe that the year ahead will prove to be the time when we begin to be sent out in a greater way to fulfill whatever callings we have been given.
On October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy struck the New Jersey coast and the great financial center of Mystery Babylon brought New York City to its knees. The timing of this hurricane told us its meaning, for it occurred 414 days after Operation Jericho (Sept. 11, 2011).
Operation Jericho itself was a prophetic work done in St. Paul, Minnesota precisely ten years after the Twin Towers were demolished in New York City. Hence, by two cycles of time, first the ten-year Hezekiah Factor, followed by the 414-day cycle of Cursed Time, these three events linked together.
When the Twin Towers were demolished in 2001, we understood that Isaiah 30:25 and 26 were being fulfilled.
25 And on every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. 26 And the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the Lord binds up the fracture [breach] of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.
There are three main factors listed here in the days leading up to the repair of the breach (or “fracture”). These are the the towers, the moon, and the streams of water.
When the towers fell in 2001, we knew it was a sign of the outpouring of the Spirit (streams), because 911 is the gematria for the Greek word charis, “grace.” Secondly, we understood that we would soon see a sign of the moon.
The Hebrew word for moon is yerach, the root word for Jericho. Jericho was named for the moon and is thus a type of the church as well as a type of Babylon. In short, it is a type of the church in Babylon. Joshua came to tear down the walls of Jericho, and he was later buried in Timnath-serah (Judges 2:9), which means “a portion of the sun.”
Hence, Joshua, a portion of the sun, overthrew Jericho, the moon. For this reason, we began watching for a Jericho sign in connection with the fall of the Twin Towers. This Jericho sign did not appear until ten years later, when a man in the Twin Cities felt called to do Operation Jericho on September 11, 2011.
Its main purpose was to demolish the denominational walls around the church and to unite believers as the body of Christ. Operation Jericho was a seven-day prayer campaign, ending on September 17 with a few hundred believers driving around the Twin Cities on the loop of Interstates 494 and 694. I participated in this prayer campaign and took part in its closing Victory celebration at the State Capital on September 17, 2011.
We then turned our attention to the third sign, which spoke of the rain of the Holy Spirit. We had to wait 414 days before Hurricane Sandy arrived on Oct. 29, 2012.
The context of Isaiah 30:25 and 26 shows that the entire chapter spoke of a breach in the relationship between God and His people, which He was working to repair. This breach was caused by the rebellious hearts of the people and its leaders, who continually refused to obey the laws of God.
The particular law that Isaiah set forth in these chapters (30-32) is found in Deut. 17:16. This is part of God’s instructions for kings:
16 Moreover, he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor shall he cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, since the Lord has said, “You shall never again return that way.”
The people were to rely upon God for protection from foreign enemies. But if the people rebelled against God’s law, then God vowed to empower those enemies and fight on their side until His people were conquered and put into captivity. The problem was that every time God raised up enemies against Israel, they tried to defend themselves from God’s judgment by multiplying horses. In other words, they depended upon their military, rather than repenting of their lawlessness.
This happened in Isaiah’s day when God raised up the Assyrians to conquer the House of Israel. Israel’s kings made alliances with Egypt and took steps to protect themselves by building up their cavalry. Isaiah told them in Isaiah 30:1,
1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord, “who execute a plan, but not Mine, and make an alliance but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin, 2 who proceed down to Egypt without consulting Me, to take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh, and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt.”
This is what caused a widening of the breach between God and Israel, for Isaiah continues in verses 12, 13,
12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, “Since you have rejected this word, and have put your trust in oppression and guile and have relied on them, 13 therefore, this iniquity will be to you like a breach to fall…
The prophet continues in Isaiah 31:1-3,
1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord! … 3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God, and their horses are flesh and not spirit… and all of them will come to an end together.
This situation, Isaiah says, will continue until God begins preparing to pour out His Spirit, and during that time, the towers will fall, and the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun. In that day, He will bind up this breach.
The breach cannot be resolved until the people cease trying to defend themselves against God’s judgment and instead repent, turn back to Him, and follow His law. Hence, the prophet says in 32:15 that the people should seek God “until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high.”
When the Twin Towers fell, America prayed “God bless America,” and then took steps to defend itself against divine judgment. Instead of repenting, and instead of seeing this disaster as a reason to return to God, the president called for war. It was not long before we had sent troops to Afghanistan and then to Iraq to defend our right to sin against God and to cast Him off His throne.
I wrote of this extensively in 2001, warning against going to war, but mine was just a small voice drowned out by the bloodthirsty calls for military action. As a result, the Patriot Act was passed, and Americans lost more freedoms in a day than had been lost in the last century. It was a huge step back toward “Egypt,” the house of bondage.
Yet God’s will is greater than man’s will. We are in the time prophesied by Isaiah, where God has declared war upon America and will use her enemies to bring her to her knees in repentance. This has always been God’s reason for bringing tribulation upon His people. By God’s mercy, the pressure will increase until the repentance occurs to His satisfaction.
Little did we know in 2001 just how long this would take. Ten years later came Operation Jericho to fulfill the second part of Isaiah’s prophecy. Then 414 days later came Hurricane Sandy to fulfill the third part of the prophecy, bringing streams of water pouring into the pit of “Ground Zero,” where the Twin Towers had once stood.
The 414-day cycle is the grace period between the divine sentence and the execution of that judgment. The 414-day interim is the time allotted to repent and thereby avert judgment.
In Operation Jericho, September 11-17, 2011, the judgment of God was pronounced upon “Jericho” in all its modern forms. 414 days later, Hurricane Sandy pounded New York with the rain and streams of water in a baptism of water and fire, bringing judgment full circle back to New York City, one of the financial capitals of Mystery Babylon today.
In this hurricane, God reminded America that they have built their house upon the sand, and when the floods came, they were swept away. The physical event pictures the spiritual condition of America and of the church in Babylon.
But always keep in mind that God is using tribulation to bring us to repentance. News commentators prophesied unknowingly once again that New York City had been “brought to its knees.” That event has yet to come, but it will surely come as God increases the pressure in the near future.
Last summer I reported on the repair of the breach in terms of rebuilding the walls of the New Jerusalem, based upon the pattern of Nehemiah 6:15,
15 So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.
Whereas Operation Jericho tore down the walls of Jericho in 2011, this new work in 2012 was designed to repair the breach in the walls of the New Jerusalem.
Hence, the wall-building work began on July 22, 2012 and ended 52 days later on September 12, which was Elul 25 this year by the Hebrew calendar. A group of seven was led to go to Bemidji, Minnesota to prophesy and decree on September 11 to complete this building project.
A major part of this work involved releasing the water of the Spirit as symbolized by the Mississippi River that flows through Bemidji not far from the headwaters. The decrees at the headwaters had been made in earlier years (April 2007 and July 2010), but the flow of the Spirit had been constricted at the “neck” represented by Bemidji. Our work was to release that constriction in order to allow the streams of water to flow that would result in the outpouring of the Spirit.
It is now apparent that this work was designed to allow not only the outpouring of the Spirit to proceed, but also to allow Hurricane Sandy to come as the sign of this “baptism” of water and fire.
Even before doing this Bemidji work, we came to see that a second work of repairing the breach would have to be done later in a 52-day cycle from October 8 to November 30, 2012.
The parallel between these two repair jobs is seen in the similarity of each starting point. The first cycle started on July 22, or 7/22, which, on the Hebrew calendar, is the eighth day of Tabernacles. In other words, the work began on 7/22 of our own modern calendar, but the 22nd day of the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar is always the 8th day of Tabernacles.
For this reason, every year on July 22, we watch for signs of the 8th of Tabernacles, because it is a parallel time. The second 52-day cycle of repairing the breach, we realized, was to begin on the ACTUAL 8th day of Tabernacles, October 8, 2012.
There are at least two distinct prophetic works to be done on November 30. The first will be done near the town of Hibbing, Minnesota. The second will be done in Irving, Texas, which is a suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth. I will be at the Texas location, because the church there is hosting a conference at that time.
It is too early to know precisely how we will be led, but I know that the work of repairing the breach will be completed. And this time the double witness will “establish” it in the earth.
Will this be good news or bad? That depends on your citizenship. If you identify with Babylon and the rebellious portion of the church, then it will be bad news until you repent. But if you identify with the New Jerusalem and the lawfully-compliant portion of the church, then you have every right to avail yourself of divine protection and His provision during the time ahead.
The wall symbolizes the law in Scripture. Walls form a boundary around a city, even as the law forms a moral boundary around the City of God. The law also serves to restrict access to the New Jerusalem, so that the unclean cannot enter.
Entrance must be through one of the gates, which represent one of the tribes of Israel (Rev. 21:12). Each of the 12 tribes represents spiritually a different calling in the body of Christ. Yet all of these require men to enter at the Door of Christ, though there are different expressions of this Door. Jesus said in John 10:1,
1 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.
Walls are designed to bring stability, structure, and protection. They do not restrict the citizens of the Kingdom, but the unbelievers who would try to infiltrate and act like citizens apart from faith in Christ.
When Israel became lawless, their spiritual walls crumbled, allowing a spiritual invasion of false gods to enter the country. This happened in America, too, back in 1981, an event which activated the Net of Prayer and eventually called me too into spiritual warfare.
Over the years, we worked little by little to repair the breach in the walls. But in 2012 it appears that we are seeing the final work being completed in two cycles of 52 days each.
God destroyed the walls of the old Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah, in response to the lawlessness of the people of Judah. The prophet writes in Lam. 2:8 and 9,
8 The Lord determined to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion… 9 Her gates have sunk into the ground, He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations; the law is no more….
The biblical reason for such destruction is consistent throughout the Scripture. It is always lawlessness, which not only rejects the law, but also the Lawgiver, Jesus Christ. America, along with the rest of the world, now faces the same dilemma, whether they will continue to deny the right of Jesus Christ to rule all nations, or if they will repent and crown Him as their King.
It has been my particular calling to study the law and to search out the reasons for America’s slide into oblivion, not to watch an inevitable destruction, but to pray and intercede for all nations to repent and end this madness.
To that end, I have written and spoken much to show the mind of Christ through the revelation of the law. My main purpose is to show that the law is not something to be shunned or feared, but a revelation to be understood through New Covenant eyes and embraced as truth.
Hence, in these final two cycles of repairing the breach this year, each has been given a final “stone” of law that repairs the breach. The first one, given as I was driving to Bemidji in September, is the Law of Victims’ Rights. For this reason, I wrote about this law in the November FFI and taught it in greater detail at the St. Louis conference in early October.
The second 52-day repair cycle, which we are now finishing, has its own “stone” of the law that must also be laid to complete this repair of the breach. It is the Law of Impartial Justice.
This is the law that allows us to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to the whole world without restricting the Kingdom of God by man-made denominational walls. We must see that God is not only the God of Israel but also the God of the whole earth (Isaiah 54:5). We must understand that God is interested in claiming His entire creation, and not only a small portion of it.
The law itself makes this very clear, calling Israel a kingdom of priests. Exodus 19:5 and 6 says,
5 … for all the earth is Mine; 6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…
A priest represents others to God and represents God to others. He is an intercessor and a mediator between God and man. In this case, Israel was called to be a holy nation set apart to represent God to the other nations of the world. It did not mean that holiness was restricted to Israel, nor did it mean that the law was to be learned and practiced by Israelites only.
In Moses’ day there was a “mixed multitude” that came out of Egypt with the Israelites (Exodus 12:38). They were expected to comply with the laws of the nation as much as Israel was to do. Likewise, the laws applied equally to all of them, regardless of their genetic or ethnic background. Numbers 15:15 and 16 tells us,
15 As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before the Lord. 16 There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.
There are no double standards in the Kingdom of God. The law forbids it. Any foreigner who wanted to join himself by covenant to Israel’s God was welcomed by God, if not by men (Isaiah 56:6-8). The temple was to be a house of prayer for ALL people, not just Israelites.
Israelites were commanded in the law to love the foreigners as themselves (Lev. 19:34). This law was an innovation of the New Covenant, but was foundational to the whole plan of God from the beginning.
