On June 23, 2009 we drove from Moab, Utah across the mountains to Colorado Springs, where we were welcomed by our friend, Dean. Before our trip began, Dean had asked me to teach the word at two local groups that he knew. We were led to accept his invitation. It was the final stop before returning to Montana to return the rented car and pick up our own car which, by then, would be fully repaired.
Casting Out Pan from the Black Forest
While visiting with Dean that evening, he told us that we were scheduled to have two meetings the following day, one at 11:00 a.m. and the other in the afternoon and evening. These meetings would be in the Black Forest on the east side of Colorado Springs. They called it the Black Forest, because if you look at it from nearby Pike’s Peak, the forest looks dark—almost black.
It was also named after the Black Forest in Germany—the European home of Pan. Even more interesting was that our meetings were held on Mount Shasta Road in the Black Forest. Having just come against Pan a week earlier at Mount Shasta Caverns (the “Grotto of Pan”), it was obvious that we were to complete that work on Mount Shasta Road in the Black Forest of Colorado Springs. Apparently, we needed a double witness to finish the work.
I taught the word all afternoon at the north end of the Black Forest and then Dean drove us to the other end of the Forest for an evening meeting on Mount Shasta Road. After laying foundations of teaching, we went before the Divine Court about 9:30 p.m. and prayed to break the curse of Pan. We blessed the Black Forest and claimed it for the Kingdom of God, precisely as we had done in California.
I was told also that Anton LaVey (before he died in 1997) had a house in the Black Forest, not far from where we were meeting. He obviously knew that the Black Forest was the home of Pan and saw the spiritual connection between the one in Europe and the other in Colorado. I do not doubt that LaVey had a Satanist group in the Black Forest, and I suspect that they might have named the Mount Shasta Road itself.
By the way, Anton LaVey’s son was later brought to Christ through the ministry of William Sulzer, who was part of the Sacramento group. That took place many years ago, and I do not know whether or not he was able to remain faithful to Christ through the inevitable onslaught of spiritual darkness that he must have had to endure. Perhaps a reader may know and let me know the rest of the story.
Michael Jackson Dies June 25, 2009
We left Colorado Springs late morning the next day, June 25. As we drove north on Interstate 25 toward Denver, I turned the radio on and heard the news that Michael Jackson had just died at the age of 50.
On June 25, 2009, American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofal and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Physician Conrad Murray said that he found Jackson in his room not breathing and with a weak pulse; he administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to no avail, and security called 9-1-1 at 12:21 p.m. Pacific Time Zone (PDT) (UTC-7). Paramedics treated Jackson at the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
His death, of course, was a big surprise and shock to the music world. Though I was not one of his fans, I knew a few things about him that suddenly became significant. He had been in the news in earlier years when he was accused of molesting some boys at his “Neverland Ranch.” His stated purpose was to give them “a magical experience.”
Neverland Ranch was so named because of his obsession with Peter Pan, who, according to the story, was taken to Neverland, a place of perpetual childhood. He also had an obsession with bears.
How Spiritual Warfare Affects Flesh and Blood
When we are led by the Spirit into spiritual warfare, “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but … against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). Nonetheless, those who are allied with those spiritual forces of wickedness are directly affected by such warfare—even as we ourselves feel its effects.
I have often remarked that in spiritual warfare, we thrust our swords into the haystack and see who yells “OUCH!” Since we function on a spiritual level, and our warfare is with the Sword of the Spirit, we usually have no idea who will be affected by our warfare. The people involved are usually hidden in the darkness. It is only when the results are seen that we see who was the fleshly face of the spirits being overthrown or cast down.
If we knew ahead of time who our warfare would affect, this knowledge might cause us to hesitate in our mission. I believe that it is for this reason that God usually hides this knowledge from us until later. If we knew ahead of time, we might take personal responsibility for the results of our warfare, when, in fact, God is the One who is responsible. We do nothing on our own initiative. We just follow the leading of the Spirit.
Was it just a coincidence that on the evening before he died, we had cast out Pan from the Black Forest? Was it a coincidence that this was the culmination of the third sign of Elisha, which portrayed the two bears slashing the 42 “young lads” in 2 Kings 2:24?
Many people are aware that for musicians to become truly rich and famous, they are required to sell their souls to the devil. The music industry is controlled by Satanists, and they will not allow anyone to reach the higher levels of wealth and fame unless they make some sort of pact with the devil. I had been told this personally by a young man who once aspired to be a musician. He refused to do this, and so he was never able to get into the music industry.
In Michael Jackson’s case, it has been reported that he went this route and that his famous “white glove” was the symbol of his pledge. But in more recent years, Jackson had encountered some difficulties and had been forced to sell his Neverland Ranch in 2008. He was planning another world tour (50 concerts) in July 2009, to revive his career and perhaps earn about $400 million.
His last and most successful tour began on September 7, 1996 and ended October 15, 1997—shortly before Anton LaVey died. At that time, we declared the 120th Jubilee from Adam (September 23, 1996) and began the “Dragon Wars” (1996-1999).
Finishing the Trip
Our mission to overcome the curse of the two bears ended properly in Colorado Springs on June 24, 2009. This was precisely 5 years from the same date in 2004, when I cast Baphomet out of Lori. Recall that she had been dedicated to Satan at an early age by her Masonic parents and had been troubled for many years until she was delivered at my office.
The coincidence may not mean anything, but since I do not believe in coincidences, I think it is significant. First we overthrew Baphomet, the god of Freemasonry, and 5 years later we overthrew Pan, or Azazel and claimed the Black Forest for the Kingdom. It is as if the first incident laid the foundations for the second, one building upon the other.
Azazel attempts to counterfeit the feast of Tabernacles by offering immortality (perpetual childhood) to those who bow to him. Pan causes men to seek transformation and transfiguration by force, by fear, and by rebellion against the lawful King of the World. That is the spiritual lesson of Peter Pan in Neverland. But we follow the leading of Peniel, the angel of Tabernacles, whose calling is to make our face shine with the glory of God (Psalm 80:3, 7, 19). With Peniel is the Amen angel, whose calling is to bring us into full agreement with Christ.
June 24 is the day that the Roman church honors John the Baptist. To us, John was “Elijah,” but in 2009 we were doing the work of Elisha. On June 24, 2009 we finished the work of Elisha’s third miracle-sign in regard to the two bears.
We then drove to Billings, Montana, where we picked up our own car, and then drove back to Miles City, where we spent the night at a hotel. The next day we drove home to Minneapolis, arriving at 8:30 p.m. on June 26, 2009.
