Liberation Day

April 2, 2025 was the day that President Trump’s world-wide tariffs took effect. He calls it Liberation Day. Nearly every country imposes tariffs on imported goods, so according to Trump himself, his tariffs are retaliatory—that is, a defense against “unfair” tariffs being imposed on US goods. Hence, if other countries drop their tariffs, so will Trump. The question is whether this will impose genuine “free trade” or just start a trade war.

It is not for me to say whether this tariff policy is good or bad. I see some benefits as well as some bad consequences. My interest is in the long-term result and how it plays into the divine plan to overthrow Mystery Babylon. I have long seen Trump as God’s Demolition Man.

First, he was playing the role of Jehu, the king who destroyed the house of Ahab and Jezebel. That role was largely completed on September 11, 2016, when Hillary-Jezebel was cast down precisely 15 years after the Twin Towers demolition in 2001. She then lost the 2016 election and (I believe) she will never again rise to political office. Bill Clinton, of course, played the role of King Ahab during the 1990’s, as I have shown in past studies.

With the house of Ahab out of the way, Trump is now taking on a secondary role in his second term. It is the role of Perseus, the constellation representing the man with the great club who breaks the power of the sea monster Cetus and sets free Andromeda, the chained woman.

Persia (Iran) is named for Perseus. Daniel 5:25-28 tells us the handwriting on the wall which the prophet interpreted to mean that the Babylonian kingdom was to be divided among the Medes and Persians. This is the meaning of Peres in verse 28. It means “to break in two, divide.”

In Micah’s prophecy of the destruction of the oppressors (i.e., Babylon), he says in Micah 2:13,

¹³ The breaker [peres] goes up before them; they break [peres] out, pass through their gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the Lord at their head.

Ultimately, this prophesied of Christ, the King who leads the people out of captivity. However, God also uses people to fulfill His will rather than appearing personally to do the job. In the days of Daniel, this king was Cyrus the Persian, who acted as a type of Christ (Isaiah 45:1) in overthrowing Babylon. Today, the role of Cyrus, “the breaker,” is being played by Donald Trump the Demolition Man.

Zionists think that this means Trump will save them from the modern Persians (Iranians), and they have minted a silver coin to commemorate this.

The opposite is true, however. Israel is not the biblical Israel, and Trump is called to bring destruction to the state that men call Israel. I do not think that Trump is aware of this. Zionists too are blind. Remember that Cyrus was a Persian and represents Iran today. Trump believes that his mission is to destroy Iran on behalf of the Israelis who are goading him to fight on their behalf. I believe there will indeed be such a war, but the outcome will be unexpected.

The ultimate outcome will be to free the chained woman, the constellation Andromeda. She represents the bondwoman of Galatians 4, who has been chained to a rock and enslaved to the beast that rises from the sea (Revelation 13:1). This beast is described in Revelation 13 as the little horn in Daniel 7. Hence, John refers us back to Daniel’s description of the little horn.

The bondwoman is the collective body of people who are chained to the Old Covenant. She needs deliverance from the little horn, the final manifestation of the beast empires. Christian Zionists have cast their lot with the Jewish Zionists, and both groups have pinned their hopes on the earthly Jerusalem, which Paul calls the bondwoman.

It is my view that the Christian Zionists will not be set free from their bondage until Jerusalem is destroyed as per Jeremiah 19:10, 11. Only then will they be forced to acknowledge their mistake and to seek the truth. They must become children of the free woman through New Covenant faith. They must claim the heavenly Jerusalem as their mother to avoid being “cast out” with her (Galatians 4:30).

God is using Donald Trump to free these Christian Zionists from their blindness and dependence on the earthly Jerusalem which God has condemned to destruction. So even though I disagree with Trump’s support of Netanyahu’s war with Persia, I stand as an observer of prophetic events. My calling is to present the truth and advocate for the heavenly Jerusalem, the free woman, who is represented by the constellation Cassiopeia. She is the crowned woman in Revelation 12, whose son is the inheritor of the promise of God.

The gospel in the stars was the original gospel before the first books of the Bible were written. God set forth the constellations as “signs” (Genesis 1:14). Psalm 147:4 says,

⁴ He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.

Unfortunately, as time passed, men misunderstood the meaning of these names and applied the prophecies of Christ to carnal men who then became known as gods. Nonetheless, there was an original truth in the story told by the constellations, and Scripture has numerous references to this as well. This includes “The Breaker” (Peres, Persia), who speaks of Christ Himself setting the bondwoman-bride free from her chains as a slave to the Babylonian beast from the sea.

Trump’s Liberation Day on April 2, 2025 ought to be viewed prophetically as a starting point in breaking Babylon apart in order to liberate the chained woman. In Revelation 16 we see how the sixth angel pours out his bowl of wine (judgment) upon the Euphrates (“fruitfulness” of the banking system) in order to dry up its liquidity through enormous debts. This prepares the way for the kings from the east (Russia and China and BRICS in general) to overthrow the financial supports propping up the world banking system that keeps the world in debt bondage.

This is the final stage of preparation leading to the great (political/financial) earthquake that breaks Babylon into three main pieces: US, Europe, and BRICS. See Revelation 16:19. Trump’s Liberation Day, I believe, will have that effect, whether men expect it or not.
