View Full Tract ListToday’s weblog on God’s Promise to Ishmael will be posted in two parts. I have had an urgent request to do a book on this topic, because it deals with the current controversy as to who really owns the land of Palestine. So I have been working on this study for the past few days. This is not a new revelation for me; I learned this decades ago through my studies in the divine law. But now, with the start of the war in Gaza, this topic has become very important.
I decided also to leave the chapter headings in the weblogs.
It is now increasingly clear that Edom’s time to hold the birthright is coming to an end. The church remains largely blind, because they have failed to study the history of Edom. One cannot see what is happening apart from knowing the history and prophecies regarding Edom.
Edom has proven itself unworthy, not only to us but, unexpectedly, to the entire world. Right now, the only backer of the Edom is the US government, and even it is divided. The ruling party, the Democrats, are very divided, and so it is not likely that its support can continue much longer.
When Obadiah 7 says to Edom, “all the men allied with you… and the men at peace with you will deceive you and overpower you,” this appears to include the US government itself. In part, the US government cannot simply ignore overwhelming world pressure, and secondly, they are simply running out of money to fund endless wars. The Ukraine war has cost trillions of dollars and has drawn down our military supplies and ammunition to dangerously low levels.
Everyone now knows that the Ukraine war has been lost, so now the funding has shifted toward the new war. Meanwhile, the US now pays a trillion dollars a year just to fund the federal debt. We are fast coming to the end of the road. The beast system of Babylon is collapsing. I see the Kingdom of God arising. So far, only world leaders see it as well, but at some point it will start to appear in the mainstream news.
