The Israeli invasion of Gaza has been put on pause, if ever so slightly, as Netanyahu’s policy of ethnic cleansing and expulsion of Palestinians seems to have run into too much resistance.

The policy itself, of course, is not official in that Netanyahu himself has not yet admitted it in public. However, two of his henchmen have openly called for this policy, even though it is a classic war crime as defined by the UN. In fact, for this reason, they are describing it as a policy of “voluntary emigration,” by which they mean, “If you do not volunteer to leave, we will turn your cities into rubble and kill you.”

The US is feeling more and more isolated in the world these days, after expressing support for Israel’s invasion of Gaza. It seems that they miscalculated, thinking that the news media could justify the slaughter of women and children by calling them all “Hamas terrorists.” One big problem is that in the past few years the news media itself has been discredited, and millions of people now see through their manipulations through name-calling.
The diplomatic pressure is mounting, and it is only a matter of time before the nations being bribed by financial aid look for other allies.
The US State Department has found it necessary to rebuke Netanyahu for promoting this policy of ethnic cleansing.

Yet it continues to provide military and financial aid to the Israelis, so no country in the world actually believes what they say. Every new member of the House of Representatives is asked to sign a paper giving allegiance to the Israeli state, and they if they refuse, the party will not fund their reelection campaigns.
President Macron of France is also feeling the pressure and has joined the US in warning the Israelis to stop its ethnic cleansing plan.

The destruction of Gaza is taking longer than the Israelis have planned. Time is working against them, especially as Palestinian casualties mount daily, and Hamas is still not eliminated. Further, the Israeli economy is under severe strain as well. So they are withdrawing in order to regroup, and Netanyahu is promising a much longer war. It remains to be seen if he will have the luxury of time before world pressure cuts off financial support for the war.
Israelis are used to quick wars. What will public opinion do with a protracted war? The goals on each side of the conflict are different. The Israeli goal is to eliminate Hamas and incorporate Gaza as part of Israel. The Hamas goal is simply to survive, to outlast the Israelis. It will be far easier for Hamas to achieve its goal than for the Israelis to achieve theirs.
On top of this, Netanyahu enjoys only 15% support among the Israeli public. That is far lower even than Biden in America. Netanyahu has been under investigation for years, and most Israelis view him as a corrupt politician. There are deep divisions, even in the midst of a war.
While the Israeli army is regrouping, the USS Gerald Ford strike group is withdrawing from the Mediterranean to return to Norfolk, VA. While this withdrawal is explained as a prescheduled return to base, it is being widely perceived as a signal that Israel is losing US military support. Believe what you will, but the coincidence of timing has created this perception.
Keep in mind that perceptions often trump reality, just as men’s interpretations of Scripture often differ from the Scriptures themselves.
The big danger, of course, is that the US will provoke a shooting war with Iran. Neocons like John Bolton have been trying to instigate such a war since US troops took over the eastern part of Syria and began stealing its oil. Then when anyone fought back, the news media told just half the story and blamed Iran for attacking US troops! Question: what are US troops doing there in the first place? Who are the real terrorists?
This all goes back to 2002 when General Wesley Clark was told that the US government was going to overthrow 7 Mideast countries in 5 years. Syria was to be taken down right after Iraq.

This was, in fact, a declaration of war against 7 countries. That plan ultimately was blocked by the Russians who destroyed the US/UK creature known as ISIS. But anyone that tried to resist the US invasion of Syria and the other countries was labeled a terrorist. One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.
It is a war of words and language to create favorable perceptions that differ from reality. It allows us to invade countries while making it look like self-defense. But such propaganda has been overused and many people are no longer being fooled by it. The old New World Order is steadily losing ground, and a new New World Order is looming. The West is fading and losing power; the East is rising steadily. While many fear this, I see it as God’s way of destroying Babylon by preparing the way for the kings of the east (Revelation 16:12).
Few people today have a clear vision of what that New Order will look like. If we believe Bible prophecy, we will believe that the Kingdom is coming. If not, then each has his own view of how things will turn out. You know where I stand on this.
