Here is an article posted recently, claiming that "chipping" will soon become mandatory in the Israeli state.

If this is actually implemented, it will be interesting to listen to the buzz among Christian Zionists. Does it mean that the Israeli Jews will all go to hell for getting this computer chip in their hands? How can the "chosen people" go to hell? Don't they get a pass into heaven just for being Jews? Aren't they saved by Moses apart from Christ? Certainly, it is not a requirement that they actually believe the New Testament??
One Christian Jewish writer, when asked, writes that he will refuse it even if it means he must die. Really? If the government makes it mandatory, why would they even ask his opinion? Are they going to torture him into accepting the chip voluntarily? Or would they just tie him down and insert it, and then kick him out the door?
Would a forcible "chipping" make him eligible for hell?
Mandatory means mandatory. It implies that you remove from the individual person the right to "just say no."
Personally, I believe that the "mark of the beast" is money itself. It is not wrong to have it or use it. It is wrong to worship it. It is the counterpart to Deut. 6:8, where it says of the law:
"And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be frontals on yourforehead."
In other words, it is a symbolic representation of being a law-abiding citizen of the Kingdom--that is, in compliance with the divine law. Everything that you put your hand to do, and your whole mindset and motive ought to be to be obedient to God. Be led by the Spirit, rather than by the god of wealth (golden calf) and its "image" money.
In Exodus 13:8 God instructed the parents to teach their children the meaning of Passover (justification). Verse 9 then says this,
"And it shall serve as a sign to you on your hand, and as a reminder on your forehead, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth; for with a powerful hand the Lord brought you out of Egypt."
It was never meant to be taken literally, for Prov. 6:21 says,
"Bind them continually on your heart; tie them around your neck."
After the Babylonian captivity, the rabbis would often literally put some Scripture into a small box and tie it to their forehead or hand with wide purple ribbons. These are called "phylacteries" or "frontlets." They wore them much as amulets saying that even God Himself wore them. (See Smith's Bible Dictionary under "Frontlets.")
Jesus was not too impressed with them and gave no indication that those verses ought to be taken so literally. Matt. 23:5 says,
"But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries, and lengthen the tassels of their garments."
God is interested in the heart, not outward righteousness. A computer chip is just a computer chip and has nothing to do with a moral requirement of God. Any outward form may be a symptom of a heart problem, of course, but computer chips are not inherently evil in themselves, even if inserted in one's hand or forehead.
Such chips have no more evil effect than a computer chip in a pacemaker renders one's heart impure.
Having said that, let me add that I oppose chipping people and would not recommend it to anyone. But it is because such "chips" are part of the overall control apparatus of Mystery Babylon. They are being used to control their slaves in the name of "security." I oppose all forms of slavery, and such "chips" are the latest means of controlling slaves. But one can follow God with or without a computer chip in his hand or forehead. If anyone is forced to have such a chip, let me tell you that you have NOT committed the unpardonable sin. Continue to follow God.
In fact, if "chipping" is really mandatory, you can bet on it that they won't ask for your permission. They won’t care about your constitutional rights, nor will they give you a religious exemption. The first people will get it voluntarily, but when they run out of volunteers, you can be sure that the government will act like government and will not ask for your opinion or your permission. They are not going to remove your head if you refuse it; they will simply tie you down and insert it forcibly.
But that chip can have no effect upon your heart unless you allow it. Even as a phylactery did little or nothing to change the hearts of rabbis for the good, so also a modern computer chip will do little or nothing to change your heart.
