The month of July has always been packed with prophetic significance throughout the years. The original revelation from more than 40 years ago was that “July is like September.” We have seen that some event in July is a precursor to a greater event on the same day in September.
Likewise, July 9-15 is a time to watch, dating back to 2010. On July 9, 2010 we cast barley meal into the headwaters of the Mississippi River to deal with the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Recall that the oil spill was capped 144 hours later on July 15. This fulfilled the 8th miracle-sign of Elisha (2 Kings 4:38-41), completing the first half of the Elisha signs.
From my present perspective, it appears that we are now in the midst of seeing Elisha’s 9th sign, which is the start of his double portion (9-16). It appears that God is picking up where He left off 13 years ago. Meanwhile, God was not idle during this interim. We saw many indicators and partial fulfillments of the 9th sign, which confirmed that we were still on the right track in spite of the long delay. We should know for sure by the end of this week where we stand prophetically.
Also, since July is the seventh month on our western calendar, it has also served to foreshadow the autumn feast days. July 1 is like the feast of Trumpets; July 10 is like the Day of Atonement; and July 15-22 is like the feast of Tabernacles. It is interesting that July 9-15 leads into the season of Tabernacles, so I will be watching to see what God does during this time.
One of these dates in particular may trigger the “July is like September” parallel event that foreshadows some event in September.
We are looking into the feasibility of hosting a Tabernacles conference in early October. At this point, there are obstacles that would need to be overcome, but you should know that we have not given up on feast-day conferences. We will do what God permits, as Paul would say.
An enormous amount of progress has been made behind the scenes in recent months in regard to establishing the Kingdom in the earth. God has been doing the negative work of overthrowing Babylon, while giving us the more pleasant (positive) task of building the Kingdom. I can report the happy news that we have angered some very powerful Babylonians, who have called my friend John to let him know their displeasure. Yesterday a top Babylonian banker was worried enough to call him to glean information. Please continue to pray for John, as he has been targeted by some very dangerous future believers.
I cannot say more right now, but I believe that we will soon see significant changes in the world. August seems to be the month that that long-scheduled bank collapse will take place. My feeling is that the trigger for this is an event in China, not necessarily related to Taiwan. China is having problems with their banking sector as well, after a few years of real estate collapses. The West was hoping that China could lead the rest of the world out of recession, but in fact the rest of the world is pulling China into the problem.
The world system is out of answers. They know that a debt-money system is mortal, and they are now staring into the abyss. We hold the solution to their problem, but they don’t want to switch sides and support Kingdom principles. Nonetheless, God will force their hand, as only He can do. Only the most rabid Satanists among them will resist God to the end.
Meanwhile, we have noted that God has use for everyone. If Caiaphas could prophesy (John 11:49-51), and if Balaam could prophesy, then surely God is not hindered by men’s unbelief or corruption. We have found surprising support for the Kingdom from unbelievers as well as believers. Some of these people are incapable of protecting themselves from spiritual attacks, so this is where we suffer from some vulnerability. Some have been hurt and even killed.
We learned by experience many years ago that when their attacks cannot harm us, they search for alternative targets in order to expend the energy that must go somewhere. Their attacks, then, are often deflected from us, but they hit secondary targets—people who are vulnerable. So put on your spiritual armor and draw near to Christ. The battle is real, but Jesus is realer.
