Notification of a prayer campaign (Monday)

Forty years ago, in March of 1986, I was transported by the Spirit to an underground “dungeon” in Saudi Arabia, where I encountered my angel guarding a bear-like beast. The angel identified him as a beast of war, called to “devour much flesh.” This wording was taken from Daniel 7:5 KJV and was the “bear” of Persia, the second beast.

The angel then said this bear would have to be released during Ramadan, which, in that year, was in the month of May. This was when the Iran-Contra plot took place under President Reagan, and this was revealed the following November, causing a great scandal.

The angel also told me that there was another beast, similar to this one, another beast of war, which would ultimately destroy Jerusalem. I wrote about this years ago in my booklet, The 1986 Vision of the Two Gulf Wars.

The first “bear” (the Prince of Persia, also known as Abaddon and Apollyon) was released in May 1986, and two years later, we held a prayer campaign to take him captive. On August 2, 1988 we fasted in preparation for the actual prayer campaign on August 3, and we took him captive. However, a year later, on the same date in 1989, we were required to release him. A year later, on the night of August 2/3, 1990, Iraq invaded Kuwait, and the first war began.

In 2001, we were finally able to take the Prince of Persia captive. We then entered into the time of the second “bear.” When US forces again invaded Iraq in 2003, I assumed that this was the work of the second beast, but I see things differently today. The war in 2003 was the in-the-world result of our spiritual warfare in 2001.

The second “bear” is the architect of the current war against Iran today. The Prince of Persia is behind the US military campaign, and the ultimate but hidden goal is to destroy Jerusalem. In other words, our “defense” of the Zionist state is designed to backfire. The bear has lured the US government into a trap and has deceived Trump into thinking that Iran is losing this war.

In fact, the bear is demilitarizing and disarming the US military at an alarming rate, just as Europe was demilitarized and de-industrialized by the Ukraine war in the past few years.

The Two Bears in 2009

In April of 2009 we entered into the time of Elisha, having completed the rise of the house of David (1993-2000) and the house of Joseph (2001-2009). The rise of these two houses was part of the long-term buildup of Kingdom authority to deal with Mystery Babylon. The addition of Elisha represents the double portion of Elijah’s mantle (2 Kings 2:9, 13).

Just as John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way for Christ’s first coming, so also the overcomers have come today in the spirit and power of Elisha, having the double portion which is necessary to prepare the way for his second coming.

In April 2009, the Elisha ministry was launched at a Passover Bible conference in Manassas, Virginia. We immediately began to see prophetic manifestations of the miracle-signs of Elisha. Elijah performed 8 miracle-signs; Elisha performed 16, according to his double portion. Our focus in today’s weblog is on the third sign of Elisha—the two bears (2 Kings 2:23, 24). At the time, we made the connection between the two bears and the two golden calves that Jeroboam later set up—one in Bethel (church), and the other in Dan, later called Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13), and now known as Panea or Banea, at the base of Mount Hermon. Panea is the location of the Grotto of Pan, the home of the Greek god, Pan, who is known in the Hebrew Scriptures as Azazel.

The trip that we took in 2009 had two objectives. We dealt with the first bear in Seattle, and we overthrew the second bear (Pan) at the Black Forest just outside of Colorado Springs. The pop singer, Michael Jackson died the next morning, June 25, 2009.

By the way, Pan is portrayed as half goat, half man.

I have always said that when we conduct spiritual warfare, it is like thrusting a sword into a haystack and seeing who yells “Ouch!” We do not always know who is connected to the spirit that we are fighting. In this case, events proved that Michael Jackson was the man who was being used as an earthly proxy for the spiritual entity, Pan. Jackson was well known for his obsession with Peter Pan, even naming his ranch, “Neverland Ranch.” He was also obsessed with bears.

Nonetheless, Michael Jackson was not the primary agent of Pan/Azazel in the world. In a way, we were just dealing with an American manifestation of Pan in the Black Forest of Colorado. The real Pan is said to live in the Black Forest in Germany. I believe he moved to Germany after being expelled from Caesarea Philippi. That story is told by Bishop Eusebius in Eccl. Hist. VII, xvii:

“Near Caesarea Philippi, called Paneas by the Phoenicians, on the skirts of the mountain called Paneum, they point to springs believed to be the source of the Jordan. Into these they say that on a certain feast day [Tabernacles?] a victim is thrown, and that by the demon's power it disappears from sight miraculously. This occurrence strikes the onlookers as a marvel to be talked of everywhere. One day Astyrius was there while this was going on, and when he saw that the business amazed the crowd, he pitied their delusion, and looking up to heaven, pleaded through Christ with God who is over all to refute the demon who was deluding the people and stop them from being deceived. When he had offered this prayer, it is said that the sacrifice instantly came to the surface of the water. Thus their miracle was gone, and nothing marvelous ever again happened at that spot."

It seems that Astyrius, a Christian from Alexandria, knew how to conduct spiritual warfare, and about 262 A.D. he expelled Pan from the Grotto of Pan. Pan/Azazel then moved to the Black Forest in Germany, where his throne is today.

It is now clear that our prayer campaigns in the past have focused on America. The Gulf War (1990-1991) was about an attempt to avoid the trap set for America by the Prince of Persia. In 2001 we overthrew the seven princes over America, manifesting as the two golden calves and the two bears. In 2009 we made the 3-week trip west to deal with the two bears, climaxing at Colorado Springs. These all focused on a portion of the world called America.

We are now ready to expand this beyond our border to include the spiritual throne of Azazel over the world as a whole. Hence, August 2/3, 2026 marks an important turning point in Kingdom history.

Prayer Campaign August 3, 2026

I have given a summary of past events regarding Pan/Azazel in order to let you know that last night our heavenly Father gave instructions to hold a prayer campaign against Pan on Monday, August 3. It is the anniversary of the day in 1988 when we first bound Apollyon, the Prince of Persia (the first bear). It appears that we are now finally allowed to overthrow the second bear, which was given authority over Israel by King Jeroboam (1 Kings 12:29).

We are calling for a day of fasting on August 2 (Sunday), in preparation for the warfare on Monday. A fast can mean skipping 2 meals or even doing without something else (such as what many Catholics do for Lent). Do as you are led.

I will post a model prayer tomorrow which is designed to bring us into unity and focus.
