View Full Tract ListOn January 17, 2026 (one of my recent watch dates), tapes of Donald Trump surfaced, where he ordered the FBI to fabricate evidence, if necessary, in order to arrest 3 Democratic governors. When senators heard the tapes for themselves, 19 Republican senators joined with Democrats to impeach Trump for “tyranny” (as Mitch McConnell called it).
Instead of refuting the evidence, Trump attacked the “disloyal” senators.
This is clearly Trump’s most serious legal situation, as he could be impeached and also held criminally liable, if convicted. Here is a video that gives a brief history of this situation. It is an AI version of Prof. Jeff Sachs, so I do not know if Sachs himself wrote the script or if someone else simply hijacked his image. Nonetheless, it gives a short account of events on January 17-19.

America appears to have taken a significant turn toward chaos. It is called a constitutional crisis, although America forsook the constitution long ago. Whether we like it or not, we should be aware of what is happening in Washington, because it will affect us all in time to come.
