Obama More Zionist than Bush

Early signs abound that voter euphoria is soon to be replaced by voter disillusionment. President-elect Obama is promising more bailout packages, acknowledging that the recent $700 Billion bailout was not nearly enough to stimulate the economy on the home front. And on the foreign policy front, his appointment of Rahm Israel Emanuel is a clear signal that the State Department will continue to be "Israeli-occupied territory," as Pat Buchanan once put it.

Here are two quotes from an interview about the situation from AlterNet:

AA: Well, I thought it was quite ironic, since a lot of racists have tried to make an issue out of Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein, that the same kind of people might be happy with Rahm Israel Emanuel's middle name. And indeed, Emanuel is one of the most hard-line supporters of Israel in the Congress and has been for many years. He's the son of Benjamin Emanuel, who actually was a gun runner for the Irgun, the Zionist, pre-Israel Zionist, militia that carried out numerous terrorist attacks on Palestinian civilians, including the bombing of the King David Hotel. Of course, Rahm Emanuel himself is not responsible for any of that, but his record is sometimes far to the right of President Bush when it comes to supporting Israel.

AG: Last June, on his first day as the Democrats' presumptive nominee, Senator Barack Obama addressed AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

Sen. Barack Obama: Let me be clear. Israel's security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable. The Palestinians need a state -- the Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive and that allows them to prosper, but any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel's identity as a Jewish state, with secure, recognized, defensible borders. And Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.

AG: That was Barack Obama last June.

So if you mistrust Obama for all those mysterious campaign funds coming from overseas (presumably from Arab countries), let me put your minds at ease. They got duped. They probably wasted their oil revenues on the most radical Zionist to date, probably thinking that all of this pro-Israel talk was just "campaign talk" that he didn't really mean.

Yet his actions so far prove that he really DID mean it, and he intends to put people like Rahm Emanuel in charge of the continuing oppression of Palestinians. In fact, I suspect that these mysterious contributions came not from Arab countries, but from Israeli sources who spread internet rumors to hide their support of Obama.

When will Americans (and the world) figure out that Zionism is the platform of BOTH the Democratic and Republican parties? This is the one point on which they totally agree. Zionists appear to be in charge of both parties. So any change in the presidency will not turn us from the one national sin that has brought most of this insecurity to the world, and which has made it "necessary" to legalize wiretapping, torture, and the loss of habeas corpus.

Christians would be euphoric, if it were not for the prospect of abortion rights and gay marriage.

So whatever else one might say about an Obama presidency, two things are clear: the economy will continue to collapse as the taxpayers (and voters) bail out the big corporations and assume responsibility for their debts; and secondly, America will continue to support Edomite Zionism, and so the conflict in the Middle East will continue to deteriorate until it ends in nuclear war.

A little over half of the Americans, along with a large portion of the world, has now been given some optimism that America will truly institute real "change." Is anyone taking bets on how soon the voters will become disillusioned?
