Dear Kingdom Saints,
My heart is filled with expectancy at what God is about to do at this conference in San Francisco. I asked Dr. Jones if I could write a quick note to the saints who are coming.
The reason for this is quite simple. It is a plea, an exhortation for all who are coming to come HUNGRY and THIRSTY. We are gathering for a MANIFESTATION of God's Glory. We are not gathering to hear principles, doctrines, and definitely not me (Vinnie Imperial).
There must be a desperation within us to experience what God deeply desires to pour out. There are many divine kingdom paradoxes. His salvation is free, but to see HIS Glory will cost you everything and yet that has already been paid for in the precious blood of the Lamb. His death, burial and resurrection rent the veil to give us access into the most holy place (His glory).
Isa 55:1. "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."
Isa 55:2. "Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness."
Psa 42:1. "To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
Psa 42:2. "My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God."
Mat 5:6. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
Mat 5:8. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."
Heb 11:6. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Now we know over the years how the above verse has been manipulated and applied in the flesh by some. But look WHO our reward is below.
Gen 15:1. "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
The Lord gave me a revelation years ago concerning the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. There are a few symbols for the Holy Spirit, namely wind, fire and water. Now, the Holy Spirit is a person, but we are talking about the magnitude of glory and presence available.
You can have a breath or a tornado. You can experience a pilot light on a stove or a towering inferno. You can experience a trickle of a faucet or Niagara Falls. Although we can never manipulate God into the way He manifests His presence or glory, our hunger and faith have a large part to play.
God is omnipresent, but He manifests His presence, His glory to his hungry and thirsty children.
Please come hungry, thirsty and expecting a mighty move of God.
Can't wait to see you...........................and HIM!
Vinnie
