We have taken the five ministry gifts (Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, and Apostles) as an outline for the courses of Bible study in this School.
Our purpose is to equip those who are ministering with a knowledge of the Word, so that each will be more effective in fulfilling his or her calling.
Learn MoreMy web log dated Dec. 16, 2005 spoke of Persia and its prophetic involvement in the overthrow of Babylon. Persia is now called Iran, and I have believed for decades that Iran would somehow be a primary factor in the overthrow of modern Mystery Babylon.
Iran's nuclear development has recently come into prominence, and Western objections to that program are now threatening the peace. But there is another factor that is now also emerging. It is Media.
Ancient Persia was not the only nation to overthrow Babylon. It was an alliance between Persia and Media, commonly known as the Medo-Persian Empire. We have long seen the prophetic relationship between the ancient nation of Media and the modern "media" of newspapers, television, etc. Strange as it may sound to those who are unfamiliar with biblical types and shadows.
But is it only coincidental that this past week it is the newspapers that have gotten into trouble with the Islamic people by publishing unflattering cartoons of Mohammed? Most reports are saying that this is a culture clash between the right of free speech and right of religions to be respected. But it is much more than that under the surface.
I do not believe that the publication of these cartoons was either accidental or a mistake. No doubt, most people did not have the foresight to see how it would affect Muslim people--but those at the top DID see it. It is their job to see such things. They are not stupid. Their very position gives them a world view, and they--of all people--are able to see the obvious results of caricaturing Mohammed with a bomb-shaped turban.
The point is that someone wanted to inflame the Muslims. Someone had an agenda. Governmental intelligence agencies find out "who" by asking themselves, "Who benefits from this?" There is only one clear beneficiary in this situation: the Zionists.
When we study Zionist history and how they have worked to drive a wedge between the Islamic East and the Christian West, and how they have marginalized the Palestinians as if they did not exist, but run story after story about Israeli pain and suffering, the situation is clear. They know just the right Islamic "buttons" to push, knowing all their most sensitive spots. All they have to do is push those buttons and watch the Muslims respond violently and thereby alienate the European nations right before their eyes. The plan is working perfectly. The Muslims play right into their hands, and the Christians don't know the difference.
And so, prophetically speaking, Media and Persia have formed an alliance once again to bring the world to the brink of war that will ultimately overthrow the existing New World Order of Mystery Babylon. The Media is doing its part to inflame the Muslims; and Persia is doing its part by seeking nuclear technology that inflames the West.
I would not be surprised to see the guacamole hit the fan on March 24 or 25.
Dr. Stephen Jones has been writing blog posts since 2005 on a variety of topics from Bible Studies to World News, and he has been writing books since 1992. Dr. Jones' most important writings came after God brought him back into the full-time ministry in 1991. It is here that all his earlier years of searching the Scriptures began to come into clear focus. He combines a knowledge of the Old and New Testaments with a personal revelation of God that began and developed during the "wilderness" period of his life, which he often refers to as God's True Bible College...
