In September of 2013, I began to write a commentary on Luke’s gospel. On February 16, 2015 I finished the final book in the series. Because the overall series title was Dr. Luke: Repairing the Breaches, it occurred to me that we had actually been doing breach repair work since 2011.
This work is now completed after 3½ years (1260 days).
Some of you may recall that a man in Minneapolis felt the call to do a Jericho march around the Interstate Loop around St. Paul and Minneapolis. Its purpose was to tear down the walls that separate people into various denominations. This was likened to the walls of Jericho falling down.
He tried to organize this in 2010, but it did not work out. He succeeded in doing it on Sept. 11-17, 2011, which was ten years after the Twin Towers demolition. When I heard about Operation Jericho, I knew that I had to be part of it, because I knew it was an important prophetic event that was occurring by the ten-year Hezekiah Factor.
At the time, however, I did not know that this “wall” theme would continue to build for the next few years, nor did I know it would culminate on February 17-23, 2015.
In 2012 another friend named Chad received revelation about building the walls of the New Jerusalem. This was the positive side of the overall prophetic work, after destroying the walls of Jericho in 2011. This work of rebuilding was based on the pattern seen in Neh. 6:15, where we see that “the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.”
Elul 25 that year was September 12, 2012. So Chad counted back 52 days to see when this work should begin. It was July 22, 2012, which was 7/22 on our calendar and represents a prophetic type of the 8th day of Tabernacles.
So during that 52-day cycle we prayed to repair the breaches in the walls of the New Jerusalem. We also knew that walls are boundaries for protection to keep enemies outside a city. In applying this to the New Jerusalem, we understood that the walls represent the divine laws. Hence, Lam. 2:8, 9 says, “The Lord determined to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion… He has destroyed and broken her bars… The law is no more.”
The walls of the Old Jerusalem were destroyed because the people were lawless. When the people destroyed the law of God through their traditions, God then destroyed the walls of their city. For the earthly pattern to remain intact, it must represent that which is heavenly. But when the city, its temple, and its walls ceased to represent the walls of the New Jerusalem in heaven, God destroyed all of them.
The walls of the New Jerusalem still represent the divine law. That has not changed. God is building a new city and a new temple out of living stones, so that heaven may truly come to earth and remain, as the Kingdom of God replaces the kingdoms of men. The wall of this city still keeps out those who are unworthy, or those who would try to climb over the wall in a lawless manner (John 10:1). But the wall’s purpose is not really to keep anyone out of the city, but to channel them through the proper gates (doors). Ultimately, the only Door is Christ (John 10:7).
A group of us drove to Bemidji, Minnesota on Sept. 11, 2012 in order to complete the 52-day wall-building project for the New Jerusalem. On the way, God revealed the two “stones” (laws) that He wanted us to place in the wall. These two laws represented the whole law, but also could be seen as the final two stones to complete the project.
The first “stone” was the Law of Victims Rights. The second was the Law of Impartiality.
On Sept. 12 we placed the first “stone” in the wall by a prophetic decree 52 days from the day representing the 8th day of Tabernacles (July 22).
Then we were shown that the second stone was to be placed in the wall 52 days after the 8th day of Tabernacles on the Hebrew calendar. In other words, we went through a second 52-day cycle from October 8 to November 29, 2012, at the end of which we placed the second law in the wall. It was the Law of Impartiality.
We declared by this act that the wall of New Jerusalem applied to all men equally, according to the law itself:
Exodus 23:3, “nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his dispute.”
Exodus 23:9, “And you shall not oppress a stranger, since you yourselves know the feelings of a stranger, for you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
Lev. 19:34, “The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.”
Num. 15:15, 16, “As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before the Lord. There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.”
These are the laws of God that have never changed. They were always meant to be applied equally to all men as an expression of the love of God.
In August and September 2013 we held a prayer campaign called “End the Famine.” It was about overcoming all of America’s broken treaties, which have caused a famine of hearing the word (2 Sam. 22:1; Amos 8:11).
To break a treaty is to violate the law of God, and hence it can be pictured as a breach of the wall. A month later, Cindy Jacobs issued a “Call to the Wall,” which was a call to post watchers on the walls of the New Jerusalem as guards to prevent the ungodly from coming into the City in an unlawful manner.
From Oct. 27 to Nov. 5, 2014 we conducted a prayer campaign called “Dismiss all who bind.” This was to do our part as watchmen on the walls of the New Jerusalem. It was a prayer campaign to keep out those who remain under the Old Covenant (“Hagar,” prophetically speaking, the sons of the bondwoman, Gal. 4:25). This was not directed at any ethnic groups, but those who are “children of the flesh.”
In August of 2014, God began to reveal that the breach was to be repaired between Israel and Judah. In other words, we were to repair the breach between Judah and Joseph and between the scepter and the birthright.
This was acted out prophetically by one of my friends named David and I (as Joseph). We came into unity on a prophetic level on Aug. 20, 2014 and again on Jan. 17, 2015.
In this way we began to receive revelation about the government of the Kingdom. Recall that the beast systems lost their divine mandate to rule the earth on the 8th day of Tabernacles, October 16, 2014. The final endpoint passed on December 30, 2014. So now we and all aspiring overcomers are authorized to form a new government for the earth to replace the beasts that have ruled since the days of Daniel and Jeremiah.
To do this requires a reunification between the scepter and the birthright, between Judah and Joseph, and between the King and the Kingdom. That is what God is currently doing. I do not know what direction this will take in the coming months and years, but we have sufficient revelation to begin working toward this end. Obviously, however, it will take many people to accomplish this work, each of whom ought to be led by the Spirit to do their part.
While this is a small beginning, it is a start. I have no doubt that it will grow into whatever God has for it. I plan to share revelation on the biblical patterns for Kingdom government at our Passover conference in April. Of special interest to me is how each of the 12 tribes of Israel reveal different callings, which, on a governmental level, are the different departments of Kingdom government.
As most of you know, I have been writing a commentary on the gospel of Luke for more than a year. My first weblog on Luke was written Sept. 21, 2013 after I finished my series on Deuteronomy.
The ten books on Deuteronomy were finished on Feb. 16, 2014, and the final (8th) book on Luke was finished on Feb. 16, 2015. They are all in spiral-bound format, which cannot be sent into prisons, unfortunately. Eventually, I hope to get them printed in soft cover for prisons and in hard cover for libraries, but such costs are beyond our means at present.
The books have the overall title: Dr. Luke: Repairing the Breaches. Finishing this project marks the time when the breaches are repaired insofar as the walls of the New Jerusalem are concerned. When I finished the Deuteronomy series a year ago, it was like completing the walls; and when I finished Luke, it was like repairing the breaches in the 12 gates in the walls.
Now we can begin putting together Kingdom government in embryo form, with each person associated with a specific tribe of Israel that is represented in the 12 gates of the City. In the Bible, the gates of a city or town was the seat of government and the place where the judges sat while judging the disputes between people.
Just as Deuteronomy represented Moses, so also does Luke represent Joshua. When Moses died, Joshua was commissioned to lead Israel across the Jordan River into the plains of Jericho. Israel had 41 different camps during their 40 years in the wilderness. Their 42nd encampment was in the plains of Jericho. So also the gospel of Luke is the 42nd book of our Bible. That is the Joshua-Luke connection.
The gospels, including Luke, give us the story of Jesus, or Yeshua (Joshua). So this series is really about the New Covenant Joshua and how He came to be the One who is called to lead us into the New Covenant Kingdom.
The original Joshua was only a type of Christ. The second covenant was established in Deut. 29:10-15, and Joshua was called to lead Israel into the Promised Land and implement that covenant in the new Kingdom. But because Joshua lived under the overall covering of the Old Covenant, he had to remain a type and shadow of the real Joshua-Jesus. His life and ministry prophesied of something greater that was yet to come.
Jacob’s prophecies to his twelve sons brought about a breach between the scepter and the birthright. Jacob divided up the birthright into sections, giving Judah the scepter, Levi the priesthood, and Joseph what was left (Sonship). Joseph received a stripped-down version of the birthright.
There was no problem as long as all of the tribes were united, for their unity gave all a share in the other’s calling. In fact, Jacob used the pattern of marriage in doing this, for God Himself divided man into two—man and woman—and then called them into a marriage relationship that made them dependent upon each other. Hence, Judah played the role of the husband, while Israel (Joseph) played the role of the bride. As long as they remained unified in a national marriage relationship, they ministered to each other.
But when Israel was divided into two nations, known as Israel and Judah, a breach was created, which was like a divorce. Solomon had overtaxed the Israelites, and his son Rehoboam decided to continue that oppressive policy. His counselors advised the new king to not let his wife tell him what to do, lest she continue doing this. This resulted in the “wife” divorcing her “husband.”
This breach separated the scepter from the birthright and thus made it necessary for Christ to come twice. The first time He came of the tribe of Judah to claim His scepter. The second time He comes as Joseph to claim His birthright and bring about the manifestation of the sons of God.
In coming twice, He unites the scepter and the birthright under one Head, for He is both Judah (David) and Joseph (Israel).
In Christ’s first coming, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, He had to fulfill the death work pictured in Jacob’s blessing upon Judah. “He couches, he lies down as a lion, and as a lion, who dares to rouse him up?” (Gen. 49:9). Further, we read that “He washes his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes” (Gen. 49:11).
This suggests a lion lying down in the sleep of death but being roused up by the Spirit of God in resurrection life. In other words, it suggests how Passover was to be fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Christ. The King was found worthy to rule on account of His willingness to die for the people. This contrasts with fleshly kings who usually appeal to patriotism and ask the people to die for them.
Christ’s willingness to die proves His love toward us, as Paul says in Rom. 5:6-8. Therefore, in response to His love, “we love Him because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
The second coming of Christ is designed to manifest the sons of God through the feast of Tabernacles. This is the Joseph calling, for “Joseph is a fruitful son” (Gen. 49:22), translated literally. It is through this feast that we become fruitful. The bride bears the “fruit of the womb” and fulfills the mandate in Gen. 1:28, “Be fruitful and multiply.”
This was only partially fulfilled by bringing forth fleshly children. God’s real intent was to multiply the sons of God. Though Adam was made a “son of God” (Luke 3:38), his sin made it necessary to develop an alternate route to achieve sonship. It is done by a spiritual process, where we are begotten by the gospel, the incorruptible seed of the word (1 Peter 1:23-25).
That holy seed, the offspring of God, which is brought to birth, is a son of God; and collectively, these sons of God also form the body of the Son of God, the Head. The breach is repaired when the Head is joined to the complete body.
Hence, what starts at Passover is finished at Tabernacles. A New Creation Man is being formed, even as the first Adam was formed at the beginning. While the first Adam was “of the earth, earthy,” the last Adam is from heaven (1 Cor. 15:47).
It takes time to form a complete body. Many individuals over the centuries have qualified as sons of God, but they could not be joined to the collective New Creation Man until the body was complete. They have had to wait for those who would yet be born and who would qualify in later centuries.
Even as it takes time for individuals to develop into mature sons of God, so also does it take time for the collective body to become complete. Individuals are “now” the sons of God (1 John 3:1), but only at the end of the age is the body of sons complete.
On an individual level, we are called to experience each of the feasts. By faith in Christ—that is, in His death and resurrection—we are begotten by our heavenly father, for 1 John 4:1 says, “whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God.” We are then brought to maturity through the discipline of Pentecost, as the Holy Spirit writes the law in our hearts. Those who allow Pentecost to do its work in their hearts and who come into maturity are then qualified as sons of God to experience Tabernacles.
However, the work remains unfinished on the collective level. For example, when Paul came to the end of his life, having endured to the end, he wrote in 2 Tim. 4:6-8,
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Perhaps he spoke of a personal “crown,” but if so, this was only an interim reward. The real reward would come “in the future” when he, along with the body, would be put together and then marry the Head, that is, Christ. Heb. 11:40 says of all the past saints, “apart from us, they should not be made perfect” (i.e., complete).
We are all incomplete without the rest of the body, and the body itself is incomplete without the Head.
It requires all three feasts to complete the divine plan in regard to sonship. Passover begets the New Creation Man in us. Pentecost matures him. Tabernacles brings him to birth. The present breach between Passover and Tabernacles has prevented those who are begotten from coming to full birth. That breach must be repaired to complete the plan.
But the repair of that breach is precisely what we are seeing by the Spirit today.
Last July I was given revelation that we were soon to see a change of calendar, based on the pattern given to Moses in Exodus 12:2,
2 This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.
The calendar prior to this time had been based on the new year starting in the month of Tishri (in September). But God told Moses to change the calendar so that the first month would be Abib (April). The feast of Passover, then, was to be celebrated in the middle of Abib—the new first month.
What was God’s purpose in making this calendar change? Well, considering the fact that the old new year on Tishri 1 was considered to be the beginning of creation, this purpose was then transferred to Abib 1. In what sense? Abib 1 was to be the start of a New Creation under the New Covenant.
This New Creation was to begin with Christ through death and resurrection. The death sentence upon the old man was not repudiated or set aside, but resurrection was added to it, so as to overcome death. Death was turned into a temporary condition. Passing through death was the start of the New Creation on the other side.
So on the first of Abib, Lazarus was raised from the dead as a sign of this New Year. Jesus did not run to Bethany in order to prevent him from dying. Instead, He waited until no one could dispute that he truly had died. Jesus came on the fourth day to raise him from the dead.
In the same manner, Jesus came in the fourth thousand-day period to establish the fact of resurrection.
Yet there has been a breach between Passover and the feast of Tabernacles. This breach is being repaired in 2014-2015. Recall that on October 16, 2014 the overcomers received the authority of the Dominion Mandate at the expiration of the beast-nations’ time to rule the earth.
Tabernacles was the time when Israel crowned its kings during the time of the Divided Kingdom. Judah crowned its kings at Passover. In the United Kingdom of God there is need for only one Coronation Day. Hence, the two feasts are being united at Passover of 2015, and we are currently in the interim between these two feasts (Oct. to April).
When a king of Judah died during a particular year of his reign, the new king received authority as soon as the old king died. But his formal, official coronation did not occur until the next Passover, which was the end of the last year of his father’s reign. So it is as if the old king died last October, and the saints received authority to rule; but their formal coronation is set for Passover of 2015. That will be the theme of this year’s Passover conference.
We will be holding a four-day conference this year, instead of the usual three-day week end. The Conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015. If you are from out of town, you may want to start your hotel reservation the night of Wednesday, April 1. We have 60 rooms blocked off for each night through Sunday night.
Shuttle Service: The hotel has shuttle service but only for a five-mile radius. Unfortunately, the airport is more than five miles away. You may take the train from the airport to the downtown area, where the hotel shuttle can meet you; or just take a taxi to the hotel.
Speakers: I have not yet lined up all of the speakers, but most of them will be the usual conference speakers. Confirmed speakers are: Ron Oja, James Bruggeman, Stephen Jones, Dr. Chad Harrison (chiropractor), Vincent and Joy Imperial (and family). Music will be provided by Dave Dixon, Paul Kyle, and others. Other speakers who have not yet confirmed: Mark Eaton and Rob Corry.
Reservations: Our negotiated rate is $95/night for the hotel rooms. You may choose either a king-size bed or two doubles.
Online Reservations: We have made it very easy to make your reservations online.
