The saints prepare to rule, part 21

On June 20-22, 2011, we took a family vacation with our daughter and her family to see the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. We intended to take an island cruise, but the cruises were cancelled due to a storm.

At the time, I had looked forward to this, realizing that this was really about being sent out as apostles ten years after our prayer campaign in 2001 called He is Building Effective Apostleship. When the cruise was cancelled, it was apparent that this apostolic work was being delayed.

We waited another five years (2011-2016). Then in February 2016 we took a trip to New Zealand and Australia. When we arrived in Australia, we visited The Twelve Apostles on February 25, 2016. These are islands in a national park on the south coast of Australia. It was a beautiful day, and we took note that it was a sign that the apostolic work was being opened up.

A few months later, having been invited to a 3-day retreat on Madeline Island (one of the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior), we knew that this was a further sign of the soon-coming apostolic work. On May 22, 2016 we finally went on that island cruise. The day was just as clear and beautiful as it had been in Australia.

I have found that God does many things in 10-year cycles with the midpoints also being important. The prayer campaign for “Effective Apostleship” occurred in 2001. The delay for this apostolic mission began in 2011. Five years later (2016) the sign of Apostleship was seen first in Australia and then at the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. But more preparations still had to be made for another 5 years until 2021.

The Darkness of This World

The importance of this apostolic work was seen a few days later on June 1, 2016, when the tunnel opened from Switzerland to Germany. The opening ceremony was totally Satanic, invoking Baphomet.

This defined the huge problem that this apostolic work would have to confront. The world has been taken over by Satanists. Even the opening ceremonies of the Olympic games present the plans that the occultists have for the world.

We know that the whole world dwells in darkness, but we have the promise of God that “those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a light dawned” (Matthew 4:16).

We are being sent out as apostles for the Kingdom of God to oppose and destroy the Babylonian plan for a New World Order in which Satan rules the world. God has an alternate plan for a New World Order, ruled by Jesus Christ, and we are called to promote His right to rule and work to establish His Kingdom.

A Common Purpose

One of the most intriguing prophecies in regard to the overthrow of Mystery Babylon (the great harlot) is found in Revelation 17:15-17,

¹⁵ And he said to me, “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. ¹⁶ And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. ¹⁷ For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose [gnomay, “view, opinion, judgment”] by having a common purpose [gnomay], and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled.

The great harlot can only abuse the beast for so long before the beast turns on her and eats her flesh. The harlot rules by fear, but this works only until the beast loses its fear. Then the beast’s hatred takes over, and then God and the beast have “a common purpose” in destroying the harlot. This is an interesting manifestation of the sovereignty of God, and it prophesies that the rulers of Mystery Babylon will be overthrown by the very people that she rules by fear and injustice.

So we see that the apostolic work will not require us to overthrow the beast nations as such. Instead, we will join forces with them, having a common purpose in establishing liberty and justice for all. We are now (2021) seeing this come to pass. The nations, having been ruled by the great harlot for a long time, are now waking up and are beginning to turn to the apostles for aid in overthrowing their wicked masters.

Few believers (and prophecy teachers) have been able to comprehend such a thing, for they assume that the nations are all fighting against Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. The truth is that the nations are waking up to the fact that they have been drunk with the wine of Babylon and were carrying out the harlot’s commands that were not in their own best interests.

The Desire of Nations

The people of the world just want peace, and they want to have the opportunity to keep the fruits of their own labor instead of giving most of it as taxes to their slave masters. They were blind to the principles of biblical law, which show the path toward true freedom and prosperity. But their eyes are now being opened—even if they do not yet know Jesus Christ.

God knew, and the prophets have foretold this, saying, for example, in Haggai 2:7 KJV,

⁷ And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

This is a reference to the first gospel, the one written in the stars in the form of “signs” (Genesis 1:14), which speak of “the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1). The constellation Coma (the woman and child), which accompanies Virgo, the Virgin, is today known commonly as Bernice’s Hair. However, in the ancient zodiacs, the constellation was called “The Desired,” or “The One Longed For.” This name was used in Haggai 2:7 above.

“The ancient Egyptians called it the desired son. The Persian name of this young woman denotes a pure virgin who is on a throne, nourishing an infant boy having a Hebrew name, by some nations called Ihesu, with the signification Ieza, which in Greek is called Christos. This constellation indicates that the coming ‘branch’ in the hands of Virgo would be the desire of all nations.” (The Stars Declare God’s Handiwork, by Howard Rand, page 4, Destiny Publishers)

Psalm 67:3, 4 says,

³ Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. ⁴ Let the nations be glad and sing for joy; for You will judge the peoples with uprightness and guide the nations on the earth. Selah.

We are coming into the time of the more “effective” apostles. The original twelve apostles were called to be “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). The nations of the world are the great fishpond. But we have an added responsibility of ruling with the Dominion Mandate, to “judge the peoples with uprightness and guide the nations on the earth.”

The earth will then sing for joy as it brings forth the fruit of righteousness (Psalm 67:6). Creation will then fulfil the purpose for which it was created.
