The Deep State's Ukrainian distraction

In February 2014 US president Obama brokered a deal for regime change in the Ukraine. In other words, the US government was involved in a political coup, largely through Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s appointee, Victoria Nuland, who was given a $5 billion budget to get the job done.

On Sunday, in his interview with CNN, Obama admitted that the United States “had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine.”

“Obama’s statement is reiterating something that the world public opinion already knew — the US was involved in the coup of [ex-Ukrainian President] Viktor Yanukovych from the start. History shows us that the US has overthrown numerous governments in Latin America, Asia and Africa and replaced them with leaders that ruled with a fascist ideology that proved useful for Washington’s geopolitical interests,” independent researcher and writer Timothy Alexander Guzman told Sputnik.

Yanukovych’s decision to not sign an association agreement with the European Union in late 2013 triggered a mass wave of protests across Ukraine, culminating in the February 2014 coup. Following the transition of power, Kiev forces launched military operation against those who refused to recognize the legitimacy of the new government.

The Ukrainians, of course, are caught in the crossfire of power politics pitting the US against Russia in order to remain true to the Brzezinski Doctrine of “containing Russia.” In 2014 we engineered another puppet government in Ukraine, one that was beholden to the US government. In those days it was hoped that a new government in Ukraine would restrict Russia’s naval base in the Crimea, because Russia was destroying ISIS that was funded by the CIA, MI6, and the Israeli Mossad.

Crimea was largely populated by ethnic Russians, so it was not long before they voted overwhelmingly to become part of Russia.

The legitimacy of the Ukrainian government is disputed by one side, and the legitimacy of Russia’s claim on the Crimea is disputed by the other side. There has been a virtual civil war within the Ukraine since that time, thanks to the Obama-Clinton policy of interference in foreign elections.

This week the US puppet ruling the Ukraine decided to send a few navy ships to the Crimea to provoke another conflict. Note that Russia was not the one sending ships to a Ukrainian port. When Russia captured those ships, Ukraine’s president cried foul, blaming Russia for attacking Ukraine!

This reaches a whole new level of absolute stupidity, at least on the surface.

Ukraine votes to impose martial law for 30 days amid invasion fears after three of its navy vessels were captured by Russian forces

Ukraine will be placed under martial law tomorrow after warning that Russia had ‘moved to a new stage of aggression’ and could even be planning an invasion.

It followed a dramatic skirmish on Sunday in which Russian warships opened fire on Ukrainian gunboats before special forces seized the vessels and their 24 crew members…

Addressing the nation on television yesterday, Mr Poroshenko said: ‘Russia has been waging a hybrid war against our country for five years. But with an attack on Ukrainian military boats it moved to a new stage of aggression. Reconnaissance data suggest an extremely serious threat of a land-based operation against Ukraine.’

He said enemy forces were ‘ready at any moment for an invasion’ and described Russia as an ‘aggressive, volatile and unpredictable neighbour’.

Really, Mr. Poroshenko? What would the British navy do if Russia sailed three navy ships up the River Thames? What would the US navy do if Russia sailed up the Potomac River? This is such an obvious provocation, and Poroshenko is now begging for assistance from Europe and America! Help! Save me from my stupidity!

The Ukrainian vessels – two gunboats and a tug – were hit on Sunday evening near a newly-built Russian bridge over the Kerch Strait, Moscow’s only land link to Crimea, which it annexed from Ukraine in 2014. Passing under the bridge is the only way Ukrainian ships can sail into the Sea of Azov, which allows access to its ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk. Before the clash, Russia had blocked the route with a tanker.

Russia, of course, saw the Ukrainian ships coming and understood their intentions. So they blocked the Kerch Strait with another ship. Nonetheless, the Ukrainian ships were under orders to proceed, and both the ships and their crewmembers were sacrificed on the altar of politics. Yet somehow Russia being blamed for this in the Deep State media.

It seems that others besides Rahm Emmanuel believe that they should never let a good crisis go to waste. It remains to be seen what will become of this, other than providing a distraction for the Deep State as Loretta Lynch, James Comey, and Hillary Clinton face questioning under oath by House Congressional leaders in the next few weeks.

If the Deep State’s message is to “Back off or we’ll start a war,” it will not succeed. Reports say that Trump, Putin, and Xi have already agreed not to allow the Deep State to start a war between them. Once the truth is exposed on the public record, and the FISA memos are released, the Deep State will lose its power of secrecy, and Mystery Babylon will be much less of a “mystery” than it is today.

Transparency would destroy the Deep State, and that is why the power to classify documents (to hide truth) is essential to their plan. They fear an informed populace. And it appears that America, at least, is approaching the day when the Deep State will no longer be so deep and the shadow government will be forced out of the shadows.
