We have taken the five ministry gifts (Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, and Apostles) as an outline for the courses of Bible study in this School.
Our purpose is to equip those who are ministering with a knowledge of the Word, so that each will be more effective in fulfilling his or her calling.
Learn MoreOn April 3, 2026 a USAF F-15 was shot down near Shiraz in Iran. The pilot was reported to be rescued quickly. The Operations Officer, however, became the real story, supposedly rescued two days later (April 5) just south of Isfahan. The rescue operation finally took place 30-40 miles south of Esfahan at an abandoned airport with a dirt runway. The operation included two C-130 transport planes, one of which was carrying helicopters and other equipment. It seems that the other was carrying at least 100 elite troops.
Reports say that the C-130’s carrying the equipment went off the dirt runway and got stuck in the sand. Everything went wrong. The US troops came under heavy fire, destroying much of the equipment, and the troops were barely able to get out alive. US government reports say that they destroyed their own equipment to prevent the technology from falling into the wrong hands. They also claim that no US troops were killed in the operation. (This stretches credulity.)
Whatever one is to believe, the operation was a complete failure, except that the Operations Officer from the F-15 was said to be rescued. We are to believe that he walked through the Zagros Mountains and then made his way northeast north of Shareza and just south of Isfahan, where he was rescued.

The distance between Shiraz and Shahreza is approximately (by road) about 480–520 km (or 300–325 miles). Straight-line (air distance) is about 400–430 km (250–270 miles).
The airstrip is about 14 miles (23 km) north of Shahreza, or roughly 30–40 miles south–southwest of Isfahan. 300-325 miles is a long journey for the Operations Officer to walk in just 48 hours, especially when he was being hunted by Iranian troops. He also had to cross the Zagros Mountains early in his journey.
It seems more likely any rescue took place much earlier, perhaps at the same time that the pilot rescued, and that the airport incident near Isfahan was actually an attempt to set up a staging ground inside Iran to invade with ground troops. This would also explain why two C-130 transport planes were used to rescue one colonel from a downed F-15. (Some believe that this was actually a failed operation to seize Iranian nuclear material from their facility at Isfahan.)
In reading the official US government reports (as reported in the press), it reeks of a well-used barnyard.
Dr. Stephen Jones has been writing blog posts since 2005 on a variety of topics from Bible Studies to World News, and he has been writing books since 1992. Dr. Jones' most important writings came after God brought him back into the full-time ministry in 1991. It is here that all his earlier years of searching the Scriptures began to come into clear focus. He combines a knowledge of the Old and New Testaments with a personal revelation of God that began and developed during the "wilderness" period of his life, which he often refers to as God's True Bible College...
