The Prince of Persia wars

I made a couple of date corrections in yesterday’s blog, where I had written that the first Gulf War occurred in 1990. It was actually 1991. Sometimes I get it wrong, because the war actually began six months earlier on August 2/3, 1990 when Iraq invaded Kuwait. It took six months for US troops to assemble in Saudi Arabia, and only then did the US invade Iraq (February 1991).

The second war (Afghanistan) took place ten years later (Hezekiah Factor) in 2001.

The third war (Iran) began February 28, 2026 on the anniversary of the end of the first Gulf War, February 28, 1991. It was like we were picked up where we left off 35 years ago. This was certainly not coincidental. It shows that the first Gulf War in 1991 is connected to the US-Israeli attack on Iran 35 years later, executed by the same Prince of Persia.

The first Gulf War was led by General Normal Schwartzkopf, known by his troops as “The Bear.” He ran the war from an underground “dungeon” in Saudi Arabia, the place where I saw (in my vision in 1986) my angel guarding the bear-like beast with the gold tooth. When he was later interviewed by the mainstream media, all of this was revealed to the public. And when the general grinned, I saw his gold tooth and immediately recognized him as the bear in my vision in 1986.

Why God Gives Revelation Ahead of Time

All of this proved to me that the Prince of Persia was indeed the spiritual inspiration behind the Gulf War, manifested in the world by “The Bear” who led the US troops. That is not exactly a “patriotic” thing to admit, but my view was shaped by the revelation I was given long before the war even started. In fact, that is probably why God gives revelation ahead of time. Revelation is often shaped by (or interpreted according) to one’s personal biases or beliefs. So God gives revelation ahead of time, before the earthly event occurs, and before one has had time to formulate a biased view.

When I had the vision in 1986, I had no idea what it meant or how it would actually work out in real world events. My interpretation of the vision, then, was shaped by the way in which the vision was actually fulfilled. I have often said that the actual events determine the meaning of prophecy. Until those events emerge in worldly events, we only have an interpretation with limited understanding of prophecy.

Trying to determine timing is also very difficult. The timing of a revelation usually has something to with its fulfillment in the earth. I have found that the specific date is important—such as February 28—but the year is nearly always hidden until the event happens. The same date comes every year, and we treat it as a watch date, based on previous patterns, but normally, we cannot determine ahead of time which year the event will emerge in the world.

For this reason, I inform you about “watch dates,” especially when I begin to get signs that past patterns could be emerging shortly. Even then, it is difficult to know HOW these events will actually play out in real events. All things happen in the spirit before they happen in the world, but the spiritual event only reveals spiritual forces hidden behind the earthly events. The spiritual event can look quite different from what we ultimately see in the world, especially because of our limited carnal understanding and our natural biases.

This is also why it is important to distinguish between prophecy and our understanding of prophecy. Our understanding is almost always incomplete, and we should not have too much confidence in it. We need to have the ability to alter our understanding according to what actually happens when it is fulfilled. This requires some seasoning, which comes through experience, including trial and error, success and failure.

The Year of Light (2026)

As we entered the year 2026, I began to “feel” deep within that the 2001 pattern of spiritual warfare might be emerging into the world scene. This was confirmed by event on January 29, which correlated to the challenge of authority seen on January 29, 2001. A single date, however valuable, does not establish anything. But a second event on February 21 (the staff bearing fruit in 2001) confirmed that we were indeed entering a time of warfare.

The dates of that warfare had already been established in 2001, the first being February 26-28. America’s attack on Iran proved this discernment beyond any doubt. The next date was March 8, based on the 2001 battle against the Banking Beast (Prince of Usury). This was known to be an event that would affect the financial system. The US-Israeli attack on Iran’s oil facilities fulfilled this, beginning the destruction of the world’s energy-based economy that is sure to bankrupt many nations in the time ahead.

Dubai is being systematically destroyed right now. It has only taken a few drone attacks to send the billionaires scurrying to other “safer” countries. Dubai is made up of 90% foreigners, and these are also now trying to flee the country. Property values in Dubai are already down 30%, having a loss of $350 billion so far. They thought that by submitting to US military control they could retain stability and security, but they have now discovered that US military bases are the reason they are being destroyed.

Bahrain is another example in the Persian Gulf. It is the home base of America’s Fifth Fleet. But it is now a sitting duck for Iranian missiles, as Iran retaliates against the US-Israeli war of aggression. The whole world sees this, and they know who released the Kracken. The Prince of Persia deceived the US-Israeli governments, and now there is no easy exit.

Trump is already declaring victory. Hegseth is claiming that Iran is running out of missiles. That reminds me of the claim four years ago that Russia was running out of ammunition just one month into the Ukraine war. The fact is that Russia is not scouring the world for more weapons. That is what Ukraine has been doing for years. After four years of this, they don’t even try to use that propaganda any more. At least not in Ukraine. Yet they are using the same propaganda today with the war on Iran, and most people have not learned the lessons from past propaganda.

Iran is destroying Tel Aviv with its missiles and drones. The big oil refinery in Haifa is largely destroyed. It supplied Israel with 40% of its oil and gas. Now the Israelis are forced to enter the oil and gas market and compete with the rest of the world for oil and gas that has been blocked at the Strait of Hormuz. The situation is so dire that Trump has now lifted its oil sanctions on Iran, allowing them to sell their oil on the world markets from March 20 to April 19!

Does this sound like an American victory lap?

There is even talk now about lifting the oil sanctions against Russia to ease the pain. The country most benefited by this war against Iran is Russia, which now can sell its oil and gas at much higher prices and which may even be free to sell to Europe—presumably in US dollars. In other words, the US-Israeli war against Iran is empowering Russia and is funding the war against Ukraine. So much for the sanctions policy. We will see if Russia will agree to sell to Europe!

The Kings of the East

The original Babylon of history fell to the Medes and Persians in 537 B.C. (See Daniel 5:28.) The Medes and Persians were the original “kings of the east.” Revelation 16:12 treats this as a prophetic pattern for the future. It does not specify how many kings there would be. All we know is that there were two kings originally.

About 20 years ago, I noticed this prophetic pattern and began to write about it in my weblogs and later (2010) in the FFI bulletins.

At first I assumed that there were just two kings (Russia and China), because this was the ancient pattern. But Persia/Iran was also always in the picture. My later view was that Russia and China have been raised up to destroy Babylon on a world-wide scale, while Iran has been raised up to destroy the Israeli state (head of the serpent) on a regional scale.

Yet today we see Iran taking revenge on both the US and Israel by cutting off the oil supply at the Strait of Hormuz. Hence, Iran is playing a more important role than I had anticipated. Even so, the bottom line is that all three are playing important roles, each in their own way. It appears certain at this point that the present war against Iran has the potential of bringing the entire Babylonian world system to its knees.

In other words, the rise of the kings of the east in Revelation 16:12, being the sixth bowl of wine poured out in judgment, has prepared the way for the destruction of Babylon itself, which is the result of the seventh bowl of wine in Revelation 16:17. The 2001 pattern seems to indicate that this war will continue for the rest of this present Prophetic Year of Light. It will not be a quick war like they thought. America loves quick wars. Long wars soon become very unpopular.

These wars, of course, are the negative side of the prophecy. The positive side is that God is also working to establish His Kingdom to replace the beast systems in preparation for the age to come. The Kingdom is foreshadowed in Isaiah 44:24 to 45:25 with King Cyrus, who was a type of Messiah (Isaiah 45:1). He played a dual role in his day, first as the Persian “bear” (Daniel 7:5), and secondly as the Messiah who overthrows Babylon.

Today Iran has taken up the same mantle, but now that the beast systems have run their course in history, the primary role of Iran is in providing the “boots on the ground” for the Messiah’s plan to destroy Babylon. Those who fight against Iran find that they are actually fighting Christ Himself. Bush 41 did it in 1991; Bush 43 did it in 2001; Trump is now doing it in 2026.

Is Trump the modern Cyrus, as some think? Not unless he has a secret plan pretending to be opposed to Iran and pretending to support the Zionist state. On the surface, note that it was not Iran that attacked America, though Trump has claimed (with no serious proof) that Iran was about to do so. On the surface, Trump has allied with Netanyahu (Edom) to attack Cyrus (Persia/Iran). In 2001, when we foresaw this war, the overcomers were the ones being attacked by the church allied with the Prince of Persia. In 2001 we did not start that war. So whoever did the attacking is essentially fighting against Cyrus "My Messiah" (Isaiah 45:1).

Yet because of the propaganda and chest-thumping, it is not easy to see this. Neither the Pentagon nor the news media supports the revelation of God. Washington D.C. is now Israeli-occupied territory. The nation has come fully under the control of Mystery Babylon.

But we are not Babylonians; we are Kingdom citizens living in occupied territory, and we await the great release—the decree of Cyrus. It is not our job to fight Babylon militarily. God has raised up non-believers to play that role. Our part involves spiritual warfare to obtain victory in the spirit, which will then emerge into the earth at God’s appointed time.
