Prophetic Updates and Trip Report

We arrived home on New Year's Eve.

I did not mean to be mysterious about this trip, but since my entire family was going to be gone, I did not want to advertise to potential thieves. We did have Ron and Pauline stay at our house while we were gone, but it is best to avoid trouble.

This was a trip that we had been planning since 2010. Our six children wanted to take us on a Caribbean cruise for our 40th wedding anniversary in 2011, but when Audra got pregnant, we had to cancel those plans. Zayne was born December 1, 2011 and is now two years old. A year ago everyone decided to plan again for this trip. Audra again got pregnant, but she was only 3 months along at the time of the trip, so this did not interfere with the plans.

So all of our children, their spouses, and their children took a vacation with us on the Norwegian Jewel, which left New Orleans December 22 and returned December 29. We visited Cozumel (Mexico), Belize City, Roatan  (Honduras), and Costa Maya (Mexico). The highlight for me (other than the family reunion) was seeing some Mayan ruins of Kohunlich, from the early sixth century. Kohunlich was a city about 20 miles wide and 30 miles long, but we could only see the town center with the king's palace, the temple, plaza, the stadium, and a some of the nearly mansions now in ruins. The streets had been paved with smooth stucco at one time, but even with the stucco long gone, we could still walk on the rough stone pavement.

We did a little prayer work in the divine court to cleanse the temple, in accordance with the theme of my latest FFI for January. It is now posted on the web site, and I will be picking the paper copy from the print shop today. I wrote it before we left on the trip, and they printed it while we were gone. It will be a few days late, but we will get it out as quickly as possible.

Ron reminded me that this was a classic theme of Jonas going to Nineveh, "that great city," as President Bush called it when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans a few years ago. Parts of New Orleans are situated below sea level, and Nineveh means "City of Fish." The trip suggested revelation about being "fishers of men" and the "new net of prayer."

When we first moved to Minneapolis, my office was in the basement of a strip mall, and above me was a computer software company called "Network Inc". One day as Ron paid me a visit, it occurred to him that I was "Steve Jonas" in the belly of the whale, but the "net" was above me. He said that when I came up out of the basement, it would indicate the end of the first sign of Jonah and the start of the second call to preach the word in Nineveh.

I came up about 7 years ago, moving to an office space on the street level. Now this past week I went to Nineveh (New Orleans) to indicate the start of the second work, i.e., the Open Door Ministry, designed to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to other parts of the world. Hence, the cruise to three foreign countries was a type of things to come.

As I said, we returned on New Year's Eve about 4:00 p.m., and I went to Brother David's church that evening to share at a New Year's meeting. Two others shared as well, finishing up just after midnight. As usual, I was on alert for prophetic insights to understand what the Father was revealing in regard to our trip. Kathy spoke prophetically, telling us that God had given her the number 316. She related it to Malachi 3:16,

¹⁶ Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name. ¹⁷ "And they will be Mine," says the Lord of Hosts, "on the day that I prepare My own possession [segulla, "possession, private property, peculiar treasure." KJV = "jewels"], and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him." ¹⁸ So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.

After Kathy's teaching, Glenn prophetically gave spiritual gifts to those in attendance. To some he gave a spiritual sword, and various other gifts. To me he gave a jewel, and this was confirmed soon afterward by a ten-year-old budding prophetess who was also at the meeting (for the first time). It then occurred to me that this was why we had boarded the Norwegian Jewel on the trip last week. I had taken note of the ship's name and even thought it might be related to Malachi 3:17, but had no confirmation of this, so I said nothing. But after Glenn's prophetic act, I looked up Malachi 3:16-18 with new eyes.

The message was that God was in the process of distinguishing between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. There were jewels and counterfeit jewels, but God was separating and sorting them out, picking out the real jewels as His peculiar treasure. These are the ones who are written in the "book of remembrance" in Malachi 3:16.

All of this is in preparation for the transfer of jurisdiction from the kingdoms of this world to the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:27), as we come to the end of Babylon's 2,520 year mandate to rule the earth. (See the January FFI.)

To put all of this in better perspective, I should remind you of the events beginning in the summer of 2012, when we did a Nehemiah project of rebuilding the wall around New Jerusalem. The "wall" is the law, as I explained at that time. This was a 52-day project in two steps:

1. July 22 to Sept. 12, 2012, in which the law ("stone") was the Law of Victims Rights.

2. October 8 to November 29, 2012, in which the law ("stone") was the Law of Impartiality.

These were two important laws that God had us place in the "wall," telling us that they were the missing "stones" that had been lost or rejected by most people.

A year later, in October of 2013 we saw the "Call to the Wall" in which I was commissioned to go on the trip to the Philippines in November. The wall was completed, and now the time was coming wherein we were to do the actual work of the Open Door Ministry. Not only did we go to the Philippines in November, but then we went to Central America on the Norwegian Jewel in late December.

When we returned, I began to assess the meaning of the trip and the revelation accompanying it. Last night as Darla and I prayed, the Lord spoke and told us that there was resistance to the Open Door Ministry, and that we were to hold a prayer campaign on January 7-11 called "Overcoming Resistance Prayer Campaign." This morning as I checked my emails, I heard from a friend from the Far East who informed me of resistance to the divine plan regarding the Kings of the East. He appealed to us for prayer, so that the Kingdom of God might be preached to the whole world without resistance.

Well, that certainly confirmed the word we had received last night.

So we are again preparing for a prayer campaign next week. No doubt I will be led to write a model prayer to unify our prayers in a cohesive manner. Stay tuned, and check these weblogs daily if you can.

The current time cycle that we are in began with my green juice fast on November 6-13, 2012. It ends on January 30, 2014, but will probably phase out more fully 76 days later on April 15. These dates coincide with the two 76-day cycles at the start of this current Prophetic Year:

Nov. 14 to Jan. 30
Jan. 30 to April 15

In mid-December the Lord told me to go on another green juice fast in January. He gave no details at that time, so I was content to wait until the first of the year to learn more about this. When He then revealed that we were to engage in spiritual warfare on Jan. 7-11, it became clear that I was to do the green juice fast during this prayer campaign. In a way, we might view these two juice fasts as book ends of a 14-month time frame.
