On the first of October, I wrote a weblog entitled, “The next six weeks.” This was to alert you to the big changes that I expect will take place from October 1 to November 14, 2022. This alert is based mainly on the prayer campaign that we fought from November 1-14, 2001, which was 21 years ago. It was called Entering the Millennium of Rest.
We are receiving growing indications and confirmations that point to November 1-14 once again as being a time of great importance. It appears that whatever happens in October will merely be the setup for the events in the first half of November. October events may shock the world, but November events will be most relevant to us.
The Debt Note
You may want to re-read The Debt Note in Prophecy to know what God is doing now. God planted a vineyard in Canaan when Joshua led Israel into the Promised Land (Isaiah 5:1, 2). The fruits of that vineyard, however, were bitter and worthless. In Matthew 21:33-46 Jesus enlarged our understanding of the vineyard prophecy in Isaiah, showing us that the husbandmen (trustees of the vineyard-Kingdom) had usurped the Kingdom and had stolen its fruits for their own use.
Thus, God is still requiring the fruits of the Kingdom to this day. The original husbandmen (Judah) was disqualified, because they killed God’s servants, the prophets (Matthew 21:35, 36) and finally killed the Son as well (Matthew 21:37, 38, 39). The verdict is seen in Matthew 21:40, 41, 42, 43), where He was to remove those ungodly stewards and replace them with “a people producing the fruit.”
Daniel calls these people “the saints of the Most High.” The New Testament refers to them as the sons of God. They are known by their fruits.
Back in 1996, when we were led to declare the Jubilee, we also petitioned the divine court to be given the Fruitfulness Mandate, promising to render to God the fruits of the Kingdom that He required. This petition was made on behalf of all the true sons of God (overcomers). God granted our request and soon began to move in that direction.
The Debt Note Passed to Others
The first major move was to establish the house of Joseph, beginning in 2001, because “Joseph is a fruitful bough (ben, “son”)” (Genesis 49:22). Joseph was given the birthright (1 Chronicles 5:2), which was the Fruitfulness Mandate. In other words, the fruits of the Kingdom—particularly the birthing of the sons of God—would come through Joseph and no one else. That is why Jesus comes the second time with His robe dipped in blood (Genesis 37:31; Revelation 19:13).
Bringing forth the sons of God is what pays the debt and satisfies God’s desire and purpose for creation. This is what defines the debt note that Adam incurred when he first sinned. He incurred a debt that he could not pay, and the earth itself has been indebted to God since that time. God called Israel and planted them in Canaan in the time of Joshua. However, they failed as a nation to render the fruits of the Kingdom to God, so God took it from them and gave it to Babylon for a season. Babylon failed, so the debt note was passed down to Persia, then Greece, then Rome, and finally, the “little horn” extension of Rome that we know today as the Vatican.
These “gentile” nations cannot say to God: “Well, if you had given us the opportunity, we would have brought forth the fruits of the Kingdom.” No, God gave a large cross-section of “gentiles” this Fruitfulness Mandate, but they too failed and are without excuse.
I am well aware of the fact that Jesus gave His life on the cross to pay the debt for Adam’s sin. He completed His first work at that time by fulfilling the Spring feasts from Passover to Pentecost. But there is another set of feasts to fulfill at the time of His second coming. This is what we are seeing today as the time approaches.
The first work of Christ was done to beget the sons of God so that they could be manifested (“unveiled”) at the time of His second coming. You have to have sons of God first in order to unveil them. When unveiled, the glory that is now in them will be manifested to all. The pattern is seen in Christ, who was called the Son of God (Luke 1:35) from the beginning, but who was not manifested (transfigured) until He did so on Mount Hermon (Matthew 17:1, 2).
So also is it with us. It is a two-step process, defined and prophesied through the Autumn feasts.
The Israeli State
The Final nation to receive the Debt Note prior to the saints of the Most High was the Israeli state in 1948. If you study my book, The Struggle for the Birthright, you will note that the Israeli state is an Edomite state, not Israel or even Judah. It was the point where Isaac’s prophecy was fulfilled in Genesis 27:40, which said that in the end, Esau would break Jacob’s “yoke” from off his neck.
In other words, because Jacob took the birthright from Esau in an unlawful manner (by lying, Genesis 27:32), the verdict was that Jacob would have to return the birthright to Esau. Since Esau was the firstborn, he had the legal right to the birthright and could not be disinherited until he had time to prove himself to be unworthy.
So in 1948 the Union Jack flag of Britain was lowered, and the new Israeli flag of Esau-Edom was raised, signifying that the Birthright had been returned to the modern representatives of Edom. (Edom had been absorbed into Jewry in 126 B.C., so world Jewry from then on had two sets of prophecies to fulfill: Judah and Edom).
The timing was perfect. 1948 was precisely 8 x 414 years since Israel’s first captivity to the king of Mesopotamia (Babylon) in Judges 3:8. See my book, Secrets of Time. That 8-year original Babylonian captivity set the pattern for 8 cycles of Cursed Time (414), which ended in 1948. Then, by this pattern, Babylon was usurped by Edom, even as, long ago, Esau had killed Nimrod and usurped his garments by which he was given power to rule the nations. That story is told in the book of Jasher.
Prophetically speaking, Esau again “killed” Nimrod in 1948 and took his garments. God allowed this first to judge Jacob for lying to his father Isaac. Secondly, Esau had to be given time to prove himself unworthy of the birthright before he could be lawfully stripped of it.
In 1996 we recognized that Esau had been holding the birthright (and usurping the name Israel) for 46 years (1947/48-1993/94). Just as it took 46 years to build Herod’s temple (John 2:20), so also did God give the Israeli state 46 years in which to build the true temple. They failed, partly because they thought God wanted a physical temple in Jerusalem, rather than the spiritual temple set forth in Ephesians 2:20-22. Yet even then, they failed to build a physical temple as well.
Cleansing Time
Eight cycles of Cursed Time (414 years each) ended in 1948, and then we entered into a 76-year time of cleansing. The biblical number of cleansing is 76, and so this takes us to the year 2024, which is fast approaching. God has been using this 76-year cleansing cycle, I believe, to deal with Esau-Edom, that is, the Israeli state.
The year 2024 is extremely important to the world as a whole, as it is also 70 Jubilees since Joshua crossed the Jordan River into the Promised Land. (It is also 7 x 490 years, which puts the earth on Blessed Time.) Just as 414 is the number of Cursed Time, so also is 490 Blessed Time.
What we are seeing in the next few weeks is preparatory to 2024. God is redeeming the world on a practical level that will affect all nations. The time has come for Christ to lay claim to the nations that He redeemed at the cross. This great redemption is shaping up to take place in November to prepare the way for the great Jubilee in 2024.
This is not the Creation Jubilee dating from Adam but has two alternative starting points. This was explained with a chart in the Foundation For Intercession issue #388 (November 2020). The first starting point, as I said, is the Jordan Crossing Jubilee dating from the time of Joshua. The second one begins 42 years later with the first captivity to the king of Mesopotamia, where we see that 7 x 414 years later comes to 1948, followed by a 76-year time of cleansing to bring us into Blessed Time (414 plus 76 equals 490).
So it appears that this main redemptive process is now beginning in 2022 but will conclude about 2 years from now in 2024—most likely at the time of the Autumn feasts. It is comparable to Israel’s redemption from Egypt in the year 2448, which was to prepare them to enter the Promised Land two years later in 2450. The year 2450 was the 50th Jubilee from Adam.
The redemption must come first, followed by entering the Promised Land. These two events do not occur at the same time, any more than the Spring feasts are to be kept at the same time as the Autumn feasts. No, we must understand the progressive nature of revelation and of prophecy.
The Saints of the Most High
In the days of Joshua, the revelation was limited to a single nation taking possession of the tiny strip of land called Canaan. It was an Old Covenant type and shadow of something much bigger that God intended under the power of the New Covenant. Back then, He redeemed a small piece of land; now He is redeeming the whole world to fulfill His purpose for dying on the cross (John 3:16; 12:31, 32; 1 John 2:2).
Most of the revelation during the time of the Old Covenant focused upon the redemption of Israel. But our Redeemer came not only of the seed of Abraham to redeem Israel, but also came through flesh and blood to redeem all of humanity (Hebrews 2:14). By the laws of redemption, Christ had to be a close relation in order to have the right of redemption (Leviticus 25:25). Friends could redeem friends, as long as the slave master agreed to it; but the slave master did not have a choice in the matter when a near kinsman claimed the right of redemption.
The world is not being redeemed by its own choice but by the will of its near Kinsman, who came in the form of flesh and blood so that He might claim the right of redemption, according to His lawful rights. (See our book If God Could Save Everyone, Would He?)
Daniel 7 prophesies about a series of empires, pictured as various beasts, to whom the Dominion Mandate was to be given (in succession) prior to the rise of the saints of the Most High. We are now living in the time of the rising saints, who are laying claim to the birthright—the Dominion Mandate and its responsibility, the Fruitfulness Mandate.
The “saints” are not those who claim a physical genealogy back to Adam or Abraham, or Israel. Physical genealogy only produces children of the flesh (Galatians 4:28, 29). The true saints are the sons of God, begotten by the Spirit through Abrahamic faith, and given a new name Israel after wrestling with the angel.
As we approach the year 2024, let us be aware and watchful as we see world events unfold. The Kingdom has been within us for a long time, but now it is soon to be manifested. Will we actually see the manifestation of the sons of God in 2024? It is beginning to look as though this is on the calendar, but, as always, we will have to wait and see. Regardless of what happens then, we know that 2024 will be very important and will mark a big change.
But please, don’t tell everyone that I said Christ will come in 2024. It is just a major watch date.
