Cutting down the fruitless tree, part 1

Yesterday afternoon I had a rather intense hour once again, but it was just the first half of a continuing session that we expect to complete today in the early afternoon.

Our meeting was a divine court session, wherein God summoned various spirits to the court for judgment. Each in turn manifested in Sharon, giving us an in-the-world presence of spiritual beings, making it easier to discern—and certainly giving us a visual and audial witness of both the reality of these entities and the effectiveness of our judgment upon them.

All of these entities were on the level of “Prince,” or “Principality,” which is just under the level of “Archprince.” These rule over continents and nations. Lesser entities rule over regions, religious groups, cities, families, and individuals. On the angelic side, the top hierarchy is known as Archangels with Princes under them, proceeding down to various Angels. We learned most of this by revelation in 2001.

These current sessions are uncovering many hidden things in the world and in the church, all of which need to be exposed and cleansed at this time in Kingdom history. The problems all seem to be based on the “spirit of the oath,” which is the Old Covenant oath, although it predates the time of Moses, going back before creation itself.

The spirit of rash vows came to the surface. To understand this, one must study Numbers 30:3, 4, 5 and the entire chapter. Recall that Israel, the Hagar Bride, made a vow that she could not keep. We know it as the Old Covenant. Israel was held to that vow, and in the end she was divorced and sent out of the house (into captivity).

The (NT) church has also followed in Israel’s footsteps, making vows for salvation that she cannot keep—even with the help of the Holy Spirit under Pentecost. It will take a Tabernacles anointing to keep such vows.

We have discussed this in the past, so we must move on.

The spirit of death then manifested before us. It was a powerful spirit but, of course, no match for Jesus in whose name we acted, for we applied the Spirit of Life as the antidote.

The Tree

As the next spirit approached, Sharon saw it coming and discerned “666.” It was very powerful, but we dealt with it with no real problem. Afterward, Sharon discerned “111,” and that is when we identified this spirit as the Kabbalah tree of mystical (occult) Judaism. Then she saw an axe leaning up against a tree and asked if that meant something.

Well, yes, the answer is found in Luke 3:9, where John the Baptist talked about people or nations as “trees” that were supposed to bear fruit. He was talking about the fig tree (Judah).

⁹ And also the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

John had been called to do a “visitation,” that is, a divine investigation into the charges brought against Judah for its lack of fruit. The visitation lasted 4 years, but John investigated for just one year before he was killed. Jesus then continued the “visitation” for another 3 years (Luke 13:6, 7, 8, 9). The visitation ended with His verdict in Matthew 21:19, where He cursed the fig tree for its lack of fruit, saying, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.”

The key revelation we received yesterday was that the fig tree in the New Testament is now pictured by the Kabbalah tree, which is said to be “the soul of Judaism.”

The other day I posted a video describing the dedication of the altar in Jerusalem (December 18). At 5:46 in this video, the narrator describes the Kabbalah tree and shows how it relates to the numbers 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, and 666.

In Matthew 24:32, 33 Jesus prophesied about the cursed fig tree, saying,

³² Now learn the parable from the fig tree; when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; ³³ even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.

Jesus had cursed the fig tree because it had a lot of leaves but no fruit. Fig leaves, of course, have been a problem since Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:7). Fig leaves are no substitute for fruit. Fig leaves represent a false covering for sin, or self-justification which attempts to conceal sin rather than to cover sin by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Judah was thus cursed for its lack of fruit, having refused to repent, as John commanded in Luke 3:8. Yet Jesus also prophesied that this tree would come back to life. Jesus said that it would put forth its leaves. It is most important to note, however, that Jesus said nothing about the fig tree bearing FRUIT. In fact, Jesus had proclaimed prophetically that the fig tree would never bring forth fruit (Matthew 21:19).

The fig tree put forth its leaves in 1948 when the Israeli state was established. Christians then expected it to bring forth fruit within seven years, according to their Dispensationalist view. When the nation did not repent or accept Jesus as the Messiah, they dropped their view of timing but still maintained that the nation will repent at the second coming of Christ.

The problem with this view is that if they repent (as a nation), then Jesus would be proven to be a false prophet. The irony is that if the Jews as a whole accept Jesus as the Messiah, they would be accepting one who prophesied falsely!

Isaiah 27:6 says,

⁶ In the days to come Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and sprout; and they will fill the whole world with fruit.

This has been used to contradict Jesus’ verdict in Matthew 21:19. The apparent contradiction is easily resolved, but not in a way that is acceptable to most evangelical Christians today. The answer is that Israel is not Judah. When Isaiah penned his prophecies, he clearly distinguished between Israel and Judah. Judah held the scepter (Dominion Mandate), while Israel held the birthright (Fruitfulness Mandate).

Isaiah saw Israel destroyed and deported to Assyria (Isaiah 38, 39). When he gave hope to Israel, saying they would again “take root” and “blossom” and “fill the whole world with fruit,” He was not prophesying about Judah. He was affirming that the tribes of Joseph, who held the birthright, would fulfill their destiny (1 Chronicles 5:1, 2 ).

So there is no contradiction between Isaiah 27:6 and Matthew 21:19. Judah did fulfill its calling by bringing forth the chief Ruler, the Messiah, the King. But Judah cannot bring forth fruit unless it has faith in the King and is united with Joseph who has the fruitfulness calling—the calling to bring forth the sons of God.

Those of Judah who placed their faith in the King and were loyal to Him are the ones whom God considered to be the tribe of Judah. Although they were in the minority among biological Jews, Paul tells us clearly in Romans 2:28, 29 who is and who is not a Jew. It is clear that being a Jew (i.e., being of the tribe of Judah) is not biological but legal. Only those whose “praise” is from God are truly of Judah. Judah means “praise.”

Specifically, Paul says, one must adhere to the New Covenant that its Mediator established by His own blood. Outward circumcision is a sign of the Old Covenant; heart circumcision is a sign of the New Covenant. Hence, those who believed in Jesus Christ remained as members of the tribe of Judah; the rest were cut off—or literally, cut themselves off from the tree.

Of course, to that small group of disciples were soon added many others from different nations, but the root of the tree was Jesus Christ and the main trunk was the tribe of Judah. For the next 2,000 years, two groups have been in contention, each claiming to be the real Judah. Is the cursed fig tree the real Judah, or are the believers in Christ Judah?

Today we find ourselves at the end of the age, and the time has come to render the final decree from the divine court, establishing who is and who is not Judah. That is the point of today’s court session, which was revealed in yesterday’s decree of judgment, casting out the Kabbalah tree. Since we have not yet met today, I will have to write about it afterward, perhaps tomorrow.
