On a prophetic level, Passover occurred Nov. 29 and 30 this year. We saw all past prophecy fulfilled except for leaving with the wealth of Egypt. Exodus 12:35, 36 says,
"Now the sons of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, for they had requested from the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; and the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have their request. Thus they plundered the Egyptians."
This too ought to come to pass shortly now. As most of you know, our past prophetic information is that it would be associated with the wave-sheaf offering of BARLEY. The wave-sheaf offering occurs on the first Sunday after Passover (Lev. 23:11) on the day most people know as "Easter."
Applying this to our situation now, if Passover occurred last Wednesday the 30th, then the wave-sheaf offering would be Sunday, Dec. 4. This is a day that holds great importance to me personally, since it is the day that I resigned the church in Las Cruces, NM thirty years ago (1981). It was when I left my own "Egypt." I said many times in the past that I had been building my own little Tower of Babel, and that the Lord delivered me from it on Dec. 4, 1981.
So perhaps this pattern from thirty years ago is a Watch Date for us today as it coincides with the wave-sheaf offering of barley after Passover.
There are always other possibilities, of course, because once we bring in the events from 30 years ago, there is a whole series of Watch Dates until the end of January. You may want to review chapter 3 of my book, Hearing God's Voice.
Back in 1981, it actually took a couple of days to complete my withdrawal from that church. Hence, we should watch both Dec. 4 and 5 and then again Dec. 30, which is the date that we physically drove out of town back in 1981. That date would coincide more with the Second Passover, if there is such a thing to watch this year.
Yet it seems that events are being speeded up and are happening now. The CRV (auto) that we leased was made available early so that we did not have to wait until mid-December as the dealer had thought. Then, too, our daughter was due to deliver her first-born son on Dec. 29, but it came four weeks early on Dec. 1st. These signs and more suggest that we could be very close to the RV of the Iraqi dinar.
At the very least, this all suggests that the final agreements have been made and the paperwork is being signed by top bankers and world leaders this week or by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. There is always a possibility that we may not see anything occur on the surface until later, but I do believe that there is movement that will soon bear fruit.
Once this happens, we will have to be watchful for the next biblical event in the sequence. The Red Sea experience is the day celebrated by the wave-sheaf offering. Then comes the attack by Amalek in Exodus 17:8-16. The Amalekites wanted the wealth that Israel had taken from Egypt. They attacked Israel on the way to Mount Sinai, but the Israelites won by establishing equal weights and measures and the "balances" of justice. It was portrayed by Moses holding up his arms to form a Cross (Ex. 17:11, 12).
Knowing the biblical patterns forewarns us, so that we are not taken by surprise.
