Oil prices went up 80% in a single day. We have reached the point of no return. The war is costing the US a billion dollars a day, but the cost to Europe, Israel, and the Mideast nations is far higher. Was this "the storm" that Trump talked about some years ago?

The Gulf region is angry with Trump for starting a war without consulting them and without considering the consequences for them. Now they are discussing “a new regional security arrangement,” which is diplomatic speech for a new security/military alignment. It means they are wanting to get rid of all US military bases in the area, which have proven to be a liability instead of providing them with security.
