On September 2, 2022 Gazprom shut down the Nordstream 1 gas pipeline indefinitely.
The Russian energy major Gazprom extended the shutdown of gas flows through its key Nord Stream 1 pipeline to Germany on Friday evening, providing no timeframe for a reopening.
The move came hours after G7 countries agreed to impose a price cap on Russian oil in an attempt to stem the flow of funds to Vladimir Putin’s regime.
Gazprom, the state-owned oil and gas firm, said supplies would remain halted indefinitely after a leak was detected. It said the pipeline would not restart until repairs were fully implemented.
Nord Stream 1 is the single biggest pipeline for gas from Russia to Europe and has the capacity to deliver 55bn cubic metres (bcm) of gas a year. Continued supplies through the pipeline are seen as crucial to prevent a deepening of the energy crisis.
In a statement on Telegram, Gazprom said: “Gas transportation to the Nord Stream gas pipeline has been completely halted until the complaints on the operation of the equipment have been eliminated.”
The excuse given is that a turbine needs maintenance. Few believe that. The real reason seems to be a retaliation against the G7 countries who are trying to impose a price cap on Russian oil.
In other words, the G7 is trying to dictate to Russia the price of Russian oil instead of going by the world market price caused by their sanctions.
The G7 wants to maintain its sanctions without consequences. The G7 seems to be ruled by children. The result will be that, because of their sanctions, their energy companies will have to continue buying Russian oil indirectly from China or India. This alone will double the cost of energy. But the energy companies will not be allowed to pass on those costs to consumers. The energy companies will then shut down or go bankrupt.
Then, I suppose, the government will have to subsidize (or bail out) the energy companies with taxpayer funds, and then raise taxes to pay for it. The bottom line is that energy bills will go down, but tax rates will more than make up for it. Yet the governments like this, because higher tax rates gives more power to the governments. Only the people suffer.
Governments are now playing the Patriot Card, asking the people to endure a cold winter in order to support “Ukrainian freedom.” France’s Macron says that the era of abundance is ending.
What could possibly go wrong? We have to support Ukraine even if it shuts down businesses in Europe and brings them back to the Dark Ages.
The West has unsuccessfully demanded that China and India stop buying Russian oil and gas to support the sanctions. If they push hard enough, Asia will soon be the light on a hill. They will be the only ones who can keep the lights on. America will do better, because in spite of the Bidenista regime’s policy of making America poor again, we are still far more energy self sufficient than Europe.
In fact, I wonder if America has resurrected its post-World War 2 plan to destroy Germany’s industry. That plan was designed to benefit American businesses, and it took decades for Germany to recover.
Personally, I think that these bad policies will soon force Germany to become allies with Russia and that this will destroy the European Union. Already there are huge protests all over Europe which are not being reported in the mainstream press. The yellow vest protests in France and the farmer protests in The Netherlands are now spreading to Belgium.
Serbia too is demonstrating on behalf of traditional family values to counter the Babylonian ideals of the World Economic Forum.
The tide is turning against Mystery Babylon. Babylon has only a bleak future to offer Europe. They fear Russia, because it took the lead against Babylon’s destruction of family values. That is the reason the Rothschilds consider the Ukraine war to be an existential battle. It is not just a dispute between two countries. Babylon’s very existence is at stake, and they are using the mainstream media to support their ungodly “values.”
Yet Babylon’s end has come. It is only a matter of time. Babylon lost its divine mandate in October of 2017, and I have long believed that it would take 7 years for the collapse to be complete. The year 2024 is 7 x 490 years after Joshua crossed the Jordan.
The world is about to enter Blessed Time, and God’s Kingdom is about to displace the long Babylonian captivity.
