Thirty Years of Prophecy: 1994-2024

We are approaching a climax in history. However, every climax is simply the result of a buildup of prior events. In this case, 2024 is the climax of the past 30 years of prophetic events since 1994.

The Number 70

In more long-term history, 2024 is the climax of a period of 70 Jubilees since Joshua led Israel across the Jordan River. The number 70 is significant in at least two ways, one positive and the other negative. Seventy is a number that points to the restoration of all things. Seventy is also the number of nations that originated with Noah’s sons in Genesis 10. Putting together these two concepts, seventy signifies the restoration of the nations.

This is important because it is tied to the Abrahamic calling which is to be a blessing to all nations. In other words, the sons of Abraham—those who have New Covenant faith—are the ones called to be a blessing to the nations in their work of building the Kingdom of God.

On the negative side, 70 is also a number associated with the captivity of Jerusalem from 604-534 B.C., which we know as the Babylonian captivity (Jer. 29:10). Yet even this is only a short-term negativity, because the judgments of God are corrective in nature, designed to bring repentance so that the people or nation may be restored.

For this reason, Acts 3:25, 26 defines the blessing of Abraham in terms of “turning every one of you from your wicked ways.” In other words, we fulfill our calling as the children of Abraham by causing the people to repent. This is accomplished by making known to them the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since it has now been 70 Jubilees since the Jordan crossing, we see that we are now crossing into the Kingdom on an entirely new level. The main difference between the time of Joshua and now is that we are coming into the Kingdom under a New Covenant anointing, which is based on the promise of God. Our “sword” is the word of God, not a physical sword. Our warfare is not carnal but is mighty to the pulling down of spiritual strongholds (2 Cor. 10:4).

The Canaanites and the Nations

In the days of Joshua, few Canaanites submitted to Joshua (the type of Christ), and so the solution was to kill them with their Old Covenant sword. Today, the nations will submit to Jesus, the modern “Joshua,” because we will see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will accomplish this task. The gospel will go forth in power and will cause the nations to turn to Christ with joy and gladness, not by force of arms or by compulsion.

We see, then, how the various Canaanite nations in the days of Joshua were types and shadows of the nations in the world today. Whereas Zionism has been a carnal attempt, by Old Covenant thinking, to conquer the old land by military might, our New Covenant conquest is better known as Sionism. Mount Sion is Mount Hermon (Deut. 4:48), and this is the mount near Caesarea Philippi (Matt. 16:13) where Peter gave his famous confession of faith and from where Jesus went up the mount and was transfigured. It is also where the voice from heaven pronounced Him to be “My beloved Son” (Matt. 17:5).

Mount Sion, spiritually speaking, is the place where the sons of God are gathered around Christ. Hence, we are not Old Covenant Zionists but New Covenant Sionists.

The Year 1993

The Age of Pentecost extended 40 Jubilees from 33-1993 A.D. This age was forecasted by the reign of King Saul, who was a type of the church and of the Pentecostal Age. We read in 1 Sam. 12:17 that Samuel began his speech at the coronation of Saul with the words, “Is it not wheat harvest this day?” The day of wheat harvest was the feast of Weeks, later known by the Greek name, Pentecost. It was the time of the new meal offering of wheat.

This made Saul a type of Pentecostal, and his authority, though legitimate, was temporary. Just as his kingdom was characterized by rebellion and religious zeal, so also has it been in the church during the Pentecostal age. As for timing, Saul reigned 40 years; the church was given 40 Jubilees.

The feast of Pentecost, then, had authority to bring righteousness to the earth for 40 Jubilees, but its rulers failed to fulfill this calling. Their time ended in 1993, and then there was a shift in authority from Saul to David, or from the church as a whole to the overcomers.

The Pentecostal age ended in 1993, and we entered into a transition into the Tabernacles Age. This age brings with it a greater anointing, comparable to the increased anointing from Saul to David.

In 1993 our revelation was yet incomplete. We did not know how long this transition would be. We could see only seven years in advance to the year 2000. Yet we were led to hold the Jubilee Prayer Campaign from Nov. 21-29, 1993 for the purpose of overthrowing Babylon and declaring a Jubilee over the earth.

God also revealed that we were seeing a secondary fulfillment of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 4. He dreamed of a mighty tree which the “watchers” ordered to be defoliated and cut down, leaving a stump out of which the same tree would sprout and grow again. Then at the end of the age, this same tree was to be defoliated and cut down with a lower cut that would not allow the tree to grow again.

In Daniel’s day, this dream was fulfilled exactly 12 months later (Dan. 4:29-31). We understood from this that we ourselves would see the Babylonian tree defoliated and cut down 12 months later on Nov. 29, 1994.

The Year 1994

1994 was a midterm election year in America. I was living in Washington state at the time, where Senator Tom Foley’s re-election was opposed by George Nethercutt. Foley was the Speaker of the House as well. There was talk about “de-Foley-ating Washington.” When I heard this on the radio, I knew instantly that Foley was a prophetic representation of the Babylonian tree that was about to be defoliated and cut down by George Nethercutt (“a lower cut”).

Foley did indeed lose the election in early November. A few weeks later, on November 29, 1994, the House passed the GATT Treaty, which was the precursor of the World Trade Organization. After the bill passed, the Speaker of the House, Tom Foley, gave a speech about how great was their accomplishment, and then he resigned from the Senate.

This took place 12 months after Nov. 29, 1993. Just as King Nebuchadnezzar bragged about his accomplishments, so also did Tom Foley. This was the sign that our Jubilee petition 12 months earlier had been answered in the divine court. We won our case 30 years ago next month.

The Number 30

The number thirty in Hebrew was written as the letter lamed, which is literally an ox goad or staff. Thus, it was a symbol of authority, leadership, or rulership. Hence, the number 30 is the biblical number for Dedication for Rulership.

Joseph was 30 when he became ruler in Egypt (Gen. 41:46). David was 30 when he began to rule Judah (2 Sam. 5:4). Priests too were given full authority at the age of 30 (Num. 4:23). So also both John and Jesus began their ministries at the age of 30 (Luke 3:23).

Therefore, if we consider the idea that Saul’s death, prophetically speaking, occurred in 1993 and that the end of his reign marked the birth of the next age (Tabernacles), then we might say that David turned 30 last year in 2023.

But since there was a 12 month cycle from 1993-1994 to manifest the Jubilee Prayer Campaign, we could extend this to David as well, bringing us to 2024. When we look at the events from Oct. 7, 2023 to today, a year later, we can see that our prayer to overthrow Babylon seems to be tied to the Zionist war.

David at the Age of 30

The earthly Jerusalem appears to be the head of Babylon today. This is not surprising, since there has been talk for many decades about a world government of antichrist being set up with Jerusalem as its capital. Paul tells us that the earthly Jerusalem is “Hagar” and corresponds to Mount Sinai, the center of Old Covenant authority (Gal. 4:25).

Again, Rev. 11:8 identifies Jerusalem as “Sodom and Egypt,” Sodom for its moral corruption and Egypt for its oppressive government that fails to bless all nations—especially its neighbors.

The Zionist state, then, with its capital being Sodom and Egypt, is also Babylon, a type of world government that is oppressive and ungodly in God’s eyes.

It is of interest to us, then, that 30 years after 1993-1994 we see the true heart and nature of Zionism displayed in the news. The entire world sees its genocide and ethnic cleansing, while the American news media tries hard to hide this, downplay it, or even justify it. Even many in the church, primarily Christian Zionists, rejoice over this great slaughter as if they were Old Covenant believers living in the days of Joshua.

They seem to have no knowledge of the love of Christ, and they certainly have failed to see how Jesus befriended and blessed the Samaritans, Phoenicians, Greeks, and Romans. Those that the Jews normally hated, Jesus loved. Abraham’s true children, New Covenant believers today, will follow Jesus’ example in regard to the Palestinians who have been dispossessed and oppressed for 76 years.

The prophetic rise of the house of David began with the death of Saul on the day of Pentecost, May 30, 1993. This was the 40th Jubilee of the age of Pentecost, beginning with that day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1 in 33 A.D.

Once we made that connection, we saw from 2 Sam. 5:5 that David received authority in two stages. He reigned over Judah for 7½ years in Hebron and then was crowned king over all Israel. We noted that 7½ years from May 30, 1993 was Nov. 30, 2000, so this became an early watch date.

At the same time, we took note that the Jubilee Prayer Campaign involved the fall of the prophetic tree of Babylon which was manifested by King Nebuchadnezzar’s “seven periods of time” (Dan. 4:32) during which he would be insane. This 7-year period was Nov. 29, 1993 to Nov. 29, 2000.

So Nov. 29 and 30, 2000 were both important endpoints from different directions. As it turned out, a friend from Wisconsin invited us to her prophetic meetings that were to be held from Nov. 28-30, 2000. It turned out that we held prayerful discussions on Nov. 28; we prayed to overthrow the earthly Jerusalem on Nov. 29; and we established and declared the heavenly Jerusalem to be the capital of the Kingdom on Nov. 30.

We noted that shortly after David was crowned king over Israel, his first act was to conquer Jerusalem (2 Sam. 5:7). This became our pattern in the year 2000, and this was the conclusion of the rise of the house of David.

The Rise of Joseph

Our next revelation was that “Joseph” had to rise up as well in order to prepare the way for the Kingdom. This revelation began in January of 2001, resulting in another series of prayer battles.

The importance of Joseph is seen in Jacob’s prophecy about Judah in Gen. 49:10,

10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

This is a messianic prophecy, but it shows that the scepter was to remain with Judah only until Shiloh comes. That means it was to be temporarily given to Judah. Judah’s calling ended with the coming of the Messiah, for He was the “Shiloh” of prophecy. Once Jesus arrived, the scepter was to be given to Him.

However, Jesus came the first time of Judah, so if He had been given the scepter at that time, then Judah’s possession of the scepter would have been permanent. Hence, Jesus was denied the scepter at His first appearance, but He will receive it at His second coming, when He comes as Joseph.

We know this because Rev. 19:13 speaks of His coming by telling us,

13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God.

There is only one man in Scripture whose robe was dipped in blood. Gen. 37:31 says,

31 So they took Joseph’s tunic and slaughtered a male goat and dipped the tunic in the blood.

The law also prophesies of the two comings of Christ, including the law of cleansing lepers in Lev. 14:1-11. A leper who believes that God has healed him was required to go to the priest who was to inspect him to see if it were true. If so, he was to cleanse the leper with two birds (doves). The first was to be killed; the second was to be dipped in the blood of the first bird and released into the open field.

So Christ came the first time to shed His blood on the cross, and Christ will come the second time with His robe dipped in blood.

The first work of Christ was a Judah work; the second work of Christ is a Joseph work. It is in this second work that He is crowned king, and the transfer of the scepter from Judah to Joseph is complete.

Both David and Joseph were types of Christ, but each in a different manifestation of Christ. While Judah was given the scepter, the birthright itself was given to Joseph. So we read in 1 Chron. 5:2,

2 Though Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came the leader, yet the birthright belonged to Joseph.

Jacob had divided the birthright among his sons, giving Judah the scepter and Levi the priesthood. The remaining provision of the birthright was given to Joseph, and this was the right of birth, SONSHIP. Hence, the manifestation of the sons of God comes at the time of the second coming of Christ. This is what all of creation awaits, as Paul tells us in Rom. 8:19,

19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

We are even now the sons of God (1 John 3:2), but we have not yet been revealed, or manifested. As children of God, we are like Christ prior to His transfiguration where He was manifested to the three disciples. We who rally around Christ spiritually at Mount Sion, the mount of His transfiguration, are those that creation awaits.

So from 2001-2009 we prepared the way for Christ’s return by establishing Joseph—combining the ministry of Joseph with that of David. But the work of preparation was not yet finished.

The Rise of Elijah and Elisha

To the ministries of David and Joseph, God added the prophetic ministries of the house of Elijah and Elisha. This began in April 2009. The first half was completed in July 2010; the last half has been delayed until now.

Recall that Elijah represents the prophets even as Moses represents the law. Elijah performed eight miracles; Elisha was given a double portion of Elijah’s anointing, so he performed sixteen miracles, the last one being after his death.

Mal. 4:5 says,

5 Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.

Jesus confirmed that John the Baptist fulfilled this prophecy of Elijah in Matt. 17:12, 13, telling us that Elijah was John the Baptist. John’s calling was to prepare the way for Christ’s first coming. But there is also a preparatory work for Christ’s second coming, and this is done through the double portion anointing of Elisha.

Elisha today is a body of people, I believe, for there are many who are fulfilling the greater work of Elisha. This is an ongoing work to this day, and it will continue until the return of Christ and the manifestation of the sons of God. If there is any further preparation work to be done through some other biblical pattern, it has not been revealed to us.

It seems likely that this Elisha work builds a capacity for the prophetic, even as David gives us the scepter and Joseph gives us the manifestation of the sons of God. With the prophetic, no doubt, brings the outpouring of the Spirit that so many have anticipated and desired to see.

The Outpouring

The last half of Isaiah, from chapter 40 on, speaks of the glory of the heavenly Jerusalem and the wonderful things that will characterize the Kingdom of God during the Tabernacles age. These blessings will be the result of the Spirit of God being poured out upon the earth, as promised by God Himself.

Joel 2:28, 29 prophesied of the day of Pentecost, when the Spirit of God was given to the church. This outpouring was certainly extraordinary and wonderful, but it will be eclipsed by the glory that is to be poured out through the feast of Tabernacles.

Isaiah 32:15-17 says,

15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field is considered as a forest. 16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness will abide in the fertile field. 17 And the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

I expect to see the fulfillment of God’s covenant of miracles which He promised to Moses in Exodus 34:10,

10 Then God said, “Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your people I will perform miracles which have not been produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations, and all the people among whom you live will see the working of the Lord, for it is a fearful thing that I am going to perform with you.”

This promise was given while Moses was in the mount receiving the law on replacement tablets. (He had broken the first tablets when he saw the people worshiping the golden calf.) The first set of tablets represent the law being given through the Old Covenant, which the people broke. The second set of tablets represent the law being written on our hearts through the New Covenant.

The church has claimed to be following the New Covenant and yet they live by Old Covenant principles. It is only at the second coming of Christ that the law will truly be written on the hearts of the church as a whole, because then they will understand the difference between the two covenants.

Hence, the revelation of this covenant of miracles is associated with the second coming of Christ in our time. I believe it will be fulfilled in the coming days.
