We have taken the five ministry gifts (Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, and Apostles) as an outline for the courses of Bible study in this School.
Our purpose is to equip those who are ministering with a knowledge of the Word, so that each will be more effective in fulfilling his or her calling.
Learn MoreIn discussing the word and revelation of the Second Passover this week end, it seems to be getting clearer that the 9th sign of Elisha (dinar revaluation) will probably occur at the end of May, rather than today.
Today is the wave-sheaf offering for the Second Passover, so it has been the logical time to watch, since Elisha's 9th sign occurred at the time of the firstfruits of barley.
However, in studying Hezekiah's Second Passover in 1 Chronicles 30, it is clear that the people held a double celebration of Unleavened Bread. This means they kept the feast for a full TWO WEEKS, rather than just the usual one week.
The first week of Unleavened Bread started on May 19, ending May 25. The second week
The second week will end June 1. Sunday, May 29 would logically be the second wave-sheaf offering for the second week of Unleavened Bread. So we are hoping for May 29 to June 1 as the best possibilities. If it does not come by then, we may have to wait another year for the same feast days. That does not seem likely.
Another way of looking at it is by counting the days between Elisha's 8th sign and his 9th sign. The 8th sign (Gulf oil being capped) had two main dates associated with it. On July 9, 2010 we cast barley meal into the headwaters of the Mississippi river, even as Elisha put barley meal into the pot of poisonous meal ("death in the pot"). The oil spill was then capped 144 hours later (i.e. 6 days) on July 15.
The Remnant number in Scripture is 318, as portrayed in Gen. 14:14 as the number of men in Abraham's house who freed Lot from the kings of Shinar (Babylon).
The 318th day from July 9 is May 22.
The 318th day from July 15 is May 28.
If we count the days exclusively, they come out to May 23 and May 29.
So by this we see the possibility that the numbers point to May 28, 29. The date of May 28 has always been important to us, being 5/28. The number 528 is the number of "key" (as in the Key of David). The Hebrew word for "key" has a numeric value of 528. The story of the Key of David is told in Isaiah 22, when Shebna is replaced by Eliakim as the king's treasurer.
May 28, 1991 was the date that we were led to establish the "new net of prayer," which is the prophetic name of our ministry, given in July 1986.
May 30, 1993 is the 18th anniversary of the death of prophetic King Saul, i.e., the Age of Pentecost. Eighteen is the number of bondage in Scripture, so May 30, 2011 may see the end of "bondage" in some manner.
These are possible things to consider in the watch dates next week. If nothing happens, then I will have to try to reorient my thinking (if possible) toward next year.
Dr. Stephen Jones has been writing blog posts since 2005 on a variety of topics from Bible Studies to World News, and he has been writing books since 1992. Dr. Jones' most important writings came after God brought him back into the full-time ministry in 1991. It is here that all his earlier years of searching the Scriptures began to come into clear focus. He combines a knowledge of the Old and New Testaments with a personal revelation of God that began and developed during the "wilderness" period of his life, which he often refers to as God's True Bible College...
