NEW YORK/WASHINGTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. Army has used up much of its global stockpile of highly accurate long-range missiles during its five-month war with Iran, according to three people familiar with the data, raising concerns about the military's readiness for future conflicts….

The dramatic rundown in precision, long-range missiles means U.S. President Donald Trump may have to rely more on riskier, piloted bombing missions if he relaunches large-scale attacks on Iran….

Trump launched the Iran war jointly with Israel in February, predicting that the conflict would last a short time.

But as the war drags on, the three people familiar with the matter expressed worry that the falling missile supplies could limit the U.S. ability to deter adversaries, including Russia and China…

Asked for comment on the stockpile data, the White House issued a statement from Trump, saying the U.S. had “far more munitions than anyone in the world" and "far more than we need."

COMMENT: This may be the real reason Trump was so compassionate that he cancelled his “Gates of Hell” bombing campaign last weekend. One can’t be sure, however, that he even believes that there is such a shortage of weapons.

The second reason is that three Gulf states begged Trump not to bomb Iran’s infrastructure, knowing that Iran would retaliate against them, perhaps bombing their desalinization plants. All of the Gulf states rely heavily on water production, and if these are bombed, most of their populations would have to flee the country. It would mark a complete collapse of the Gulf states who host US military bases.

Trump claims that Iran called him and whimpered, “Please don’t bomb us.” I don’t believe that for a moment. It was Saudi Arabia that made the call, not Iran. Trump in his second term has learned the art of propaganda.

Looking at the problem long-term, it is clear that China is the real winner in the US-Iran war. The US is using up all of its missiles that it was hoping to use in its planned war against China.

The problem is that if the US runs out of conventional weapons, that would leave just one course of action—nuclear war.

Personally, I do not think that this will happen, at least not with China. Nuclear war will be regional in the Mideast. Scripture (Isaiah 29:1-4) indicates that Jerusalem will be destroyed and that the land of Israel itself will be uninhabitable (because of fallout?). The Bible is silent about any Israeli “Samson option,” but I was informed decades ago of the Israeli plan to nuke a dozen Arab cities if it ever came to this. Isaiah 17:1 speaks of the destruction of Damascus alone.

Prophecies are usually incomplete, because “we prophesy in part” (1 Corinthians 13:9), so this may be a hint of a wider destruction of other cities as well.

We must also keep in mind the Pike Plan for three world wars, first published in 1925. Recall that the third world war was planned to destroy Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all at once in order to pave the way for Luciferian religion to fill the religious vacuum.

I have no doubt that this plan will fail, but who knows how far God will allow it to go? It seems likely that God will use the Pike Plan in some form to destroy the Christian Zionist branch of Christianity. When Jerusalem is destroyed, both Jewish Zionism and Christian Zionism will be stripped of credibility.
