Operation Jericho

For the past two evenings, I have been attending planning meetings for Operation Jericho. This is essentially a prophetic prayer campaign to take the Twin Cities for the Kingdom of God. Christians are even now walking, biking, and riding in cars around the highway loop that goes around Minneapolis and St. Paul (Interstates 694 and 494).

This began on September 11 and ends with a rally on September 17 at the Capitol building in St. Paul.

Its primary purpose is to tear down the walls of division in the Church. Hence, Jericho is the Church in this prophetic vision. We have said this for a long time, as I will explain shortly. But first, you may want to listen to Jeff Bremer in the short U-Tube message below. He is the one who caught the vision for Operation Jericho. I have talked with him the past two nights at the planning sessions and am impressed with his pureness of heart.

Ever since the Twin Towers were demolished ten years ago, we have connected the event to Isaiah 30:25, 26,

²⁵ And on every lofty mountain and on every high hill [nations] there will be streams running with water [an outpouring of the Spirit] on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. ²⁶ And the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun. . .

This comes within the context of the prophetic message, telling Israel that they must repent and stop defending themselves against the judgments of God for their sin. Instead of seeking horses from Egypt and military alliances with Egypt, they should be seeking God's protection (30:1-5; 15, 16; 31:1-3).

This ties in with yesterday's weblog about the prophecy of Isaiah 9:11. The prophet says to repent "until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fertile field" (Is. 32:15).

So in Isaiah 30, "the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall" is linked to this outpouring of spiritual "rain." The fall of the Twin Towers is the prophetic sign of the soon-coming "streams running with water." That is why the charis, the NT Greek word for "Grace," has a numeric value of 911. The demolition of the Twin Towers was a 911 call for Grace, as the whole nation prayed, "God Bless America." God fully intends to answer this call by causing us to repent--for this is God's definition of "bless" (Acts 3:25, 26).

Isaiah also gave us another sign in 30:26. It is the sign of a great increase of "light" coming upon the Church. It will increase until the moon is able to reflect the FULL LIGHT OF THE SUN, instead of just a small portion of it. It will be a revelation of Truth.

At the meeting last night, the prophetic speaker said that there will be two angels at the Capitol this Saturday. They are the angels of Truth and Love. Of course, I was wearing my logo shirt, with the motto, "Truth in Love." (I felt like I was in the right place.)

Jeff's revelation was correct when he identified the walls of Jericho with the walls of the Church. We have been saying this for years--that the denominational Church walls had to be broken down in "Jericho." In fact, my office is located in a business center called Moon Plaza. Jericho comes from the Hebrew word yerach, "moon." It is Moon City, and as such, it represents the Church.

For this reason, when the Twin Towers were demolished ten years ago, Ron immediately began to look for a Jericho sign. We really did not see anything then. So we wondered if perhaps we might have to wait for the Hezekiah Factor (10 year cycle) to be completed on Sept. 11, 2011.

Jeff tried to get Operation Jericho off the ground a year ago on Sept. 11, 2010, but failed to do so. I told him that God delayed his project to the appointed time, as usual.

Is it not interesting that the Twin Towers problem would be resolved in the Twin Cities?

Is it not interesting that the Twin Cities represent the biblical tribe of Benjamin, the light to Judah? When the breach in the Kingdom occurred, God gave Benjamin to Judah "that My servant David may have a lamp [light] always before Me in Jerusalem" (1 Kings 11:36). This "light" is about to become much brighter in order to clarify the role of Benjamin by multiplying Truth in Love.

"Benjamin is a ravenous wolf" (Gen. 49:27). So where do you suppose the Timberwolves (professional basketball team) are located? In the Twin Cities, of course.

In ancient times a group of dispersed Israelites of the tribe of Benjamin from Pontus (south shore of the Black Sea) hijacked ships and became pirates of the Mediterranean Sea until driven off by the Romans. They went out through the Straits of Gibraltar and north to Scandinavia, where they became the Vikings, adopting as their "logo" a wolf. So we have the Minnesota Vikings (football) located here as well.

Then, of course, we also host the Minnesota Twins (baseball). The flags ("banners" or "standards") of the twelve tribes in Numbers 2 involved the blessing of Jacob upon the sons, and these correlated also with the twelve signs in the heavens (constellations, which God had named). In the NT counterpart to these twelve tribes are the twelve apostles. Thomas correlates with the tribe of Benjamin, and he was a TWIN. John 11:16 says that "Thomas. . . is called Didymus" (or "twin"). This again connects the tribe of Benjamin with Thomas, the Twin, and finally with the Twin Cities.

And, of course, we cannot forget that St. Paul is named after the apostle who was also of the tribe of Benjamin (Phil. 3:5).

Hence, the Twin Cities reflect all three of the main professional sports teams representing the tribe of Benjamin in some manner, as well as the Apostle Paul. The light comes from Benjamin, and it is no coincidence that the Churches in the Twin Cities are heavily involved in the messianic Jewish movement. They desire to be a light to Judah and only need a bit more light to really understand the full Truth behind that calling.

When the moon can fully reflect the light of the sun, they will know better how to accomplish that calling lawfully.

Last evening's meeting was devoted to planning the meeting at the Capitol building in St. Paul this Saturday. The plan is built around The Seven Churches, since the purpose is to bring down the dividing walls in the Church. There will be 7 people reading their portion of Revelation 2 and 3 in regard to the 7 Churches. Then there will be 7 people to blow a shofar over each Word to the Churches.

I volunteered for the assignment of reading the passage about the 4th church (Thyatira, the Jezebel Church). By the way, I shared for a few minutes how the 7 churches of the Old Testament overlaid with the 7 churches of the New Testament. The problem began in the OT churches, and remnants of the problem were still evident in the NT churches (as stated in Rev. 2, 3). However, the difference is that there are overcomers in Rev. 2, 3 to make the proper corrections at the appointed time.

That is what this is designed to accomplish. When the corrections are made, then the light of the moon will equal the light of the sun. For those of you who want to read more about this, my book on The Seven Churches is posted online at:
