The Hebrews and Greeks each used the letters of their alphabets as numbers. That means every letter and every word in the Bible carries a numeric value.
Kurios (Lord) = 800
Iesus (Jesus) = 888
Christos (Christ) = 1480
TOTAL (Lord Jesus Christ): 3168
There were two kinds of cubits in Scripture: the regular cubit measures 19.8 inches; the sacred cubit was a handbreadth longer. Solomon’s temple was measured in “old standard” cubits, so the perimeter of the temple (160 cubits) was 3168 inches—the numeric value of Lord Jesus Christ. Hence, Solomon’s temple was a revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The number for Christos (1480) was also the number of years from Moses to Christ, that is, from the Exodus at the first Passover (2448 years from Adam) to the final Passover when Christ died on the cross (3927). The death of Christ marked the start of the 1480th year.
Hence, it took 1480 years for the prophet who was “like Moses” to complete His mission as the Passover Lamb. The timing itself proves that Jesus is the Christ.
A (counterfeit) parallel to this was the “little horn” of Daniel 7:8 KJV, which arose when the Emperor Justinian the Great changed “times” and “law” (Daniel 7:25) from 529-534 A.D. He is the one who (in 526) altered the Roman calendar to begin with the birth of Christ instead of the founding of Rome. Then he changed the entire Roman law system to reflect Orthodox Christian law (529). The new laws came into effect in 534 A.D.
1480 years after 534 A.D. was 2014, which was an important year. However, they failed to take into account the century (163-63 B.C.) where Jerusalem was independent and the beast empire of the day was deprived of its authority to rule. Hence, this century had to be added to end of the “seven times” (2,520 years) that God had allotted to the beasts. This brought us to 2024.
In my view, it marked the start of the transition of authority from the little horn to the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:27). Many thought Christ would return at that time. Some saw it as the beginning of the “Great Tribulation.” But the end was not yet upon them. There have been many important years, but so far they have all proven to be steps toward the end.
The longest-term cycle, of course, dates back to Adam. In my book, Secrets of Time, I trace the chronology of Adamic history in Jubilee cycles. The 120th Jubilee was reached at the day of Atonement in October of 1986. It was the year 5880 from Adam (49 x 120 years). We are now approaching 40 years later—the year 5920 from Adam. 1480 x 4 = 5920.
Hence, the year 2026 is an important year to watch in long-term prophetic history, just as 2023-2024 was important as the 70th Jubilee since Joshua’s Jordan crossing. The year 2023-2024 was important insofar as the judgment of Edom is concerned. Now we are in 2026, the year relating in some way to the Exodus under Moses and the earthly ministry of the One like Moses.
Therefore, the Autumn feasts this year are quite significant. While I do not expect to see the return of Christ Himself this year, I do expect to enter a new era of Kingdom history. Seeing prophetic watch dates are not that difficult; understanding what will actually happen is much more difficult. There is much we know from the prophetic background and the meaning of numbers, but much is also hidden from view until we reach those actual dates.
So please do not misunderstand what I am saying. I am not claiming that Christ will return next month. Many dates are important leading up to Christ’s return. We still have ten years to complete the 121st Jubilee from Adam (2035-2036). There may be other important dates that we do not yet perceive. Nonetheless, I am sharing this about 2026 to keep you up-to-date on where we stand in Kingdom history.
