When I went to the hospital for tests in mid-January, the doctor diagnosed me has having a rare condition called diabetic amyotrophy.

This involves nerve damage in the legs which affects the muscles. Nerve damage takes a long time to heal naturally. They say this condition tends to worsen for 4-6 months, then plateau for a few months, and then recover for more months. For me, this started in August 2023. I was still on a downward slide at the Tabernacles conference in Rapid City last October. I now seem to be in the plateau stage, where the condition is no longer getting worse, but neither is it improving much yet.
Meanwhile, I do exercises to prevent further muscle atrophy. I have not been to the office since mid-December, but my sons carry on the office work. As long as I have access to a computer from home, I can continue my own work. The stairs at home made me reluctant to go home, but we purchased a battery-powered chair that one person can use to carry me up and down stairs.
This chair can also take me outside to the car, so that I can be driven to the doctor’s office when necessary. So I can get around, though slowly. I use a walker to get around at home.
The UK government is in turmoil at the present time, especially with the resignation of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid. [NOTE: Sorry, this is old news from 2022.]

King Charles’ terminal illness only adds to the uncertainty.
Israeli PM Netanyahu is doubling down on his policy of ethnic cleansing, according to his own post. He complains that no other country is willing to take the people of Gaza as refugees—as if others are responsible to clean up after him. It has long been the Israeli policy to deny any Palestinian re-entry once they leave the territory.

France’s Macron is now threatening to send 2,000 troops to Ukraine. Other European leaders are telling him to stop, but so far he is not listening. He seems determined to push for an all-out war between Russia and NATO. Macron himself is desperate because Russian troops continue to make gains, especially after taking the massive underground bunker at Avdiivka.
He is willing to risk a wider war just to be able to include Ukraine in NATO. Everyone knows that if Ukraine joined NATO, it would be a tactical victory, whereas for Russia it would be an existential threat. Europe should never have treated a Ukraine victory as if Europe’s future survival depended on it. But because they chose to do so, now the entire prestige of Europe and the USA are at stake.
It appears to me that God has hardened the heart of Pharaoh once again in order to end the madness once and for all.
As we have seen in Europe, the government is determined to save us by shutting down farms, other than big corporate farms, of course.

This should add new impetus to the idea that the farm counties in eastern Oregon will leave Oregon and join the state of Idaho.
