This week the news media has been incensed over the death of a young boy in Aleppo (Syria). Their anger is directed at Russia for its airstrikes in fighting against US-backed “moderate rebels” attempting to overthrow President Assad. The press still refuses to place the blame where it really belongs—on the US administration, which (under President Bush) decided in 2001 to destabilize the Mideast and to overthrow 7 countries in 5 years.
This plan specifically included Syria. Hence, all of the casualties in this war are directly traceable to US aggression against Syria, not to President Assad for defending himself, nor to Russia for assisting him. Certainly, if the roles were reversed, and if Syria or Russia were supporting revolutionaries in the USA, the media would not blame the US government for killing anyone, but would constantly remind us that they were only defending themselves.
If the US (and the mainstream media) truly wanted to end the carnage, they would stop funding and arming the rebels in Syria, and they would tell their counterparts in Saudi Arabia and Qatar to do the same. Instead, they find the young boy quite useful in their propaganda, and as long as the general public is ignorant of the US war plan policy against the seven Mideast nations, the average member of the North American sub-species known as boobus americanus continues to support the quest for American Empire.
Here is a short article about this from Dr. Paul Craig Roberts.

The Aleppo Poster Child
by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
Washington’s media presstitutes are using the image of the child to bring pressure on Russia to stop the Syrian army from retaking Alleppo. http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/17/world/syria-little-boy-airstrike-victim/ Washington wants its so-called moderate rebels to retain Alleppo so that Washington can split Syria in two, thereby keeping a permanent pressure against President Assad.
As for the little boy in the propaganda picture, he does not seem to be badly injured. Let us not forget the tens of thousands of children that Washington’s wars and bombings of 7 Muslim countries have killed without any tears shed by CNN anchors, and let us not forget the 500,000 Iraqi children that the United Nations concluded died as a result of US sanctions against Iraq, children’s deaths that Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said were worth it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omnskeu-puE
Let us not forget that Washington’s determination to overthrow the Syrian government has brought many deaths to Syrians of all age groups. Washington alone is responsible for the deaths. The evil Obama regime has stated over and over that “Assad must go” and is prepared to destroy the country and much of the population in order to get rid of him.
According to the Obama regime, Assad must go because he is a dictator. Washington tells this lie despite the fact that Assad was elected and re-elected and has far higher support among Syrians that Obama has among Americans. Moreover, whatever Washington accuses Assad of doing to Syrians is nothing compared to the death and destruction that Washington brought to Syria.
Perhaps the tragedy of Aleppo could have been avoided if the Russian government had not prematurely declared “mission accomplished” in Syria and withdrawn only to have to rush back after the Russian government was again deceived by Washington.
