Divorcing America's golden calves

When President Trump backed down from bombing Iran’s nuclear power plant at Bushehr, under the pretense of secret negotiations with an unknown Iranian, it signaled our 2001 victory just now emerging in the world. Trump’s rhetoric says that this is just a 5-day postponement, so we will have to see what happens on March 28/29. By another pattern (from 1983), we achieved victory on April 1^st. So perhaps this too will be reflected in 2026.

The Golden Calves

The main pattern, however, is from 2001, when we repelled the demonic attack from the seven princes over America, headed by the Prince of Persia, the spirit behind the golden calves that Jeroboam set up after Solomon died (1 Kings 12:28, 29). These golden calves were the underlying reason for the expulsion of Israel from the land and the breaking of the covenant.

When Israel fell, no one thought to overthrow those golden calves, although they were most likely brought to Assyria as part of the spoils of war. The golden calves, then, went with the Israelites to Assyria and continued to remain in power during their long captivity. In January of 2001, God revealed to us that we were to overthrow those golden calves.

Hence, God instigated the church to file its legal case against us on January 29, 2001, and when they lost their case, they refused to abide by the Judge’s decision. Instead, they attacked us in three distinct battles, beginning February 28, 2001, then on March 8, and finally on March 22-24.

They fought because they saw it as an existential issue, of course, but God had His own plan to overthrow the golden calves permanently. This was designed to institute “regime change” in the heavens over America.

The Great Divorce

The golden calves set up by Jeroboam actually established a spiritual marriage between Israel and the Prince of Persia and a divorce from God Himself. It was therefore a violation of the marriage covenant, as pictured in the book of Hosea, whose wife (Gomer) committed adultery and ran off with other gods. According to the law in Deuteronomy 24:1 KJV, God then gave Israel a bill of divorce, as confirmed in Jeremiah 3:8 and Hosea 2:2.

More than that, the law of Tribulation decreed in Deuteronomy 28:64,

⁶⁴ Moreover, the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone, which you or your fathers have not known.

The way it actually worked out in history, those ex-Israelites in the dispersion did indeed serve many other gods, inspired by the continuing jurisdiction of their demonic husband, the Prince of Persia, under the authority of the golden calves. This captivity was long, a period of “seven times” (7 x 360 years). During that time, God always maintained a remnant of grace, as Paul tells us, but the vast majority remained under the dominion of the golden calves. This is what changed in 2001 immediately after the transition of authority from Saul to David, which took place at the feast of Tabernacles in 2000.

The Great Remarriage

We saw this illustrated by the wedding between Richard and Sharon in Champaign, Illinois, where 120 people had gathered to keep the feast of Tabernacles. The full story is told in The Wars of the Lord, chapter 25.

This actually represented the (re)marriage of Christ to the overcoming remnant and also the transfer of authority from Pentecost to Tabernacles—that is, from the second church (Pentecost) to the third church (Tabernacles). A month later, we overthrew the great harlot (Jerusalem) pretending to be the bride, and we set up the heavenly Jerusalem as the true Bride, the capital of the Kingdom.

This is what the second church rejected when it filed its case against the overcomers two months later on January 29, 2001. This is what plunged us into war with the Prince of Persia on February 26-28. The result was that America received a divorce from the Prince of Persia on March 24, 2001. America was being granted a divorce from the golden calves that had been “married” to Israel since the days of Jeroboam. I wrote about this in chapter 29 of The Wars of the Lord:

What was accomplished in the spirit in 2001 is now emerging in the earthly realm in 2026.

Disinheriting the Children of the Unholy Marriage

America’s divorce from the golden calves has now taken effect in the earth. The problem, however, is that this unholy marriage has produced spiritual children who follow in the footsteps of their father, the Prince of Persia. These need to be disinherited. We did this back in 2001 from March 24 to April 24. Hence, that appears to be our focus for the next month. We will have to watch and see how this will manifest in the weeks to come.

I did not write anything about this in The Wars of the Lord. Instead, I skipped two months and picked up the story in late May, when we had another gathering to call forth Gideon’s Army. We did not know that this was actually preparing us for the World War facing us in July.

We will continue to be watchful in the weeks ahead. Meanwhile, it seems that the war against Iran may have ended, even though there are still threats in abundance. Nonetheless, if we are interpreting the 2001 patterns with any reasonable accuracy, I would expect to see a greater war break out at the end of June or early July.

Continue to pray about these things. However, know also that we already fought the war 25 years ago, setting the course of current events. We are today just seeing what was accomplished in 2001. Prayer today is mostly to know how we should conduct ourselves personally as we observe “the Lord’s doing” (Psalm 118:23).
