Prophetic Events of January 17

We have now passed January 17, a date that has a certain history behind it--mostly positive. I talked yesterday afternoon to a friend who gave a good report of revelation that occurred on January 17 and in the three weeks leading up to it. It seems that he was near death in late December, confirming our "death and resurrection" theme.

It was also revealed to him in late December that there was to be a devastating earthquake that would hit shortly, confirming my own discernment. However, he did not know of my postings, because he was too sick to read the blogs.

Then in early January he began studying John G. Lake, something which Phil and I were also doing at the same time while on our Pensacola trip. He then had revelation about faith and victory on January 16/17, which was fulfilled in his own experience.

At the same time, a group of us were at a meeting on Saturday the 16th, where we heard a "basic" teaching on Faith, and that evening (beginning the 17th Hebrew time) came further indications of victory in relation to Babylon (and Iraq). It had to do with the diversion of the Euphrates (current/currency) to prepare the way for the kings of the east to take possession of the City.

That is a very brief summary, as much as I can share for now, but it focused my mind on the history of January 16/17. I do not yet know the full implications of this, as we have not yet seen confirming evidence in the news. But here is the background, and consider the fact that the date of a revelation always has something to do with its fulfillment at a later time . . .

January 17, 1983. I (consciously) joined the Net of Prayer. Of course, God had already joined me to this intercessory group on Nov. 12, 1981, causing great upheavals in my life, but I did not know the source of those upheavals until over a year later. On January 17, 1983, the earthly event caught up with the spiritual. It was the beginning of a new calling on a conscious level.

January 16/17, 1991. Operation Desert Storm begins. It is the start of the Gulf War with the attack on Iraq.

January 17, 1993. U.S. missile attack on Iraqi targets.

January 17, 1994. Los Angeles struck by a 6.6 Richter earthquake at 4:31 a.m.

January 17, 1995. Kobe, Japan struck by a 7.2 Richter earthquake. "Kobe" means "God's Door" or "God's Gate," which is the same meaning as Babylon (i.e., Bab-ili in the ancient language). This occurred 414 days after Nov. 29, 1993 (Jubilee Prayer Campaign against Babylon). We expected to see a quake on this date, but thought it would hit Seattle. We learned later that Kobe had been Seattle's "sister city" for the past 37 years.

January 17, 1996. A pastor friend announces that he and his wife were divorcing.

January 17, 1998. Bert's revelation: "There will be a divorce," and "God has initiated divorce proceedings against the (Hagar) Church and Jews."

January 16, 2009. Citibank splits into 3 parts (like Babylon "the great city" in Rev. 16:16): Smith Barney, Good Bank, and Toxic Bank.

In viewing all of these events as a whole, it is apparent that this date has much to do with Mystery Babylon and its overthrow. The "victory" discerned on this date this year (2010) seems to tie this to the New Year's declaration from Rev. 11:15, "The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ . . ."

I don't want to make this more complex than it should be, but you should also know that January 17 is connected to Nov. 29 by the 414-day time cycle. And so we could connect the two dates to see a progression of events dealing with divine judgment.

For example, when we did our Jubilee Prayer Campaign with the decree against Babylon on Nov. 29, 1993, the one city on earth whose name meant the same as Babylon was struck by a 7.2 earthquake exactly 414 days later. This was foreshadowed a year earlier by the L.A. quake (1994). In the present cycle, we see this:

Nov. 29, 2008. Pastor Robert Schuller, Jr. resigns from the Crystal Cathedral (a type of divorce).
Jan. 17, 2010. "Victory"

And because this is a 414-day cycle, it implies another watch date 76 days later, which would bring it to 490 days ("Blessed Time"). April 2, 2010 is the 490th day of this cycle. This is Good Friday, the start of the Passover conference in Manassas, VA. The signs are good so far, and by knowing the time cycle in which this conference is to be held, we have some idea how to be watchful as Jesus said to be.
