View Full Tract ListHere is a good article showing how the current world banking system (i.e., Mystery Babylon) is in conflict with Iran. The issue is primarily that of interest on money, which is prohibited not only in biblical law, but also in Islamic law.

When Iran nationalized the banks in the 1979 revolution that overthrew the Shah, they put Iran and many other Islamists on a collision course with Mystery Babylon that had taken a firm foothold in the West. According to the article, this is the real reason why America has been trying since the 1990's to overthrow Iran's government. This was before there was a nuclear issue at all. The nuclear issue is only a more recent excuse, and it comes in face of clear statements by the experts that Iran is nowhere near developing nuclear weeapons.
Of course, the Israelis have put forth a lot of disinformation in the attempt to demonize Iran and make it look as if they are an immediate nuclear threat. This disinformation is disseminated largely through the churches by pro-Zionist ministers who really do not know what is going on, but who are flattered into thinking that they are getting the "inside scoop." They never suspect that the Israelis might be experts on lying propaganda, just like most governments are.
The real underlying issue is that Iran and other Islamic countries are fighting the world banking system on the grounds that it is based on usury. Their goal is to set up their own monetary system, backed by gold, and supported by oil, which bypasses the 1974 agreement to sell all oil using US dollars. It is really a financial war, or a currency war, but the war is marketed to the public with different issues that people would find more worthy of going to war.
