Texas passed a law recently forbidding abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which essentially bans abortions as early as 6 weeks into a pregnancy.
The abortionists appealed to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court declined to hear the case, which allowed the Texas law to stand. The law is now in effect.
Now Portland, Oregon, a Democrat stronghold, is cutting business ties with Texas.
People are demonstrating in the streets, claiming that abortion is a “fundamental right.” It is obvious that they have never read the Declaration of Independence, under whose authority our constitution was written. The Constitution says that all rights come from God alone, and the Supreme Court has interpreted it in this way a number of times.
I can find no abortion rights in Scripture. In fact, parents are not given the right to kill their own children. If people are granted such “rights,” these are mere government privileges, not fundamental rights.
This is part of the all-out war that is now taking place in America. It is not a conventional war (at least not at this point), but it is certainly the final war that God Himself is waging against Mystery Babylon. Revelation 16 says that God is gathering the nations of Mystery Babylon to a place called Armageddon. This is not a physical location, though there are Old Testament types which occurred at specific locations. Today we are in a world-wide battle that involves virtually all nations.
We are confident that God will win, because we have already seen victory by the Spirit in past years. All the spiritual warfare that we did in the past is now seeing results.
The Texas law is only one tiny part of this warfare. It is a war that has many fronts. Nonetheless, Texas has struck at the heart of their human sacrifice, which is very sacred to the abortionists.
