On September 18, I wrote in part 1 about the sign in the heavens that was to be seen today, as Virgo gives birth to Jupiter.
Some are putting out videos and articles predicting the end of the world. Another says that we will have 3 hours of darkness in the early afternoon, much like what happened when Jesus was crucified. Others are predicting war and all sorts of bad news.
Well, so far the world has not ended, and as for the 3 hours of darkness, I am not sure what part of the world he was talking about. If the darkness is supposed to happen in Jerusalem, it has not yet hit the mainstream news. Don’t hold your breath waiting for it. Today’s sign is not a parallel to Jesus’ crucifixion, but to His birth. Jupiter was the “star” that the wise men followed to Jerusalem. After talking to Herod, that evening they saw Jupiter hanging over Bethlehem on the evening of December 24/25 of 2 B.C. They had the insight to go to Bethlehem, and there they found Jesus.
By that time Jesus was 3 months old, and He was no longer in the stable, but at someone’s “house” (Matthew 2:11). Joseph and Mary were probably still holding Bible studies with the shepherds and local folk to search for evidence of fulfilled prophecy. But that night everyone was warned in a dream to escape from Herod, so Joseph and Mary made a quick trip to Egypt. Thus, Jesus found protection in Egypt at the age of 3 months, just like Moses found protection in the house of Pharaoh in Egypt (Exodus 2:2).
So it seems significant that this week we would see hurricanes Jose and Maria (Joseph and Mary) hitting the area. No one wanted to welcome them to their homes after they had traveled such a distance over the Atlantic. The mighty rushing wind (Acts 2:2) is just too devastating to our normal way of life. The chaos made it difficult for anyone to discern that the manchild (in the form of Jupiter) was about to be born. So who in their right minds would welcome such hurricanes—or even to see them as positive signs?
Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico on September 20, which was our watch date given on July 29.
September 20 is 1480 days since Pope Francis’ Motu Proprio came into effect (Sept. 1, 2013), removing certain protections from corporations, including corporate governments. This was an action coming from the Vatican. The USA corporation and the IRS corporation, both privately owned, though masquerading as publicly owned, are registered in Puerto Rico. They must be registered in a territory, because they are not part of the original “united States of America” that was declared on July 4, 1776. It would be illegal for the IRS to be headquartered in an American state.
I believe that this is why Puerto Rico got smashed by Maria, representing the Virgin Mary, 1480 days after the Pope removed corporate protections. As I have shown elsewhere, the time of the “little horn” in Daniel 7:8 is 1480 years.
The number 1480 is the numeric value of Christ in Greek. So Jesus was crucified on the 1480th Passover since Israel’s first Passover in Egypt. In other words, the 1480 years ended with the first work of Christ. Then the little horn arose from 529-537 A.D., when Justinian changed both the calendar and revamped the entire Roman law system, changing it to Church Law, as prophesied in Daniel 7:25. The implications of this were tested in 536-537 A.D., where it became apparent that the emperor had made himself the enforcer of Church Law, and that this made him subservient to the pope. This was the rise of the “little horn,” which lasted until 2017.
The final 1480-DAY period of this 1480-YEAR cycle ended on September 20, 2017, when Hurricane Maria slammed Puerto Rico. As a bankrupt government, Puerto Rico is one more sign of the Babylonian system, at least insofar as our part of the world is concerned. Even its name, Rich Port, seems to coincide with the description of Babylon in Revelation 18:15,
15 The merchants of these things, who become rich from her, will stand at a distance because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning.
The merchants of the sea mourn because Babylon has become bankrupt. Puerto Rico filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy a few months ago on May 3, 2017.
So the signs are increasingly evident to those with eyes to see. We are seeing signs of bankruptcy for Babylon and the birth of the Body of Christ in 2017. Remember what I told you at our Tabernacles conference in 2014, how we had entered into a 3-year cycle toward the fall of Babylon. The signs in 2014 told us that we were to declare (legally) the transfer of authority from the little horn to the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:21, 22).
We did this on October 12 on the last day of our conference, and made it effective on October 16, which was the 8th day of Tabernacles in 2014. Now, three years later, we see that the 8th day of Tabernacles is on October 12—the anniversary of our declaration in 2014. Furthermore, we are holding this year’s Tabernacles conference on October 13-15, precisely in the middle of the dates established in 2014, between October 12 and 16.
It’s downright uncanny.
There is so much to know from both the Scriptures and from history in order to interpret modern events and the signs of the times. Many of you have done your homework as you have followed along on the weblogs and have read the books. My commentary on Daniel, of course, is the basic course of study to know the divine plan. My commentary on Revelation can be thought of as Daniel: Part 2.
Daniel focuses mainly on the first half of the “seven times” cycle of divine judgment upon Jerusalem—that is, the first 1,260 years. John focuses mainly on the last half of this “seven times” cycle in the book of Revelation. Together, they give you a rather complete picture of the history of the long-term captivity (“tribulation,” as some would call it) to the four beasts of Daniel 7, along with their extensions (“horns”).
Without knowing this history, it is more difficult to understand what is happening today. We can only understand events today by knowing our context and how we are at the end of many long-term time cycles of divine judgment that began when Jerusalem was given into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar (Jeremiah 27:6). Not only Babylon, but then Persia, Greece, and Rome were also allowed to extend the tribulation up to the present time.
Without understanding history and prophecy, many think that the tribulation is yet to come. Well, if tribulation means difficult times as Babylon falls, then, yes, that is yet to come. But most think that we have yet to see the rise of Babylon in the future. No, Babylon has already risen, but it was a secret kingdom (Mystery Babylon). Those who discovered the secretive nature of Mystery Babylon and how it was set up in 1913-1914 with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act, can look forward to the fall of Babylon, not its rise.
The very nature of Mystery Babylon as a secret, hidden kingdom that rules most of the nations of the world through the power of its money is largely hidden from the church, even from its prophets. It had to be so, because if the prophets had known about it, Babylon could not have long remained a “mystery.” It has been revealed only to a few—in order to empower them to engage Mystery Babylon in spiritual warfare at the appointed times.
Our warfare is now nearly complete. We have been engaging in spiritual warfare against Mystery Babylon ever since November 1993.
Then on September 23, 1996 we were led to declare the 120th Jubilee from Adam on that Day of Atonement in 1996. If you recall, the actual 120th Jubilee was supposed to be declared ten years earlier on October 13, 1986 (Day of Atonement). But no one knew to do that, for it had not been revealed. So God arranged to have us do it ten years later, and then to make it retroactive by turning the clock back ten years. This is what we call the Hezekiah Factor, which I have written about extensively since 1992.
The point is, I find it more than coincidental that the sign of the Virgin giving birth to Jupiter (the King) is culminating on September 23, 2017, which is the 21st anniversary of our Jubilee declaration in 1996. The number 21 is the biblical number of “distress,” and it is associated with the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7 KJV). Jacob had two times of “trouble,” each lasting 21 years. The House of Israel later had two parallel times of trouble, each lasting 210 years. I discussed this in my book, Secrets of Time, chapter 14.
It appears that in some manner the 21 years of “Jacob’s trouble” are fulfilled from 1996-2017, beginning and ending on September 23. It can be viewed as birth pangs toward the birth of the Body of Christ that is pictured in the sign given to us today. So regardless of how small this new birth (beginning) seems, I believe that over time, it will prove to be highly significant.
Most important, it should be viewed as a sign of good things to come for the overcomers and for the Kingdom of God. If anyone thinks it is the end of the world, he is speaking from the Babylonian viewpoint only, and we should consider them to be spokesmen for Babylon, called to give us revelation about Babylon’s condition. What is bad for Babylon is good for the Kingdom.
I have seen this happen many times over the years. In fact, many of you have heard me describe spiritual warfare as: “We stick our sword into the haystack and see who yells OUCH!” When we have gone into spiritual warfare, we have often seen people react to the warfare negatively. They seldom know what they are doing, because they are blinded to the real situation. Nonetheless, there are many spokesmen for the other side, and God raises them up in order to give us insight into the battle—and often to let us know that we are winning. You just have to know whose side they are on and which viewpoint they are presenting.
Some day it will be fun writing Part 2 of The Wars of the Lord. Part 1 ended in September of 2008. Much has happened since then.
By the way, Secrets of Time gives you the long-term history from Adam to the present. The Wars of the Lord gives greater details that cover 1981-2008. The reason I started with 1981 is just because that is when God called me into a life of intercession and spiritual warfare. It is up to others to write about things that God did prior to that. I can only write from my own experience.
One final note… I had thought perhaps we might have to pray for protection from the Red Dragon in Revelation 12:3, who desires to devour the manchild as soon as he is born. However, in praying about it, the Father said that we did this in our prayer campaign on August 23.
We are already seeing signs of the manchild being caught up to heaven. The sign occurred on September 21, which is Rosh Hoshana and the 2016th anniversary of Jesus’ birth. I don’t know how much of that story can be told in a public weblog, but you should know that whatever happens, the Red Dragon will not get his meal. It is our time of victory.
