Two more books published in Pakistan

Today I talked to Pastor Fiaz. It was 3:00 p.m. my time and 1:00 a.m. his time. He gave me an update on the ministry there and sent pictures as well. Two more of our books, The Two Covenants and Haggai, have been translated into Udu and are now in print (2,000 copies each). He is now working on the combination book: Joel—Obadiah—Micah. He tells me that there is very little written or translated into Urdu on the Minor Prophets, so these books are very much in demand.

Here is the email that Fiaz sent today:

Dear Dr. Stephen E. Jones

Greetings in Christ.

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share an encouraging update regarding our recent ministry activities and also present an opportunity for your support.

I was honored to be invited to the 13th Convocation of National Christian College (NCC) Lahore. NCC has been faithfully serving for the past 15 years, and during this convocation, 40 students graduated across three different programs.

During the event, I had the opportunity to share about our translated books. Many people were truly amazed to learn about the work we are doing. I was able to give our books to all graduating students, which was a meaningful moment of imparting knowledge and vision to the next generation.

I also had the privilege of personally presenting our books to Principal Dr. Joseph C. Lal. Additionally, Dr. Adil Amin, an author of over 400 books, expressed great interest and appreciation for our work. I shared our vision and books with P. Ujala Hans as well, who serves as the Director of NCC.

This event provided a wonderful platform to spread our vision and ministry across Pakistan.

By God’s grace, we now have 4,000 copies of our newly translated books, Two Covenants and Haggai, ready for distribution. We are planning to hold an official book launching ceremony along with a Partners Appreciation Program on 30th March. We will be inviting people from across Pakistan so that our vision can reach even further through these resources.

I have also shared the new cover pages of both books with you.

If it is possible, we humbly request your support in the form of funding for the upcoming launching ceremony and partners appreciation event. Your contribution will play a vital role in helping us expand this vision and reach many more lives.

Just for your information, we are sending some funds to Fiaz to help with the expenses at the launching ceremony. I think the main expense will be in feeding the crowd for a couple of days. (This is customary and also practical.) Pakistan as a whole is having difficulty with fuel costs, due to Trump’s war against Iran.
