Tabernacles Conference

The new block of 20 hotel rooms in Rapid City at $129/night will be available beginning Monday, August 21. Sorry, it would have been sooner, but I did not realize until yesterday that I had to sign a separate agreement to that effect.

If these 20 rooms get filled, there may still be a room available, but it will have to be at the regular price of $175/night.

Pakistan

In eastern Pakistan, there was a rumor (or allegation) that a Christian had torn out some pages from a Koran. I do not know if this actually happened, but it sparked a violent backlash, where some churches were destroyed.

Pastor Fiaz sent me some videos of the mayhem as well, but these do not add anything to the article above. Today Fiaz wrote to me, saying,

“Today we are going to Jaralwala, where 28 churches and 300 houses have been burnt. Please keep our trip in your prayers.”

Fiaz will assist in whatever way he can. When he returns, no doubt we will get an update on this situation.

Moving

On Tuesday, August 22, we will begin moving the office to a new temporary location. We wanted to move last week, but our insurance application was not approved until yesterday. We could not conclude the contract for the new office location until we produced proof of insurance. Now that we have sent this to the new landlord, we are able to move.

My office has been boxed up for the past week, so we are ready for this move. I have been somewhat hindered, because I do not have easy access to my records or to the reference books in my library. For this reason, I have refrained from doing any serious Bible study weblogs this past week. I doubt if I will do a weblog next Tuesday, as everything will be shut down for the day. Hopefully, we will complete everything in a day and have internet hookup and access as well.

Any letters sent to the old address will be forwarded to the new location. I also plan to get a Post Office box number for you to use. I will let you know that PO box when I get it.

Once we are in the new temporary location, we will be able to start thinking about a more permanent place.

New Ministry

Back in August of 1984, I was given a word from the Lord: “August 20 is your ministry date.” That word has puzzled me for 39 years. When I went back into the ministry in 1991, August 20 was not a factor. When we moved to Minneapolis in August of 1996, it was close, but not particularly important. Now it appears that it is being fulfilled.

Tomorrow is August 20, 2023. A few of us are being called to the divine court to deal with the world situation as it relates to this new “ministry date.” God drew our attention to August 20 by linking it to the Women’s World Soccer finals in Australia on the same date. There is more to this than I can explain here.

It is of interest that we will be moving immediately after this. The timing of this move suggests that this is a marker for the starting point of something much bigger in relation to the ministry itself. Likewise, August 22—the date of our actual move—happens to be the day that my wife and I made New Covenant vows in Victoria, Texas back in 1997. I’m not sure why, but no doubt this will be clarified later. This year August 22 is the start of the BRICS conference in South Africa. Somehow, world events are intertwined with us.

Further, I had a text message from Milton Lee (in Hawaii) yesterday, informing me that a cousin from Australia named Elisha was arriving on American soil the same day (August 18). Any sign of Elisha has to be taken seriously.

Much has been happening behind the scenes lately. I have been given a special window of information into world financial events this year. I can only tell you that virtually all of the big banks around the world are insolvent, and their top officials are desperate. But while they fall, the Kingdom of God is rising.

On August 29, 1984, I had a vision of a great light over South Africa, moving north along the east coast. This vision came in the context of Ye Shall Go Forth prayer campaign that properly began on August 20, 1984. We are now beginning to see the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:3,

³ Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

If you knew what has been happening recently, you would be greatly encouraged. In just the past week, we have seen huge events that fulfill some very old revelation. And many past experiences, which made us wonder why God was putting us through such difficulties, are now being explained. The coincidences are piling up faster than we can count.
