The Greater Salt Work for You to do

Today is 5/28. I awoke with a revelation this morning, not knowing the date or its significance.

The number 528 is the gematria of the Hebrew word for maphteach, "key." We call it the Key of David.

As I have written earlier, Jesus said that we are the SALT of the earth, and if we have salt in ourselves, we have PEACE with one another (Mark 9:50). This is a reference to salt covenants that people made with each other in those days to make peace or reconciliation.

A few weeks ago, at the time of the Second Passover (May 8-10), the Salt Company was led to proclaim the healing of the waters of Jericho according to the Elisha pattern in 2 Kings 2:19-22. These few, however, represented a much greater body of people. In no way would so few people constitute the entire "salt of the earth." Nonetheless, they were appointed to act as spokesmen before the Divine Court.

As of today, however, what the few started on May 10 is to manifest in the actions of the rest of the body. We are to begin to walk (or drive) the streets of our communities, towns, and cities--wherever we live--and pray blessing upon every house and property. Much of the land is under a curse because of things that men have done on it throughout past history. We are called to help break those curses and to replace them with God's blessing.

In this way, we are called to bring into the world that which has been done in the spirit (heavens). This job is too big for the few. It must be done by the many. There are already people who have done similar things in the past, so this makes our job that much easier. Anyway, it is time we join with those who have done this in the past and begin to lay claim to every specific piece of property in the world for the Kingdom of God.

This is one aspect of the Elisha work ahead. I had always known that it was a big job--too big for the few--but did not understand precisely how others should be involved in it. Now I am starting to get a greater understanding of it.

In The Bible's Awesome Number Code, Bonnie Gaunt says in a footnote on page 112,

"As the earth revolves on its axis, it is bathed in sunlight once in each revolution. If the path of the sunlight were traced on the diameter of the earth (7,920 miles), it would cover 528 miles in one hour. Thus the true origin of the mile is not of man's making, but is the relationship of light to time, and to the size of the earth and the speed of its rotation."

So let's "walk a mile" in our town (5280 feet, based on the number 528). It will be good exercise for you personally, and it is ministry work for the Kingdom. It is time to make "Jericho" fruitful. Be led by the Spirit in all things--the number one rule. But to bring some focus, here is a model prayer:

Father, let this house and property be part of Your Kingdom. I break every curse upon it in the name of Jesus, and bless it with the presence of Christ. Let it bring forth fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control [Gal. 5:22, 23].

And by the way, if you meet people on the way, you might want to ask them if they have any needs and if they would like you to pray for them.
