View Full Tract ListI recently posted pictures of the United Presbyterian Journal in Pakistan where, in their January issue, they reprinted the first part of my book on The Biblical Meaning of Numbers.
More recently (in March), they invited Pastor Fiaz to speak at their yearly Synod convention. Fiaz presented GKM to them and told them of our work in translating and printing books for the churches in Pakistan. Here is the group picture.
Here the Presbyterian pastors are holding up their free copies of The Sons of God, which is our latest publication.
Pastor Fiaz also sent me a few individual pictures where he posed with the pastors holding their book. Here are two of those pictures.
Some ladies came to Fiaz’ office wanting copies of The Sons of God.
In other news, we were able to redeem a slave and his family in Pakistan. He had incurred a debt of $1700 and was forced to work making bricks for about $10/day, which was barely enough to feed his family (wife and four children). In other words, he was unable to pay off the debt and had been working as a slave for 12 years. His children knew no other way of life.
He is now free, and his children are enrolled in the school. When the man learned that he was being redeemed, his eyes filled with tears. I can’t say more, nor can I post any pictures, because this might put him in danger. Perhaps some day I can share more of the story.
I will just say that this is very much like the story of the Israelites who had to make bricks in Exodus 5:7. We do not know their work quota (Exodus 5:13), but our brother had to make 1,000 bricks a day just to earn $10. I can’t help but think that this is a sign of another Exodus coming.
