Well, it is now apparent that war did indeed break out in early July as the 2001 pattern indicated. President Trump gave Iran another ultimatum to submit to US domination by July 11 or face another round of bombing. That confirmed our prophetic pattern precisely.
Iran’s military has been defeated and obliterated dozens of times since February 28, according to Trump. Yet Iran continues to destroy the US bases in the region with their missiles and drones. The reason is not simple. Iran has been storing all of its military capacity far underground, where US bombs cannot reach, while the US bases are all above ground, where they are vulnerable.
The funeral of Iran’s assassinated Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was held from July 4-9, and he was buried July 9. Ironically, it began on America’s 250th birthday celebration and ended with his burial on July 9, 2026 at the Shrine of Imam Reza in Mashhad, northeastern Iran. Mashhad was both his birthplace and Iran's holiest Shiite city.
On July 6 Trump issued an ultimatum that said Iran must reach an agreement with the United States by July 9, or Washington would “finish the job,” threatening Iran’s bridges and energy system. However, the ceasefire that was signed on June 17 effectively began to collapse on July 7, when the US induced (or bribed) a few ships to try to slip through the Strait by turning off their transponders not obtaining a proper permit from Iran—in violation of Memorandum 5. Iran attacked 5 ships.
This was an obvious and deliberate provocation, designed to give the US an excuse to void the Memorandum (which Trump had signed) that had included returning $300 billion of Iranian funds that the US had frozen. The United States responded indignantly with a large wave of strikes against more than 80 Iranian military targets. This marked the beginning of the latest round of sustained hostilities.
On July 8, President Trump declared the ceasefire “over.”
On July 9 Iran launched retaliatory strikes against U.S. military facilities in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, claiming to have targeted Patriot missile batteries, an early-warning installation, and fuel storage facilities. Fighting intensified around the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran reiterating that it would not reopen the waterway unless the US complied with the MOU that it had signed earlier—including an Israeli evacuation of Lebanon.
Trump blamed Iran for renewing the war and yet claimed that Iran was “begging” for a ceasefire and a renewal of negotiations. Trump provided no proof of this. He loves to picture others “begging” him for something, as we saw with his treatment of Italian PM Meloni recently. He seems to think that belittling other world leaders makes him look great again. I find it both nauseating and embarrassing. It is certainly not the Kingdom manner of foreign policy.
Now Trump is claiming that the US will be the “guardian angel” of the Strait. That claim is beyond ridiculous, because Iran only has to sink a single ship anywhere in the Persian Gulf to block the Strait. Why? Because Lloyds of London is not going to insure any ship that is in danger of being struck in a war zone.
WASHINGTON — President Trump declared Monday that the US will be “taking over” the Strait of Hormuz following another round of airstrikes against Iran overnight.
“We’re taking over the strait. They have nothing. They’ve got nothing,” Trump, 80, told “Fox & Friends” when asked about Iran’s claims to have closed the critical waterway.
“So we’re just going to hit them very hard, and we’re going to, we’re going to keep the strait, and we’ll probably run it,” the president later added. “We’ll become the guardian of the strait. Maybe we’ll call it the guardian angel of the strait, and we should be reimbursed for that … We guarded it for nothing, and now we’re going to guard it — we’re going to get paid for guarding it.”
Trump is now proposing a 20% fee on ships transiting the Strait.
“President Donald Trump said Iranian ships will no longer be able to travel through the Strait of Hormuz and America would charge a 20% toll on other countries’ eligible cargo, escalating tensions after weekend of attacks by both nations to assert control of the critical waterway.”
Rubio has previously said the US wouldn’t allow tolls in the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump’s announcement comes after Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Gulf leaders late last month and said the U.S. would not support Iran charging fees for ships to go through the Strait of Hormuz.
“That’s international waterway. There isn’t a nation on Earth that supports having to pay money to go through the Straits,” Rubio told reporters in Bahrain on June 25.
Rubio also said there was “zero support among the Gulf countries for any sort of toll or fees or anything that charges for the use of international waters. The president’s made it clear that’s not going to happen. It’s not going to be a part of this. It cannot be a part of this.”
Iran’s fee is less than 1-2%, and Trump finds that amount to be unacceptable as long as Iran is receiving the money. But a 20% fee for US coffers is acceptable? How is that an improvement, other than increasing US dominance over the entire world by controlling the world’s flow of energy? Is this part of MAGA?
Another major event was the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, announced on July 12, but which probably took place on July 11 while he was in Ukraine. The timeline given to the public simply does not make sense, considering travel times.

Graham was a key warmonger who never met a war that he did not support. Prophetically speaking, I find it interesting that in our 2001 parallel, Katherine Graham, owner of the New York Post, fell and went into a coma on July 14, 2001. She died a few days later on July 17.
At the time in 2001, we took this as a sign of victory as our spiritual battles were winding down. Should we consider Lindsey Graham’s death to be a similar sign of victory in 2026?
There is another connection between 2001 and 2026 that surfaced during the funeral in Iran.
On February 28, 2001, in our first battle against the seven princes over America, we overthrew the Prince of Revenge. The funeral in Iran saw rising calls for “revenge,” not only for the assassination of the Supreme Leader, but also for his three-year-old granddaughter that was killed in the same strike.
The coffin of Khamenei's three-year-old granddaughter was on display as mourners, separated into men's and women's routes, filed past to pay their respects…
At points, the crowd beat their chests and chanted "Revenge, revenge" and "Death to America". State television zoomed in on a banner in the crowd demanding: "Where is the revenge for our martyred leader?" Another shot lingered on a woman who had written "revenge" across her hand.
The coincidence is striking. We overthrew the Prince of Revenge on February 28, 2001, and 25 years later the US-Israel coalition struck Iran, killing the Supreme Leader, setting the stage for his funeral—at which time Iranians called for “revenge.”
Recall, too, that when the 2001 events played out on the world stage in September, following the Twin Towers demolition on 911, the US response too was “revenge.” My analysis, written in my report dated November 2, 2001 stated this:
“After the horror, shock, and grief have had their day, it is normal human nature for these to be replaced by anger, hatred, and the desire for revenge. This is because in our natural pride, we nearly always assume that we ourselves are totally innocent victims and that the perpetrator hates us without cause. We almost never engage in any serious introspection and certainly do not want to find out from the perpetrator what his reasons were in attacking us….
“This is why such conflicts always escalate into larger conflicts until one party or the other is destroyed. Few people look deeper at the root causes of any conflict.
“This attack against America has produced a new sense of patriotism. Normally, this is a good thing. But there is a down side to this as well. It makes Americans more willing to get on the vengeance bandwagon and strike “the enemies of America,” rather than repent. Carnal people never suspect that they themselves might be the problem. They always assume the other guy is totally at fault. Since both sides always believe themselves to be in the right, the cycle of violence merely increases until everyone is dead. Vengeance with patriotic fervor is not the answer.
“When we are attacked, the unbelievers see only the foreign enemy and react patriotically. Christians usually react with a mixture of patriotism and righteous indignation against those who would attack our Christian nation. But most Christians have some awareness that we have departed from God and the principles of the Kingdom of God. An attack should be no surprise.
“As Christian overcomers, we put our faith and trust in God to protect us. When attacked, we know that we are to deal with God, not with the “bad guys” directly. If we are attacked, we need to go to God and ask why He allowed this to happen to us, believing that God alone is sovereign and has brought this judgment upon us. Amos 3:6 tells us,
6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
“Evil has indeed come to the city of New York. God has certainly used terrorists to issue a wake-up call to America. One cannot merely blame bad men for doing it, as if God were impotent in the affairs of this world. The fact is, God is sovereign and could have prevented it but chose not to do so. God has His reasons. We need to pray to find out those reasons.
“Secondly, we would do well to understand the reasons of those who attacked us. What would make people willing to give up their own lives in suicide attacks? Why do they feel so strongly about this? Why do they hate us so much? Right or wrong, they all have their reasons. These are the two most relevant questions to ponder.
“One radio commentator made this insightful observation: “The question that few people are asking is what has America done that would make some people hate her so much that they would attack us in this way?” That is the right question.
“We need to do some honest soul searching to see if we wronged those people or could have prevented this disaster with a more Christian attitude. The answer is not obscure. We were attacked because America is the primary sponsor and protector of the Zionist State called “Israel.” Without our $3.5 billion a year in aid, the Israeli government would not have the resources to give subsidized housing to Jews who settle in the Palestinian areas and terrorize them continually. Without our support for them, the Muslims would find it difficult to recruit suicide bombers against us, because most of them would not be so angry with us."
[End of Quote]
It is clear in 2026 that we are seeing an echo of the 2001 spiritual battles, involving the overthrow of the demonic princes over America. Iran certainly has its own problems, but our concern should be America’s spiritual condition. Repentance has far greater value than vengeance. Until we repent of our support of Zionism and our lawlessness, God will continue to raise up “enemies” to force us to adopt a Kingdom view. In the law of tribulation, we are told in Leviticus 26:17-19 that God will judge a lawless nation:
17 I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you… 19 I will also break down your pride of power…
This is now being fulfilled in America. America’s “pride of power” is obvious. We need to replace our pride with some well-deserved humility, or God Himself will humble us.
