When Mike Huckabee was appointed ambassador to Israel, I considered it to be a sign of Trump’s approval of Zionism. It was certainly not in accordance with Kingdom principles. However, recently Huckabee has threatened Netanyahu and the Zionist state for making Christians unwelcome and for refusing visas to Christian groups. He wrote a letter recently, threatening to retaliate in kind by not issuing visas to Israelis wanting to visit the USA.
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has threatened to publicly declare that Israel no longer welcomes Christian groups to Israel over what he said was Jerusalem’s failure to approve tourist visas for evangelical missions.
The threat was issued in a letter that Huckabee sent on Wednesday to Interior Minister Moshe Arbel, which was leaked to Hebrew media on Thursday. Arbel pushed back on the allegations in a response letter that was obtained by The Times of Israel.
Huckabee in his letter threatened to order his embassy to take reciprocal measures against Israeli tourists seeking visas to enter the US.
Given Huckabee’s longstanding support for Israel and close ties with the current government in particular, the rhetoric in his letter represented a shockingly quick deterioration.
But the issue at hand — the ability of Christian groups to tour Israel — is close to Huckabee’s heart, given that he has led countless such trips as an evangelical pastor over the past half a century.
The issue was first discussed on May 27, prior to the Israeli attack on Iran. But Huckabee’s letter apparently was sent in the last week in the wake of an Israeli drone strike against the last remaining Catholic church in Gaza, killing three parishioners and wounding a priest.
An apparent Israeli strike on Gaza’s sole Catholic church killed three people and injured several on Thursday, according to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, drawing international condemnation and expression of “deep sorrow” from Israel. The IDF said it was probing the incident, and the Foreign Ministry said Israel “never targets churches or religious sites….”
The church was sheltering both Christians and Muslims, including a number of children with disabilities, according to Fadel Naem, acting director of Al-Ahli Hospital, which received the wounded.
The “deep sorrow,” of course, was purely rhetorical, as the bombing was a deliberate act. This has infuriated the Vatican and has drawn harsh criticism from the Italian government as well. The Zionist state continues to show its violent nature toward its neighbors and its opposition to Christianity as a whole. The Zionist state is continuing to lose support around the world.
The Israeli Minister of Interior responded to Huckabee’s letter with the usual word salad, with no apology and no indication of a serious change of policy. Instead, it chides Huckabee for addressing his letter to “a wide range of senior officials.” The letter said:
“Given the direct line of communication between my staff and your representatives, and in light of the fact that every request received by my office has thus far been handled promptly, I was particularly surprised by the manner in which your concerns were raised - and by your decision to address your letter to a wide range of senior officials without first approaching me or my office directly. In my view, this course of action deviates from accepted working norms and does not reflect the direct and constructive relationship we have established.”

It seems that Ambassador Mike Huckabee is now in a position to get his eyes open as to the nature of this counterfeit version of the Kingdom of God.
The original Zionist Congress was convened in Vienna in 1896. It was opposed by the majority of the world’s Jews, who believed that no such attempt to return to the land should occur prior to the coming of the Messiah. Well, finally an Anti-Zionist World Congress was convened from June 13-15, 2025, stating their position: “Above all, Zionism is a crime against humanity.”
“The world watches in horror the unfolding genocide against the Palestinian people committed by Zionism in partnership with the West. It is our obligation as Jews to take action, as this is done in our name. We must join our Palestinian brothers and sisters in their darkest hour, and work for decolonising Palestine!
“Jews and people of Jewish descent everywhere – those whom the Zionist state claims to speak for – are coming together and uniting to declare the unwavering opposition to Zionism.
“Since the First Zionist Congress over a century ago, Zionist leaders have claimed to speak on behalf of the entire world Jewry, thus holding Jews and Judaism hostage to Zionism, while permanently attempting to silence our opposition and trampling on the spiritual integrity of the Jewish religion. Jewish tradition, history and culture is totally opposed to genocide.”
Most people are unaware that a great many Jews find Zionism to be abhorrent. The media has done its best to conceal this fact, because they claim that Zionists speak for all Jews. This Anti-Zionist Jewish Congress, however, wrote:
“Zionism is a crime against Judaism and the indigenous people of Palestine, and we are committed to putting an end to it. Over the years, it has been proven that Zionism, instead of protecting Jews, turned into a great danger by committing atrocious acts in the name of Jews and Judaism. Zionism claims the supremacy of Jews and thereby fully adopts the racist assumption inherent to antisemitism that insists on the ‘otherness’ of Jews.”
As Kingdom believers, we sympathize with and support these Jews who are trying to protect Jews from “great danger” brought about by Zionist aggression and genocide.
