If you have been following the news, you are aware that the world seems very close to World War 3, which might easily culminate in a nuclear exchange. There are powerful forces that are working toward this end, some of them motivated by the desire for power, while others being motivated by religious apocalyptic beliefs.
I have long stated periodically that I have no personal revelation of a “world” war; all of my revelation is about a regional war in the Middle East, wherein Jerusalem is destroyed and the lands of Israel and Palestine no longer inhabitable. This is based on Isaiah 29:1-6, where we see a nuclear blast upon “Ariel” (a poetic name for Jerusalem) and Jeremiah 19:10, 11, where we are told that the city will no longer be able to be repaired.
Most evangelical Christians interpret Ezekiel 38 and 39 to mean that Magog is Russia and that Russia will attack the land of Israel. They do not realize that Magog is the Khazar nation, which was, at one time, centered in Ukraine. One ally of Magog is Togarmah (Ezekiel 38:6), who is the father of Khazar, according to a letter that Joseph, the king of the Khazars, wrote to a Spanish Jew in 960 A.D.
Togarmah was the son of Gomer and was the brother of Ashkenaz (Genesis 10:3). The Khazars themselves are known to this day as the Ashkenazim Jews who immigrated from Russia to Israel a century ago as Zionists. An estimated 80 percent of Israeli Jews are Ashkenazim from Russia. They were converted to Judaism in 640 A.D. under King Bulan, says The Jewish Encyclopedia, so their ancestors never lived in Palestine.
Hence, the so-called “Russian” invasion of the land of Israel in Ezekiel 38 already occurred a century ago. It was an invasion of immigrants, not an invasion of uniformed troops. Because the church was (and still is) largely ignorant of the history of the Khazar empire, they failed to see what was happening, and so they misinterpreted Ezekiel 38 and 39.
To speak plainly, Ezekiel 38 was fulfilled through Ashkenazi immigrants from Russia who were descended from the Khazar converts to Judaism 1400 years ago. Today we live in the time of Ezekiel 39, which speaks of their fall and destruction through war.
God has a way of overlaying one prophecy upon another. The Khazar occupation of the land of Israel is overlaid upon the prophecy of Edom and also upon the prophecy of the fig tree of Judah that was to bring forth more leaves (Matthew 24:32-34). These are things that I have written about many times in the past. Each of these streams of prophecy do not end well for them.
Many Christians have been taught that in this coming war only a few Israelis will survive to see the coming of Christ and that, when they see Him coming, they will be converted suddenly. So they pay for Jews to immigrate to Israel and then goad them by extreme Zionistic views into going to war with their neighbors. They claim to love the Jews, while at the same time they send them into the meat grinder. It makes no sense, unless you realize that they are inciting violence in order to bring about the second coming of Christ.
There is a similar view among the Orthodox Jews as well, especially in the settler movement—those who have illegally grabbed hilltop land in Palestinian territory. They too have an apocalyptic view of Scripture, probably citing the same passages that Christians cite, which motivates them to desire an all-out war with Iran. Hence, they do all they can to provoke Iran into attacking them so that they have an excuse to destroy Iran and to take over all Palestinian land as well as Lebanon.
God has deceived them into thinking that the end result will see Israel triumphant and the eradication of Palestinians from all land that “Greater Israel” occupies. Few people understand Isaiah 29:7, 8, which tells us that when the dust settles, no one will get that land. It will be too radioactive for anyone to live there after the nuclear event described earlier in Isaiah 29:5, 6.
Our job, as prospective overcomers, is to recognize the threat of a world war and to pray that it will be limited to the parameters in Isaiah 29 and Jeremiah 19. We should pray that a maximum number of people in the land may survive, both Israelis and Palestinians. Unfortunately, most Christians and Jews are blind to these coming events. God Himself has blinded the eyes of the prophets—in regard to this destruction of Jerusalem—as it is written in the next two verses. Isaiah 29:9, 10 says,
9 Be delayed and wait, blind yourselves and be blind; they become drunk but not with wine, they stagger, but not with strong drink. 10 For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep. He has shut your eyes, the prophets, and He has covered your heads, the seers.
This is why many gifted prophets today are blind to the coming destruction of Jerusalem. God has put a bag over their heads so that they will not see it coming. Many of those prophets can prophesy with great accuracy in areas that are unrelated to Jerusalem, but when it comes to “Israel,” they are totally blind. God informed us of this ahead of time in the passage above.
So we often find ourselves in a strange situation. Christians and Jews promote war, even while knowing that millions could die, while at the same time they accuse us of “antisemitism” because we believe that Jerusalem will be destroyed, even though we pray that many will survive. If we were antisemitic, would we be praying for their survival? Would we even care?
We are not the ones who help Jews move to Israel where there is a high probability that they would be killed. It is the blind Christian Zionists who do this, because they do not know the pertinent Scriptures. They insist that Jerusalem is an “eternal city” where Jesus will establish the capital of His Kingdom on earth. They say He will live in a rebuilt temple and be served by Levitical priests who will offer Him animal sacrifices daily.
In other words, they think that the New Covenant is a temporary convenience to bring in the Gentiles, and when the age ends, the Old Covenant will resume where it left off. They say that the time between the two comings of Christ is the “Age of Grace,” and when it ends, we will enter the “Age of Law.” They treat Grace and Law as if they were opposites, not knowing that the Law of Jubilee and many other laws establish Grace.
This too is part of the blindness in much of the church.
As for our ministry, we seek to establish God’s Kingdom in a lawful manner based on the New Covenant and Jesus’ interpretation and application of the law. We have engaged in many years of spiritual warfare and intercession to lay foundations for the Kingdom and to build a throne for Christ, so to speak. To the extent that God has enabled us, we have influenced world events to align them with Bible prophecy and to soften the blow where destruction is inevitable.
Even the destruction of Babylon does not have to involve a sudden and total collapse of world economies. I believe that crises will come incrementally, and bankrupt countries will fall into our hands willingly, because there is no other solution but the Kingdom of God. Leaders of nations will be grateful, not resentful, and they will gladly work with us because we will be there to benefit the people. I say this because we are already seeing this happen.
