Day suddenly turned to night around noon on Friday, and for almost three hours locals needed torches to see where they were going.
The area hit by the bizarre darkness now appears more extensive than first reported when it was said to have covered Eveno-Bytantaisky and Zhigansky districts of Russia’s coldest region - Yakutia….
‘People who live here for many years said they had never witnessed anything like this.’
‘The darkness was pitch black.
‘It didn’t come at once, but grew gradually.
‘The Sun was gone from 11.30 until 14.00 on Friday 20 July.'

MY COMMENT:
The event reminds us of the 3-hour darkness when Jesus was crucified (Luke 23:44, 45). However, this occurred on July 20, 2018 in between the events of July 19 and Kevin’s prophecy on July 21.
I mentioned in a previous weblog that July 19 was connected to the fifth sign in the book of John, since it was the fifth day of Tabernacles (in July). Well, July 20 was the sixth day of Tabernacles by the same reckoning, and if we look at the sixth sign in John, we read the story of the man born blind whom Jesus healed (John 9).
Key verses are:
John 9:5. “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
John 9:39. “And Jesus said, ‘For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see; and that those who see may become blind’.”
In other words, the sixth sign is about the removal of the Old Covenant veil. It is about healing the blindness, the veil that is spread over all nations. That also appears to be one of the meanings of the 3 hours of darkness when Jesus was crucified. The negative side of this sign is that it portrays blindness. The positive side of this sign is that it prophesies healing and light, which comes only through Jesus Christ, since He is the Mediator of the New Covenant.
The bottom line is that I take this sign of Siberian darkness not only to portray the existing condition of the nations being veiled but also the soon-coming solution as the Holy Spirit is getting ready to be poured out. In fact, it makes me wonder if this sign is a confirmation of Hudson Taylor’s prophecy about the outpouring of the Spirit in Russia.
